I could honestly write forever about Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store, and that alone should tell you how special this place is. Yes, it's a farmers market style spot, and yes, things are going to be more expensive than a regular grocery store, but that's not the point. You come here for quality, for experience, and most importantly, for the orange juice. I cannot stress this enough. The orange juice is what they're known for and for good reason. It is absolutely bomb. I've come during peak season and off season, and while today's juice wasn't exactly what I had in my head, it was still incredibly good. When it's in season, it's next level. Truly one of those things you just have to try at least once, although once usually turns into every visit. What makes this place even better is that so many of the products are student made. As an alumni, this spot really captures what a college campus and college town should feel like. It's student run, student supported, and you can feel that pride in every interaction. The students are genuinely kind, helpful, and excited to be there. Today especially, everyone was incredibly welcoming. I even told one of them I was thinking about writing a review and they encouraged me to try something new, which led me to trying the milk for the first time. While they don't make the milk themselves, the brand they carry is excellent. I tried both the banana milk and the chocolate milk and wow. These are officially becoming staples in my home. There is so much to choose from that it can almost be overwhelming, and that's not a bad thing. One of the students helping me was a freshman and didn't know the answer to one of my questions, which was totally fine because there really are that many items. It honestly just made the experience feel more real and authentic. The store itself is adorable and has so many cute photo opportunities. Everything is nicely laid out, peaceful, and welcoming. They also sell plants, which I've purchased before, and while mine are still young and haven't produced fruit yet, they're healthy and doing great. Parking is never an issue, which is a huge plus. They even have a little van area that makes it easy for people to enjoy the space without stress. There's also a petting farm in the same shopping area, which adds to the charm. The entire place is thoughtfully built and well designed. You can grab something to eat or drink, walk around, play some games out front, and just enjoy being there. It's calm, peaceful, and grounding. While you might expect it to be full of students, you actually see a lot of community members too, which makes it feel like a true gathering place rather than just a campus store. This is absolutely worth the drive. More universities should follow this model because it genuinely strengthens the connection between the school and the surrounding community in the best way possible. Give it a shot. Seriously. Come with an open mind, try something new, support the students, and do not leave without getting the orange juice. You will not regret it.

Have been stopping here for years to pick up fresh fruit, vegetables and plants. They have various events throughout the year with a pumpkin patch or tomato planting season. Plenty of parking and the student staffing is always pleasant and helpful.

Cute boutique market! They have a nursery with lots of plants outside! Loved the honey that you could fill up yourself and pay by the pound! They have fresh honey peanut butter that they sell as well as orange juice. Lots of boutique goods like stonewall kitchen as well! Fun place to stop by if ever in the area.

Unexpectedly good grocery/nursery store. Store serves products grown and produced by students. Also serves, bakery goods from nearby establishment that is pretty fresh and tasty. We loved the nursery side and bought some great tomato plants of which they had an extensive variety. Loved also the views of the mountain from the store. A must visit if you are in the area.

I love love love the Cal Poly Pomona farm store. I went to school at UCI and I am so jealous that CPP has this on campus. The students are so lucky! Here, you can find a decent selection of fresh produce and products. My favorite items are the fresh squeezed orange juice, the roasted honey peanut butter, and the habanero salsa. These are all products of the CPP farm store and they are top tier. Each item has simple and clean ingredients, and tastes amazing. I always make sure to stop by the store whenever I have to report to work in Pomona. It's such a hidden gem. I would highly recommend checking out the CPP Farm Store.

    Super spicy.

I am so grateful I found this little hidden gem. Purchased 7 pot chocolate hot peppers over 1 million scoville heat units. Wide selection of peppers not commonly found. Run by students truly knowledgeable and appreciative of your business. Actual grocery store and gift store also included with location. Definitely a nice field trip with friends and family.

I stumbled across this farm store as I was leaving the Cal Poly Pomona campus. Such a cute, country market. They had unique gifts for everybody. I saw wine stoppers, soaps, kitchen towels, stickers, & more. I liked their chocolate & marmalade section. They offered grocery items like ham & cheese. You can also buy bread. It was very crowded when I stopped in. I hope to visit in other seasons.

Wow! Why have I not visited sooner?! What a fun store! Lots of jams, jellies, salsa, and sauces! Great place to shop for gift baskets and other gifts! Huge selecting of plants too! We bought their homemade peanut butter and it was amazing! The college makes their own beer, wine and ice cream too! Nacho sauce superb! Salsa was so flavorful! Bringvyour own container and get fresh warm honey! Lots of artisan foods! More fun than a Trader Joes! Prices aren't that bad, and you are supporting a school! Can't wait to go back!

Quaint little farm store located in the Cal Poly Pomona campus. They sell all sorts of things like baked goods, preserves, spices, plants, local honey, seasonal fruits & veggies and so much more. I ended up buying some orange honey and banana nut bread. They were delicious. It's worth a visit if you're in the area!

I attended Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) back in the 1990's. They didn't have the CPP Farm Store back then. When I was here the other day with my daughter, I was curious when this farm store opened. The lady at the cash register said 2001. If I did my math right... that's 10 years after my 1st year at CPP. If you did your math right... yes, I'm old, but young at heart LOL. Anyway, I was excited to check out this farm store. It has a really quaint and farm-ish flare to it. Love the dress-up on the outside! Love the set-up on the inside even more! I was WOWed at first sight... or should I say, it was love at first sight LOL. It's not a huge store, but there are lots of goodness. It has great feng shui because with that much stuff inside, it should have felt very crowded, but it didn't whatsoever which is a good thing. Whomever laid out the blue print on this store... well done! We perused the entire store and picked up a few items. Got some gnocchi, dried pasta, garlic pasta sauce, mozzarella cheese, pumpkin snacks, artisan crackers, and toasted coconut rice crispy treat (this is so GOOD!... don't just get one, get two LOL). We haven't tried the other goods yet, but I'm sure they will be of enjoyment. Staff was very friendly. Prices are actually very reasonable. Love the ambiance! Parking is free. I would recommend everyone to drop on by, check out this farm store, and pick up some goodies to take home. It's open to the public. Let's support CPP and the farm!

I love this store. They have a great selection of plants and locally grown in season produce. I purchased a serrano plant from here and it is still growing well. I like that they offer a large selection of Old Town Baking Co. bread/pastries (you might even be able to snag some bagels on sale). They have a large selection of cpp jam, spreads, spices, and honey! I will be coming back to try the honey. The workers are nice and helpful they always answer the phone.

The layout of the store was very interesting because it looked like a mini market, and they sell fresh exotic fruits and snacks. Ordering a yogurt was a bit confusing because I did not see any pricing, but they had some instructions on how to order. Step 1: Choose dry Greek yogurt. Step 2: Pick up your fresh fruits (limit 3 items). Step 3: Choose Topping (Oats, coconut chips, or boom boom pearl). Step 4: Honey or Dark Chocolate My daughter picked a small jar of Organic blue spirulina with coconut dry yogurt. Then she picked green grapes, mangos, and strawberries for her yogurt bowl. And we also picked boom boom pearl for topping, and chose honey at the end. Then the lady told me that the price was $24.08. It was pricey. I don't understand their pricing or explanation, even though I have the receipt. She told me that it took about 10-15 minutes to make it. Honestly, for the small jar of organic blue spirulina with coconut dry yogurt, it tasted a bit sour, and I was not a fan of it. The presentation of the yogurt was nice; however, for the price that we paid, it was still a bit ripped off. The fruits were fresh, and the boom boom pearl tasted like popping boba was interesting. The Greek Yogurt was a bit too thick. I would rather go to the Açaí bowl place to have more fresh fruit and a bigger portion. The lady was friendly and helpful. But I would rather go to Açaí bowl and Yogurtland combined next time. P.S. I forgot to mention that they were out of honey, so no honey in the yogurt bowl.

Plenty of the usual stands. But sets this market apart from others are the hidden gems between stalls. For being an early morning market, there are a ton of hot food options - I picked up two tamales from the tamale person for $4 bucks a pop. Their prices haven't been inflated by the inflation. I also saw a Mediterranean stand and I'm pretty sure there was an Asian stand of some sort. What I loved about this market was the pastry guy, unapologetically located smack dab in the center of the market. All of his pastries run around $5-$6 dollars and everything I picked up was so delicious. I bought an almond croissant, a pistachio croissant, and a ham & cheese guy - all the croissants were phenomenally flakey. I also picked up a spinach and cheese quiche which made for a nice breakfast situation. Definitely come here for the pastries. Based on my observation, everyone was here for the seafood peddler. The line for this stand snaked around the market. Pretty. good options for being such a small market.
