We could have not asked for a better experience with West Coast Driving School and our instructor, Martin. Since my daughter is 18, she wasn't required to do the behind the wheel training but she opted to do it anyways to ensure she was 100% confident come the day of her test. We did a few Driving training days and then the 2 hours of driving on the actual test day around the DMV and used their vehicle for the driving test. My daughter had struggled to pass her permit test (failed 3 times to be exact ) so obviously she was very nervous when it came to taking her driving test. Martin trained her so well and ensured her confidence was at an all time high that she passed her driving test with flying colors and on her FIRST TRY! We absolutely recommend West Coast Driving School and although the rest of my kiddos have quite a few years ahead of them before they start driving, I will absolutely be using them for all of our driving training needs. read more

Amazing Driving school! Needed to pass my behind the wheel test, but also needed a car for it - other schools had either weird prices for lessons or packages very unclear + no cars for the test! This school was amazing in everything! I called them (because their site had some issues providing me prices) - they gave me full price list, closest open dates for the lessons and we exchanged our information + we agreed on the payment method (very flexible). Martin is a great instructor! He was very patient with me, gave me great tips and tricks and after couple of lessons I was ready to pass the test. Best part is - Martin scheduled the test date and applied for me, I didn't have to do anything. On the test date we drove around the testing area and I passed. 10/10 experience! My dad found out about this school 6 months ago. I had 3 driving lessons with Gabby. She was very nice, helpful, and patient. She did an amazing job at teaching me as well as providing additional feedback! She also gave me several advice and clear answers to all of my questions. I want to thank my fellow yelpers for helping me find West Coast Driving School! I decided to give it a go especially because I didn't appreciate the other driving school I had paid for my oldest daughter a couple yrs ago (won't post the business name)! My oldest didn't recommend we go with them again for her little sis! Initial contact was made with Martin...he was so warm, yet professional and helpful! So my daughter tells me her Permit is about to expire soon so I go into panic mode and ask Martin to pls book her appointment as soon as possible! He had great communication from the start. I sent him a pic of my daughters permit and he reassured me her permit is good and doesn't expire so there's no need to book back 2 back classes on weekdays due to his schedule being fully booked for the weekends! I was so relieved! We went with the 6hr behind the wheel instruction! He is so awesome he picked my daughter up from her school on her 1st appointment but we easily adjusted to pick up at our house since traffic at DRHS is ridiculous and is cutting into her instruction! Texting him was a breeze! Love how he came to our house each time to pick my daughter up and dropped her back home after! I could see the huge improvement in my daughter's driving confidence after each lesson! He took my daughter on the freeway and made her feel so comfortable! There is so much good feedback!! My daughter Victoria completed her 6 hours of behind the wheel drivers training with West Coast Driving School. We are beyond pleased with their services. The vehicle was clean and equipped with a gas and break pedal on the passenger side. Which gave Victoria peace of mind since she was still nervous about driving at night, merging on the freeway and driving during rush hour traffic. Gabby was her amazing instructor. Gabby had great communication and a very flexible schedule. Just returning home from my teen son's driving exam -- with a LICENSED recipient! Ms.Gabby did a great job getting him prepared for his test. When we had him start his behind the wheel time we gave him no prior training and she got him in the driver's seat and on yhe road within mere minutes of his first lesson. He said she was super patient and thorough, always giving good direction and feedback. We even booked some additional lessons because I was having a challenging time teaching him backing in and parking techniques (some can do but not teach ha ha), and she was able to help him make the connections and learn with ease.
