We all have moments in our lives where our uber cool unflappable slick persona is inexplicably shaken. For me, as the penultimate uber cool chick, it's so drastic and unwarranted that it defies logic. (I say this somewhat sardonically, but for the most part - it's true) Speaking and intellectualizing are not necessarily instruments of change when you are already self aware of the issue. When I enter the spinning vortex of chaos theory and no amounts of yoga, meditation, bible thumping, affirmations, stretching, or green juice really cause a significant shift, I know that reiki will. One would presumably assume this would be my first line of defense, but it always tends to fall towards the later stages of whichever chapter of whatever blockbuster biopic journey I happen to be starring in. Aga emanates and radiates unflappable cool slick chick but is also an energy furnace. Really. There was so much heat and warmth undulating from her reiki healing, apparently I had her in tears. This was a very healing session and as everyone says, it caused an immediate shift. I felt a clearheaded determination about my next steps and a peaceful, resolute focus. I met Aga after searching for therapist to help me with my deep pain from broken heart. I watched some of her videos and decided to go see her. She responded that same evening and we set up a meeting. My long relationship ended without warning or closure and I felt heartbroken.
