The downside was the recent work on some of the sites left it very confusing as to where to set up. No worries, they changed us to a better spot. We met a nice couple (Nancy and Bill from Ohio) with their cute little dachshunds Charlie and Lucy. The pool is super clean and needless to say, I laid out too long. I would definitely recommend! The area has a key west feel.

We arrived quite late, yet were greeted by a team of guides ... we followed one in a golf cart to our space, and they helped us get parked (we're new trailer owners). My only negative is the site density. Very few trees (mostly lone palms), absolutely no privacy... you get that by retreating into your RV. Spaces are very close, and most have a second vehicle parked in parallel along the street. There are clearly lots of full time residents, so it's a bit of a mix of RV park and trailer park. Although the site density is high, it is quiet, and very well kept. As for facilities, very clean restrooms and showers, a nice laundry, book exchange room, a well stocked camper store, game rooms, a dance hall, and much more. As for pets... there are lots of dogs.. all were on leash. There is a dog park... other than that not really lots of areas to walk the dogs except on the roads. Also saw quite a few motor homes with indoor cats peering out. It's always nice along the coast to hear and watch osprey overhead... there was one near our site. The campground has three lakes that probably serve as an attraction for birds. We drove about ten minutes to delicious pizza at Pine Island Pizza, and in the morning drive in the other direction to a very nice breakfast at Ragged Ass Saloon (yes, breakfast was great there!). We were considering grilling something for dinner, but no camp grill was at our space, and we don't yet have one. Pine Island is a unique and slowly vanishing look into old coastal Florida, so being able to stay in our trailer overnight was nice.

This is a professionally managed, exceptionally clean, and genuinely friendly campground. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, the pool is wonderful and well maintained, and the Fourth of July fireworks display exceeded all of our expectations. What impressed us most, however, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was hardworking, service-oriented, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome. We would gladly recommend Seminole Campground to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable camping experience, whether you're traveling from across the country or, like us, just a few miles down the road. We have been here for June & July. We plan to extend our stay through August.

We bought this horrible little slide in camper for his truck. Put 95% of our belongings in storage and hit the road. We had the most beautiful adventure and experience! Along that journey we happened upon Seminole. We were there during the snow bird season and I couldn't have been more happy! The people working and staying there were among the nicest people I've met! Everyone was so kind, friendly and helpful!! They had amazing activities! An insane pool and all the amenities of home on the road! Nothing better than the Sunday morning pancake breakfast to get to know some neighbors. If you're ever traveling and are in the area you should definitely check this place out!

I've had…read morethem honk at me while outside or just come up to my door to tell me I'm breaking one of their 100000 rules. Rules consist of: *No parking on "sidewalk" (road outside the library) *cant throw dog waste in your own trash bad, it must be in their dog poop stations that are on opposite sides of the park *have to buy a gate code for $15 each, on top of the $1300 monthly rent - no visitors - we did not buy this at first, then the office would not answer and we sat out of the gate for 45 minutes - no answer - had to run to the exit gate to have it open then drive through just to get to our camper. * at LEAST $15 just to start your laundry - have to buy a laundry card Etc. We had a boat here, got upset with us when we wanted to take it out of their storage because it was after 2. Apparently you can't take YOUR OWN boat out UNLESS it's between their own hours. the pool is never open, barley any events happening (but will still charge extra for "amenities"). The AIR Conditions laundry room is only open during office hours (10-3) -also sucks if you work during the day. Has another laundry mat but no conditioning and poorly cleaned. Our electric is somehow $400?? Never felt an RV park was awful till this one. Steer clear!!!

I don't know why they call it fort Myers Beach RV resort. I think this is a misnomer intended to…read moreprobably make people think it's at the beach because the beach is about 3 mi away and you have to sit in about an hour's worth of traffic to get there so don't fall for that beach RV resort thing. About the resort itself it's packed You right on top of your neighbor you're facing each other so there's no privacy You have to hear people's arguments people's everything they do You hear and you see and you're kind of forced to eat with other people and congregate with other people that you may not want to be with. So think twice about coming to this resort it's not my idea of a good vacation. I also found the management to very much by the book to the point where it becomes annoying. Also know it's impossible to park here they are annual people that live here that think they own all of the overflow parking spots and park their golf carts in them to reserve them while they're driving their vehicles to the store or wherever. I complained to the management but nothing ever happened these people are allowed to do whatever they want because they are annual guests. They think they own the park and that they have reserved parking spaces. I guess it's up to the management to put them in their place but I haven't seen that since I've been here. I ran it to one person name Ken he started physical fight with me over a parking spot and threatened me. when I complained to the management nothing was done about it. Apparently he's got special parking space just for him where he takes up not one or three parking spaces he doesn't want anybody park next to him on either side so he parks in the middle of three spaces so there's just enough room to get in but you can't open your doors I was yelled at very loudly by the staff because I parked in the unauthorized parking spot. And the staff can be very rude at times. so I probably will never be coming back here as a matter of fact I know I'll never be coming back here again and would not recommend this to anyone if they are from a city or any place where people are packed together like sardines.
