I stopped in to Baldies to get an Italian sub. It wasn't busy on a Saturday afternoon and I ordered to eat there. The staff were friendly but more concerned with their phones than the customers, but like I said it wasn't busy, like I was the only one there. The cashier was friendly when taking my order but she didn't ask any questions as to what I did or did not want on my sandwich. When I got my sub, it was very basic, nothing special about it at all. Not too heavy on the hots which left less flavor. Very heavy on the diced pickles which made the breast very soggy. There was no seasoning. The vegetables were lettuce and tomatoes only. The cold cuts were there but had no flavor. I would probably return to try other items off their menu, but probably won't get an Italian sub here again as it was somewhat disappointing. The seating was cramped and as a "big guy" with a dad bod, I found it difficult to sit comfortably as I ate. It's a small place, so I didn't expect there to be much walk around space. read more

Save yourself the horrible experience. I can't believe they run a business where they allow online orders to be placed on days they are unexpectedly closed. Orthodox Easter they were listed on their website as being open. I placed an online order for myself and my son. After over an hour of waiting I decided to call and check on my order. In the meantime, I had received an email notification that said "my order was being prepared" with a countdown to the time it was expected to be delivered. I called the restaurant and of course it just rang over and over until it hung up the call on it's own. Have you ever heard of leaving a voice message with important business information?? It's pretty easy. Meanwhile, I never received my food. The following day I called and asked to speak with the owner or manager. My credit card had been charged so I was looking for a refund of course. The person who answered placed me on a hold and a man came on the phone. He didn't introduce himself so I asked who I was speaking to. In a very aggressive tone he responded, "well who do you want to be speaking to?" Umm...ok. I then proceeded to explain my situation and he told me "yeah, we were closed for Orthodox Easter. Today I am refunding everyone's money." So I suggested that he update his website so it may reflect unexpected closes, this way his customers don't place orders that they'll never get. He became defensive and started to tell me how it's impossible for him to do his job when others aren't able to do their job (blaming the website company). Like, what? Sounds like someone who comes up with a lot of excuses and blames others for issues he can solve himself. Such an awful way to conduct business. About once a week for close to two years - my pal, Bryan, and I would pick up a Pizza here for the night. It was always good. Never greasy and great service. The taste was great and the price very reasonable. Once in a while, we would get adventurous and get chicken fingers as well and those also were always solid. Never regretted the last minute add on. The pizza is hands down delicious. I have not tried a pizza from here that I didn't like. Last time I ordered there was some jack a#% kid delivering in a silver ford diesel pick up truck. He didn't even hand me the pizza. He placed it on the hood of his truck and just said "there it is". I took the pizza and started walking to my front door. Baldie's Pizzeria is probably the best pizza place I have ever been to! Their gold finger pizza is something that I've never had or heard of before, and I when I took my first bite, I was in love!!! And their Alfredo pasta with broccoli and chicken is amazing and very filling! And their customer service is wonderful. My father and I decided to sit outside at a table of theirs, and it looked like it hadn't been used in a while. I have been a customer of this place for a long time. One night I ordered 2 pizzas and a salad. I waited over an hour for my food to be delivered. When I tracked my order, it said "delivered". When we called to inquire about our order, the woman working there was extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. When we asked to speak to the owner, she was reluctant to hand ten phone over. The owner was kind, and offered to take money off our order. He said he would speak to the rude employee. However, after we turned the deliver driver away with our cold pizza, we called back to reorder and pickup. We were accused of being racist and to go somewhere else! Unbelievable! This was by far the worst customer service I've ever gotten. They messed up our order, and when we called to see about getting the rest of our food the manager yelled at us on the phone and tried to argue with us so she didn't have to send us the remainder of our order. After finally agreeing to send the rest of our food, she then sent the poor scared delivery boy with half our undelivered food and a message to call her about the whole pizza they forgot the first time, and refused to send the second. I am infuriated that they would treat frequent customers like this and if I was the owner I would be ashamed to have hired a manager like this to run my business, she was not just unwilling to give us our order but openly antagonistic and rude. Do not eat here. The food, what of it they delivered, was alright It has been one year and I am still mad. I've eaten here twice, and both time the food was good! I've had the goldeb BBQ pizza, onion pizza, and Buffalo Chicken calzone. The quality of the chicken was good (no hard fatty or chewy peices), the sauce was yummy, and the dough seemed better than your average "town of pizza" place. WOW what a gem. Portions are huge. for $12 you get about 2lbs of boneless buffalo wings. They are exceptional. Even their bleu cheese is awesome. I made the mistake of ordering something different and a different pizza arived than what was ordered. When I called it became my fault even though I used their website to order, I even double check to see if I read it wrong, nope. I have been going to Baldies since I was twelve years old and was appalled by my recent visit. I recently came back to Bridgewater to try and enjoy one of my favorite local small business to learn that it must be under new management... My girlfriend ordered Mozzarella cheese fries because she doesn't like the cheese they use on the cheese fries (she has done this for 5+ years) and rather than just adding the cheese they chose to hand me a cup of cheese. My girlfriend went back inside and politely asked for refund to be spoken to rudely by the manager and ultimately refunded. I love this place. Pizza is best. But the best part is when you order sometimes you'll get this kid with a sexy F250 power stroke. Thing is Soo nice. I only order just to see it spool up. That whistle of the turbo is just Soo nice. And if your lucky he will dump it and get it spoolin out of your driveway. It's like a bonus.
