Welcomed my weary family in with smiles and good conversation as he looked for a tire. Mr. Simmons and his staff made us the #1 priority as his shop filled with customers. Within 30 minutes he had us back on the road with a new tire. After 25+ hours we made it back home to Wisconsin. We cannot thank Mr. Simmons enough. He made a bad situation seem ok. IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR DON'T GO HERE! A simple tire change turned into a nightmare. After they…read morechanged the tires we paid and went out to our car to see they had damaged it. At first we just noticed the plastic on the door was knocked loose. We had a worker fix it who we later found out was the manager. He said oh the wind blows those off. I knew that wasn't what happened but figured he popped it back on so oh well. Unfortunately that was not the sum of their damage. We noticed after we left that that when the door was opened fully it rubbed the fender. Took it to the body shop and they found the rest of the damage. They had put our car on the rack to swap tires and didn't do it right and let our car slide and fall breaking the bolt on our running board straight off, knocked our fender up out of alignment, dented the running board and scuffed it up bad on the bottom. I got quotes and took back to the tire shop and let them know. The manager seemed to be keeping all of our discussions from the owner so I hope he sees this and reaches out. The manager used his favorite excuse to explain what happened with the rack. Apparently the wind can blow and cause the car to shift. Yeah you read that right. lol He refused to pay me anything or talk to the body shop. He refused to even just buy the running board for me to take to pay for installation elsewhere. He refused to use the item number. Said he had to put it on his rack to get the number and insisted on fixing it himself.Like I would trust the business who took my money, damaged my car and sent me on my way hoping I wouldn't notice. There's a reason why Facebook reviews are hidden and most of the good reviews found elsewhere are from when this was Simmon's Tire. This is a different owner. STEER CLEAR! I'm not sure why it says California on my name but this is in Poplar Bluff, MO.
