I was told by the manager, Bethany (sp?) that 1) no exchanges without a receipt and 2) tobacco products cannot be exchanged. I was not offered nor did I receive a receipt. I told Bethany as much and also i was not attempting to return a tobacco product, but the device used for the tobacco product. she was not swayed to offer what I consider reasonable customer service in exchanging a defective product. I know in retail there is a process to return defective goods so I do not understand. perhaps it had something to with the fact that I engaged in a polite dispute with the manager in front of another member of staff? I am not sure, but perhaps twice daily can work with all staff to teach proper customer service skills and how to make reasonable accommodations with valued customers.
