Joe came out, took a look what was going on, and gave me an estimate that was identical in scope but half the price of another estimate we received so we opted to go with Eames and Sons. Joe was fantastic to work with and kept me up-to-date on scheduling of the entire process, from dropping off a trailer for the old roofing materials, dropping off the new materials, the actual day of work, etc. The Eames and Sons crew came out, did the work in a single day, and then Joe came out the next day for an inspection. Joe noticed some of the work wasn't up to the Eames and Sons standards, so he had someone from the crew come back out and redo it and then came back out the same day to check on the work again. I also noticed that some of the mortar between bricks near some of the work seemed to now be missing and he came back out on his own time to fill in the gap. Eames and Sons, and specifically Joe, definitely went out of their way to make sure our roof was perfect and that I no longer needed to worry about the leak we found. This was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend others use Eames and Sons for their roofing needs. EDIT: I noticed some damage to a window screen after the dump trailer was moved away. Joe fixed the screen himself and sent someone else out to take care of some of the metal around the window as well. Eames and Sons has gone above and beyond what I expected and they have set a very high bar for any work that gets done around our house in the future.

They did not account for the 3-story height of the home as they threw shingles off and they landed on my newly powder coated (offsite) front steps all the way to my front door, and on a brand new deck and new patio table and chairs. I'm writing today because I noticed my painted metal patio table and chairs that were all scratched as a result of flying metal and shingles (as was my newly painted front railing) are showing premature wear as a result. My sandstone steps also had black marks from landing shingles. When I spoke to them about all the debris and damage they all but suggested it wasn't their fault. They asked me to email photos which I did and never heard back. I was too upset to pursue any further action at the time. One thing they did do was show up the next day unannounced and started sanding the black marks off my front sandstone steps. When you see the photos keep in mind they were working next door not at my home!!

They started the gutter cleaning and he showed me the pictures of in-completed work on my chimney, a lot of cements on my gutter, the hanging gutter on chimney side, and the damage on the left side of my window from the rain since my gutter was loosed. I was upset to see the damage and feel disappointed with Chimnee Cricket and Matt gained my trust. He told me that he could fix all of these problems and finish on the same day. I agreed to fix all of those problems as winter is coming and I need to protect my house. Matt told me that he didn't feel so well. I gave him water, hot tea and snack, and he took the rest from time to time. He worked till around 2:30 pm, then he told me that his material for fixing run out. He suggested to put leave filter on my gutter guard, which he can buy it together when he go to HomeDepot to buy more material. However, he claimed that he didn't have enough money and asked me to pay him in full, so he could finish the work. I paid him in full and he didn't come back. I called him several times and he finally showed up around 9:00 pm. He told me that he was sick and he promised to finish his job on Sun 12/14 at 2-3 pm. He didn't showed up, I called him several times on Sun 12/14 and he finally called me back at 10:00pm and told me that he would finished the job on Mon 12/15. He didn't showed up at all on Mon 12/15. I called him several times and he didn't answer the phone at all. I contacted HomeAdvisor and he called me Wed 12/17 and told me that his phone was broken and he couldn't called me because he lost all his contact names. We scheduled a time on Thur 12/17 at 7:45 am and I waited for him till 9:00 am, he didn't show up. After I contacted HomeAdvisor on Thur 12/17, I got his message that he didn't show up because his car was broken. I paid a lot of money to hire two professional contractor to fix my chimney and my gutter but I was cheated twice. I didn't have any money left to fix the problems and even if I had money, it's too late. Winter's here, everything is covered with snow.

We had 3 companies address our…read moreroof leak - 1 wanted to replace the entire roof that has at least 5-10 years left, a chimney repair company said the chimney and flashing look great but they can seal the brick just in case, the third company, Ohio Roofing, was the only company that took time to address the leak and look in the attic where the leak was coming from. Their crew found numerous problems that were never addressed in the past and did a thorough roof/chimney repair to resolve the leaking roof. I called the company on 5/5, 5/6, 8/19/25(Twice). No Communication From AllPhase. On 8/27/25 I paid another roofing company $325.00 to seal blow out patches (you can see from the pictures-why would there be so many blow out patches on a New Roof) and a third roofing company $538.07 on 8/29/25 to fix the failing termination bar. All after paying AllPhase $8,792.52 for a new roof. Roof assessment attached. At lease five different roofing professionals stated the flat rubber roof was not installed correctly and should not have mutliple placed blow out patches. A new roof should not be failing within a year! I filed a BBB complaint on 10/14/25. Heard absolutely nothing from AllPhase until 4/1/2026 from Michael Slusher a new general manager with Allphase he viewed roof on 4/2/26 advised BBB this work is terrible & embarrassing and AllPhase will make right with Mrs Jackson 100%. (I have copy of all communications from emails, texts and phone conversations). He gave me his personal phone number, answered the phone & returned calls, very kind. He got the roof permit pulled with the City of Columbus. Then on May 13, 2026 he informed me that he was fired by AllPhase on Monday 11,2026. A subcontractor come out on 5/26/2026 to assess the roof. Since 5/26/2026 I have made multiple calls to Jim Farris, new general manager, Sierra Turner, Administrative Officer and Michael Kuss, Contruction Company Owner/subcontractor and only told someone will call me. No Further Communication from AllPhase to me. No new roof. No Reimbursement. Remember, I also have a 5 year warrenty.

I have seen many negative reviews of Mystic Creek over the last years and feel it is time for an honest update. Our current manager Jackie is hard working and has turned this apt.complex into a good living experience. I disliked the impersonal, rigid, almost threatening management style at my former residence. I prefer the friendly, relaxed attitude here at Mystic Creek. All apt. complexes have some problems but Jackie does her best to address residents' issues and goes out of her way to be helpful and make life easier for residents. The majority of apartments here have been gutted and renovated with stylish quality along with many overall upgrades. The halls were recently recarpeted, repainted and decorated in a lovely contemporary style and the elevator refurbished. The laundry rooms were also updated. The parking lot was repaved and a new roof put on bldg. A (one of two blogs.) The rent is fair according to market pricing. The drug problems vanished with dealers banished! I love the scenic location/beauty next to Big Creek-Metroparks. I am looking forward to signing another long term lease.
