I haven't had my hair this short in over 20 years and I am blown away with how wonderful the cut is. I was recommended by a good friend to come here and see Jill. You have to come see Jill too. So nice, super personable and clearly is great at her job. I mean, check out the before/after pic I've attached, but I came in here with rather long hair, very visible roots, decently dark brown hair that flows towards a mish mosh of bleached blonde and faded pink on the ends. The ends were so dead and splitting that it was starting to get difficult just simply brushing my hair. It got to the point that I just would put my hair up every day because it took either too long to tame or just always got in the way. I was in the mood for a drastic haircut, so all in all, I think we cut like a solid 6 inches off (more in some layered spots) and colored it all one color. I was in and out of the salon in the perfect length of time. Jill went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable at all times (as in, what we were doing to my hair along with if I needed anything during the process). You know when you sometimes go somewhere to get your hair colored and you leave the place with a harsh amount of product still staining on your hair line, ears, etc? I was drilled about my education, told that I earned what I earned because that's what happens when you don't have an education(I have both the bachelors and the masters degree) and in what is none of anybody's business not even. Why I couldn't any longer it was also none of their business and I did set the stylist. I was told that they don't have to accept all customers and when I stated that they accepted, the comment was "well we did not know who you were ". I showed her pictures of my short and she did what she wanted to anyway giving me a true pixie. At least it's even... By the time I left I felt like I had justleft Trump headquarters. Why I gave the woman a tip I don't know. I guess I've just been raised right and this is right thing to do. But I sure wish I could extra $10 back. They are not nice people... They are very judgmental and they put their nose where it doesn't belong. I don't care if they're a good stylist or not... They judge you from the second you walk in. I couldn't wait to leave!
