I was so fortunate to find Dr. Esser at a very trying time in life. I was extremely frustrated with the major Healthcare system of big corporations such as "St. Vincent" hospital, and "The Doctors Clinic" I hadn't had medical care in many many years when I first came to Dr. Esser, to say I needed more than OBGYN care would be an understatement. Esser really takes a holistic healing approach to health. She guided me through many medical situations, helped me with my overall health, diet, nutrition, vitamins for overall well being. She is a problem solver. She puts real time into solutions varying dosages of medications until we have the right outcome. She is also an incredible surgeon. At 35 years old I was in need of a total hysterectomy- She called me from her home over the weekend to check on me. I called in December as a returning patient after two years, and I was told the next available appointment would not be until May. I asked if I could be placed on a cancellation or waiting list for anything sooner, but they told me no. On the day of my appointment, I arrived 30 minutes early to the office I had previously visited, only to find out the provider had moved to Gig Harbor. I immediately called the office, but they do not speak directly with patients, only through text messaging. I explained that I was already on my way and would only be about 10 minutes late due to the address confusion. Instead of trying to accommodate me, they told me I would need to reschedule all the way until August and then charged me a $100 no-show fee. When the appointment reminder was sent, I did not notice the new address, but after waiting five months for an appointment, I do not believe this situation was handled fairly or professionally. Charging a long-term returning patient a no-show fee under these circumstances feels unreasonable and shows a lack of compassion and flexibility toward patients.

AI now answering when you call then "it" transferred me to another on hold person. Front staff is great and the Doctor did good on some other issues but feel that they dropped the ball on this rash.
