8/21/24 OH MY GOSH! Why haven't I known about this place!?
    Jennifer W.

8/21/24 When I got my receipt for $27.95, I had to do a double take, "Really? Is that it?!!" I have got to come back here over & over again!! My new place for groceries!! Alright, slow your role, Jen! Why only 4 stars? Initially I thought maybe 3 stars. I had to really be objective. Firstly, some of the produce (fruits & veggies) aren't their most prime or freshest. If i give it about 70% is really great & only 30% not do great, then you have to see for yourself. Secondly, oh my goodness, the prices are just off the wall rock bottom if I am to compare it to Stater Bros., Cardenas or Super King. Absolute madness! Can't beat the prices, really! Thirdly, the selection, there are so many kinds of ethnic products to discover, many of which is unfamiliar to me. I can guess there's Asian (including Indian), Mediterranean, Latino inspired products featured at this market. The staff all look hardworking. Two of the cashiers were very friendly. The place is like an indoor farmers market, equipped with swamp coolers to keep the produce fresh & the customers comfortable. I did see some flies buzzing around. I had a tough time rating this store but I was really drawn to the fact that it has so much to offer. One has to be mindful when selecting their products to ensure that what you choose is if the better quality though. All in all, I did go with my gut instinct & give them a 4 star. I love the variety & the friendliness of the staff. Will see if any of my purchases would disappoint me, hope not!

WARNING TO CUSTOMERS: On July 1st, 2025 around 2:30 PM, my wife and I were overcharged at Diamond Fresh Farmers Market (Diamond Bar) for Forelle Pears - labeled as $0.99/lb, but charged $3.90/lb. We have photos and receipts to prove the discrepancy. When we brought it to the cashier's attention, she refused to acknowledge the mistake. A man claiming to be the manager accused us of taking the wrong pears and treated us with hostility. After escalating, we finally got a partial refund from another cashier. Shockingly, the so-called manager shouted at us: "F* out!"** and told us never to return. This behavior was highly unprofessional and offensive. I have reported this to the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs. I strongly urge others to double-check your receipts and think twice before shopping here. Consumers deserve respect and transparency.

Drove by this spot and decided to pop in. This place has tons of different fruits (star fruit, blueberries, giant pomelos, etc) and vegetables (red kale, graffiti eggplant, etc). They also carry a wide variety of grains and snacks from all over the place. I was happy to find milk chocolate digestive cookies that I normally only find at cost world plus markets. They also have a bunch of plants and gardening pots for sale here! The prices are cheap but the quality also seemed on the lower end. A lot of the fruits looked like they were bruised, split, and some definitely have seen better days - same goes for the vegetables. Tip: they have two areas where you can check out: first one is by the front and the other is inside where all the refrigerated things are! I didn't really interact with the staff since the bf checked out. Would I come back? Maybe if I were in the area to explore more of the variety of grains, honey, snacks, etc. but I wouldn't go out of my way to come. It's a good spot if you're looking for cheaper fruits and produce, just make sure to check for quality!

*** $0.75 charge for using a credit/debit card payment *** This is a pretty interesting indoor farmers market. The market opens each day from 8 AM to 6 PM and they sell a good selection of vegetables, fruits, Asian/Indian/Mediterranean spices. Their vegetable/fruit prices are mostly cheaper than prices you'll find in typical Asian supermarkets. Downside? Flies were everywhere, but that's just a part of trade-off for having a semi-outdoor vegetable/fruit section. This market attracts a lot of local customers due to its low prices, but at the same time this is also one of the very few grocery stores that actually charge additional fees for using credit/debit cards. Overall I think pros outweigh their cons so I am still a fan of this market.

Been here a handful of times, enough times to know that getting here early in the morning is sound advice. The reason of course being the parking is relatively small, and it can get pretty packed. A full lot however is a good sign, my Asian intuition tells me. In terms of selection, whatever that was available one day may not necessarily be there for long. A pack of blueberries (16oz) for $1? A bag of red potatoes (5lbs I think) for $1.50? A whole stalk of fresh Brussel sprouts for $2? Prices and inventory fluctuate, but that's the excitement of coming here. That's right, buying groceries can be fun! The produce overall seems pretty fresh too. As with any store, some of the packaged items may have passed their best by date, so it's a good idea to check. Some ramen were a few days old. Last few times, there was a huge stack of Star Wars cereal that weren't expired but seems as if they've been in a sauna. With that said, the split between the produce section and the packaged section is a nice touch. Great varieties of snacks, cheeses and dry essentials await you. I picked up a package of dried cherries here and to my delight they turned out to be incredibly sour. From the guys stocking the items to the cashiers, everyone was busy and kind. There is a fee for using credit card though. All in all, I enjoy the trips here and will visit whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

I found this gem a few months ago and love going there. The prices are exactly what all families need now during these rough times. Please do not change the prices! I have recommended this place to several locals as well. I come back several times a week now and do my shopping. Thank you for making this a local gem with great prices and quality food. The flowers they have are beautiful as well.

Great fresh vegetables! Great deals and everything fresh, can't beat that. $50. here would be the same about $100. At Whole Foods. Little farther from LA but worth the drive for a Farmers Market. Great variety! Always great choices and deals. Parking is usually good, but sometimes gotta park on the street. Right across the street from In and Out Burger.

I love this place! Yes they are open during the pandemic. Googlemap says they're closed, but they're not! Anyways, when I'm in town, I love coming here to buy my fresh produce, plants, and seeds for my veggie garden. The only thing that I don't like about this place are the workers. They are very rude and called my friend's dad cheap when he just wanted to know if the veggies he got was on sale. Other than that, it has everything I need. Just watch out for very very ripe fruits (that's why they are cheap) so make sure you consume what you buy here ASAP. Also, be prepared for the chaos in the parking lot.

I'm sorry I haven't seen it, but since it's a produce store, better to call them directly and check.

Has anybody ever seen ume, Japanese plums, sold here?

This looked like a big ol' farm store and from the second I saw it, I was pretty darn excited. This large store features ample parking, tables outside, and a petting zoo that didn't actually have any animals, but maybe they were just inside. The shop itself is full of baked goods, clothing, drinks, and literally everything else you can usually find at a farm style store. I was super tempted to pick up a bunch of chocolate when walking around, but since it was pretty hot outside I had to settle for the farms own Orange Juice and a big fat rice crispy treat with chocolate and pretzel on top. The orange juice was OH SO refreshing on this hot day and the rice crispy treat was really good as well. Overall, The Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store is a great place to stop and pick up a few things. I really liked the two things I picked up and I can definitely see stopping back here the next time i'm in Pomona!

We were interest in seeing what they had in store, since we've never stopped by before. We parks on the grass field and walked towards the vendors first. We bought some fruits and vegetables from the student farm stand (what a steal!) and it was a great feeling knowing that we were supporting the Cal Poly Pomona students. The produce was grown and picked by the CPP students. We also were able to purchase honey from CPP; the honey was produced at the school and jarred by students. There were about 8 food trucks. After we took a walk around, we went into the farm store. It was packed with people and the line was snaked around the interior of the store. I've never seen so many varieties of tomato plants or this many people interested in purchasing plants. We didn't walk away with a tomato plant this time around, but perhaps next time. It was lovely experience.

The layout of the store was very interesting because it looked like a mini market, and they sell fresh exotic fruits and snacks. Ordering a yogurt was a bit confusing because I did not see any pricing, but they had some instructions on how to order. Step 1: Choose dry Greek yogurt. Step 2: Pick up your fresh fruits (limit 3 items). Step 3: Choose Topping (Oats, coconut chips, or boom boom pearl). Step 4: Honey or Dark Chocolate My daughter picked a small jar of Organic blue spirulina with coconut dry yogurt. Then she picked green grapes, mangos, and strawberries for her yogurt bowl. And we also picked boom boom pearl for topping, and chose honey at the end. Then the lady told me that the price was $24.08. It was pricey. I don't understand their pricing or explanation, even though I have the receipt. She told me that it took about 10-15 minutes to make it. Honestly, for the small jar of organic blue spirulina with coconut dry yogurt, it tasted a bit sour, and I was not a fan of it. The presentation of the yogurt was nice; however, for the price that we paid, it was still a bit ripped off. The fruits were fresh, and the boom boom pearl tasted like popping boba was interesting. The Greek Yogurt was a bit too thick. I would rather go to the Açaí bowl place to have more fresh fruit and a bigger portion. The lady was friendly and helpful. But I would rather go to Açaí bowl and Yogurtland combined next time. P.S. I forgot to mention that they were out of honey, so no honey in the yogurt bowl.

Now it's back and conveniently located in the spacious parking lot at Mt. SAC. As usual, there are tons of veggie vendors. There's a bread stand. There's a nut stand. There's a hummus stand. Plenty of the usual stands. But sets this market apart from others are the hidden gems between stalls. For being an early morning market, there are a ton of hot food options - I picked up two tamales from the tamale person for $4 bucks a pop. Their prices haven't been inflated by the inflation. I also saw a Mediterranean stand and I'm pretty sure there was an Asian stand of some sort. What I loved about this market was the pastry guy, unapologetically located smack dab in the center of the market. All of his pastries run around $5-$6 dollars and everything I picked up was so delicious. I bought an almond croissant, a pistachio croissant, and a ham & cheese guy - all the croissants were phenomenally flakey. I also picked up a spinach and cheese quiche which made for a nice breakfast situation. Definitely come here for the pastries. Based on my observation, everyone was here for the seafood peddler. The line for this stand snaked around the market. Pretty. good options for being such a small market.
