The photos speak for themselves. The highlights were not placed correctly and were applied using…read moreoutdated techniques. The photos were taken the day after the service, yet the highlights already look as though they have grown out for months because they were not applied close to the scalp. I specifically asked for soft, blended, melted-in highlights to avoid harsh lines as my hair grows. I also clearly stated that I did not want chunky or streaky highlights and that I wanted a warm, golden blonde color. None of these requests were followed. Any way I part my hair it looks bad. I paid for full highlights, yet when I part my hair down the middle, there is only about one inch of chunky, streaky highlights with no color throughout the rest of my head. When my hair is pulled back, there is half an inch of untouched hair at the scalp with a harsh line where the highlights begin. When parted to the side, there is a single random streak behind my ear followed by several inches with no highlights at all. Instead of the golden blonde I requested, I received bleach blonde, almost white highlights. As a result, I now have to pay for professional color correction to fix the damage caused by this service.
