Good price, responsive, on time for behind the wheel sessions, my son has enjoyed his training.

I've had two of my teens come here for behind the wheel driving lessons. I also paid for car rental day of test. Instructor would come to the house to pick the student up and spend about 20 mins in the car reviewing inside the car things, such as signal lights, defrosting, windshield wipers. Instructor will do a short lesson behind the wheel driving and then accompany the student to DMV to handle all the DMV testing process before and after. All you have to do is set up your own DMV appt. read more

On February 23, 2026 12:20 pm I witnessed a Mt. Baldy View vehicle blatantly run a stop sign at the intersection of Hellman Ave. and San Bernardino Rd in Rancho Cucamonga . It also appeared that they were using a phone. Since no passenger was with them, and they turned into the Mt. Baldy View office parking lot I'm going to assume it was an employee that was breaking the law. They need to do a better job insuring their employees are adequately trained in how to operate a vehicle, not just their students. read more

I'd been scared of driving for ten years until I enrolled in Baldy View Driving School. All three drivers I had were patient, and had a genuine interest in training me to be a good driver. After 12 hours of behind the wheel training, I took my exam and aced it and felt no fear whatsoever. All my instructors were always on time and I always received a call to confirm every one of my appointments. I've gone from being terrified of driving to being obsessed with cars. Of my three instructors Rebecca was the most helpful in nurturing good driving habits. read more

1. Instructors will only teach you whatever they're feeling up to that day 2. They'll gladly show up an hour (or more) late 3. They offer services extremely early (which is fine) But the call center won't open until 10 so you better hope you don't have an issue until then 4. Will use you as an uber to stop at convenience store visits within paid time 5. Milton will disregard your peanut allergy. 6. They'll end your 2 hour lesson an hour early for no reason (no refunds) 7. Will instruct you to make unsafe maneuvers 8. If Sergio cancels on you, expect him to come anyway 9. IF they cancel and show up, and you don't do the lesson that they cancelled, you'll be given a 50$ reschedule fee 10. When your time is up, they'll have a kid drive you home while you sit in the back of the car for half an hour 11. Jess, at the call center will tell you it's all your fault, there's no refunds, and will confidently tell you that none of this is confusing at all. Where do I start. My experience has been horrible with this school. Instructors all have their own way of driving and don't follow a guideline, one will focus on an actual driving lesson, and the other will just make you worry about gas efficiency of the car the entire time. They'll show up an hour late, but you'll have no idea why your instructor isn't showing up because the call center doesn't open until 10 so you're stuck waiting wondering if they're even coming and if you lost your time and money. They will end your fully paid lesson an hour early with no money back. Will use you as an uber to go to the gas station so they can use the bathroom and buy peanut snacks to eat in the car even though you're allergic and will start getting nauseous even just from the smell of peanuts, lets just say, Milton is lucky that my allergy isn't life threatening. They'll instruct you to run yellow lights, will make you forget about yielding to traffic completely and will get mad at you if you don't comply with his unsafe maneuvers. Will call to tell you theyre not working today so forget about the lesson you scheduled for tomorrow but surprise its now 8am and they're actually in your driveway and they're about to give you a 50$ reschedule fee because they literally told you they wouldn't be coming so you didn't bother checking outside, and you don't even know what's going on because the call center doesnt even open until 10AM!!! Also prepare to have your life in the hands of young teenagers driving you home because the school told their instructors that students should just play uber because they want to fit as many customers as possible into the timeslots in one day. Jess at the Call center was extremely rude and told me I wouldn't be getting any refunds, will tell you it's all your fault and that the way they run the business is not confusing at all. EVEN THOUGH they are all completely unreliable. The only "good" thing I can write is the manager did end up rescheduling my lesson with no fee, which I shouldn't have had to even worry about in the first place. read more

Rocky did it again! My daughter passed her behind the wheel first try all thanks to ROCKY. Her very dirt behind the wheel lesson the instructor fell asleep. The second behind the wheel instructor refused to take my daughter on the freeway plus she also took her to a neighborhood with nice house and proceeded to tell my kid that since we were from the desert we would never be able to afford a home like that. I called the office after that to make sure on her third lesson she had the best instructor and they assigned her Rocky. He was very professional and pleasant and prepared my daughter to pass. She went in confident all thanks to him. Rocky needs a raise after reading all his positive review, without him I think this company would be in trouble. My sister had an appointment for driving test with milton, and Luisa are the worst instructors and he came 20 minutes late where the test was supposed to be at 8:40 AM in Rancho DMV ,and he didn't go over the test with her and just told her verbally what to do in the test .Anyway she walke to take her test and the lady said her permit was supposed to be signed by her parents okay I understand that was supposed to be the dmv fault to tell her that her parents had to sign it kn the first place but how the fuck the instructor are not supposed to check that it was supposed to be signed !???? read more

This school does not return phone messages. Several times in the past month I left messages and would not receive calls back for days or ever. The instructor would fall a sleep during behind the wheel instruction. The instructor did not give correct instructions. He did not advise my daughter if she was not ready or ready for the driving test. DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILD AT RISK WHILE HE SLEEPS IN THE CAR. My daughter had a new instructor today to take her driving test. Thank god. Finally someone that takes the responsibility serious and is very professional. His name was Rocky. As of right now they should have no stars!! We had a 430 apt on a Saturday and someone leaves a message at 420 saying the instructor called in sick and no session today! Who calls 10 min before an apt. So rude and does not care about anyone's else's time. But if you can't make a session they want a 24hr cancellation notice! I had a great experience with this driving school, the instructors ( forgot their names ) were very friendly, helpful, patient, kept the atmosphere in the car very calm as it helped eased my anxiety from the past driving experience I had with another driving school prior. We drove all over Rancho Cucamonga, took the freeway, learned all the different driving techniques that I would be tested on for the behind the wheel test. Midway throughout our time driving together, the instructor would ask me if there's anything I'd like to improve on, so I can dedicate some time to fixing any issue I still felt uncomfortable on. At the end of the lesson, the instructor gave me constructive criticism on how my driving was, gave me tips to improve on before we met again. I learned a lot, felt like I was in good hands, and I finally felt comfortable driving with confidence because I knew my areas of weakness and strengths. The criticism I received from the instructors helped me pass my behind-the-wheel test! I'd recommend to anyone to check this place out! read more

I attended Baldy View 100 years ago when I was learning to drive. Ok, 24 years ago, but it feels like a lifetime ago. I passed everything on my first try. So, I knew that when my oldest needed to start his courses, that I would be returning to Baldy View. I am so glad we did! The registration process was so easy and they worked with us to spread out his behind the wheel time to best prepare him for his DMV test. His instructors were on time and helpful. They took him on the routes he would take with Rancho DMV and he also passed everything on his very first try. I highly recommend Baldy View Driving School! My child had her first day of driving school and just told me that the driving instructor told the class that what happened to George Floyd would not have happened if he would have complied.... How do I handle this ? I'm truly at a loss for words because he has no right to talk about such issues and make some of these KIDS feel so isolated The money I paid was for state mandated drivers ed ... NOT an ill advised appraisal of the tragic loss of ones life . I'm so sad and upset and can't believe this man would polarize his business in such a way Just want to make others aware so they do not subject their children to this environment . This long overdue. I took classes with them in March of this year. I am an adult who is scared of driving, im in my kate 30s. In all honesty this is my second attempt to learn how to drive. Millie is a great instructor, she is calm, and gives you tips a long. She helped me practice my backing and parking as those are my weakest. I paid for a class on April 1st. Scheduled appointment on April 9 and the clerk tells me that their first available appointment was for May 27th. On April 12, 3 DAYS after making an appointment, I tried cancelling and asking for a refund. The same clerk answers the phone and claimed that she informed me (during the phone call) that the fees are non-refundable and that there is a $30 cancellation fee. WHAT??? That doesn't make sense! Clearly she's lying because if it was not refundable there wouldn't be a cancellation fee....duh!! I'm not willing to argue with what was said so I ask, "where in your website does it say that fees are non-refundable and that there is a cancellation fee." She starts to look....and can't find it. Why?!! IT WAS NEVER THERE!!.....Take my advise.....take your business elsewhere. Untrustworthy business. not worth the hassle. read more

DO NOT USE THIS DRIVING SCHOOL. This driving school is so inconsistent. If you choose to use, make sure your child does NOT get Mr. Joe, he fell asleep during my daughter's driving lessons SEVERAL, yelled and belittled her, and slammed on the break in the middle of the street to tell her something about the car, and his car was filthy. I've spoken to countless other mothers who have used this driving school since and every single one of them who had Mr. Joe said their child came home in tears. My daughter got two other instructors for her other lessons and they were on their phones majority of her lesson and told her contradicting things about her test. Still, they were better than Joe though. This is a last resort school. read more

I would never use this company again. My daughter had her second behind the wheel yesterday. The instructor was very nice but my daughter said they went back to the office for her to grab paperwork and she was gone for 10 min. She left her in the car alone. I called today, not super upset but more like I would like to be made aware next time. The guy (Fernando) was so rude. He didn't care at all. He said, every two hours they are allowed to take a break and the parking lot is safe. I told him, I was not comfortable with that and he said, if I'm not safe with his company I am to go somewhere else. He then cancel her next appointment. I'm beyond upset. Don't go here. read more

It was hard choosing a driver's ed that has a package of both in-class and behind the wheel. I called several companies to get more info that I didn't find online. Some sounded like they didn't know much about where they work and some just answered my question in one word answers, didn't tell me more than what I needed to know. I must say calling Baldy View, they had great customer service on the phone. Very friendly and explained every detail I needed to know other than checking for pricing. She explained every detail thoroughly which made my decision very easy I am happy and nervous for my 16 year old to start driver's ed at Baldy View! read more

Im in my 30's & have had a hard time learning to drive my whole life but Rebecca made it possible today that I passed my test with a near perfect score, only missing one. I purchased the 3 lesson pack & luckily got Rebecca on my first lesson. She made me feel confident behind the wheel, is concise/methodical in her teaching & build up my skill to where 6 months later I have my license. Shes also very sweet & really fun to chat with. She even called me today to see how my driving test went & was so happy for me. She goes above & beyond. Rebecca is a very special lady & im SO glad I got her. What a GEM. Side note - I got Millie on my second driving lesson & if I had gotten her on my first lesson, I would have asked to cancel my other lessons. For starters Millie has a very thick, possibly spanish accent & it was hard for me to understand her. Second she is tacky, unprofessional & a racist. She was making racist comments about Asian drivers out of nowhere. Im not Asian but my husband & daughter are. She didn't know that. My Dentist recommended Baldy View Driving School and I'm so glad he did. I paid for the 6 Hours behind the wheel lessons for my son who's 16. His first 2 hour lesson was with Milton and my son and I were very impressed with him because of the great training that he provided. My son was already a pretty good driver and Milton made his driving experience even better. Luckily we were able to have Milton as his instructor for his second lesson as well and I'm keeping my fingers crossed hoping that my son will have Milton when he does his third lesson. Absolutely horrible service. My son scheduled three driving lessons on June 20th: August 11-13. It made sense that they had late appointments because of COVID, so we settled. Right after the call, the school responded and saying they had a canceled class today and that they could take my son. So now, he had two classes left. The August 11th class went well. Then around August 11th, we had a family obligation and had to cancel the class tomorrow. On August 13th, the last class, no one came. When we called, the incompetent front lady at the front named Jess gave the explanation that "why would we keep a spot for you?" rather than apologizing for canceling the third class and offering a warranted explanation. Now, we are forced to not only have to hassle with the dmv to reschedule a class but also deal with my son's expiring driving permit. Don't go here, just pay up the extra $20 to go to another place who can actually pay for people who know how to schedule an appointment. read more

I called the school and inquired on this one review and the woman who answered the phone assured me that one employee was fired immediately. She was very patient and thorough on answering my questions. I was very happy with our driving instructor Milly.
