It has been a while since I went to get balyage. I have dark skin and I wanted a brown colored balayage. In the reviews someone wrote that they were good with dark hair. It was not true, after I paid 250$ and dried my own hair, I found out that the balayaged hair was red. Extremely poor way of spending your money, now I am going to korean hair salons. I found this salon back in 2014 or so when I wanted to get balayage. I texted LeighAnne because she posts her phone number online for anyone to reach out with questions! Shortly after that, she began doing my balayage for years to come. I took a break from the salon world and began... Errrr... Doing my own hair because it's cheaper- but terrible! I reached out to LeighAnne in May and I was doing a big transformation from being a highlighted blonde to an Auburn red head! What I like about her is that she tells me what to realistically expect, she explains the science behind hair coloring and balayage and while I was having a bit of a meltdOwn (not really but I was super nervous before she got started) she was always so kind and encouraging and was even giving me an out if I wanted. I've been seeing Leighanne since I was a sophomore in high school and now I'm 22 years old and she still does my hair. I moved to Wisconsin for school, but Leighanne is still the only person I trust to work on my hair. I will go months without getting it done because I only come back to town 2-3 times a year but I still get compliments regardless of how long it's been since I last saw her. She's really good at making me understand color because I'll show her a picture of something that's blonde in my eyes, but in reality it's grey. The last thing I want is grey hair at 22 years old lol. She has also helped me understand that it's very rare to achieve your dream hair in one appointment. She's fixed every hair mistake I've made on myself or let other colorists do to my hair. She's also very reasonably priced and her availability always lines up with my schedule, and if it doesn't, she still finds a way to make it work. Anyone who's left her a bad review obviously is just oblivious to the realities of coloring your hair. In my 26 years of life this is my first time writing a review with that being said you can tell bayalage must have really hit home. To make a long story short i left with 3 different hair colors when I simply wanted it to be Bayalage! It took about 5 hours and they still charged 180! If i wanted to look like that i couldve done it myself! &then they say it will take 5 sessions for me to get the color i want. So in other words it will take 25 hours and 1,000 dollars to actually have bayalage. So thank you bayalage dallas i will never recommend this salon to anyone! read more

FIVE STARS ISN'T ENOUGH!! After having a makeshift balayage/ombre done that was a complete opposite of what I wanted, a 'google-ing' I went to find someone to correct it.
