The lack of professional support and responsiveness alone from my experience is enough for me not to recommend this company. If you are going to use this company I highly suggest you sign a contract with them designating a realistic time frame for work to be completed. In June 2021 I signed a contract, and paid a deposit. I was told work was a month out. In July the workers caught Covid and delayed until August. Then in August my windows and doors(all standard sizes) were damaged during delivery, work to be done now in September. September they were now behind because of heavy rains, work to begin in early October. October arrives, I call early October and was told work will start mid November. NOV 12th, I called again asking for the start day due to my schedule, only to circle back around with the excuse employees catching Covid and being delayed again. Excuse after excuse after excuse. In the meantime a new FB post of jobs completed appears weekly online. For me this was a complete waste of time dealing with Renovation Systems and now I am back to square one with calling contractors attempting to complete now in Spring 2022.

It took several months to get our siding delivered. And then once it was delivered the order was not complete. Also, the crew employed by Renovation Systems did not know how to install the siding. We were told the siding would be installed within 2 days. It took over 4 days. Also, the quality of the work was sub-standard and another individual had to come out to correct the deficiencies which included the molding around the windows as well as install the light fixtures back on to the house the crew did not do. The artifical brick was installed by another 2 man crew. This work was also unacceptable. As it was now going into late Fall it was agreed to correct this work the following Spring. This Spring we noticed several rows of siding had fallen off the house. We contacted Renovation Systems about this and they quickly reattached the siding. However, they have not returned; after numerous calls and promises to do so, to correct the brick work. We also have not received the guarantee for the siding. Now the lead contact person; Jonathan Grinko, does not respond to our calls. Renovation Sysems is full of promises and excuses. We understand why it took so long to get the siding to us. But once we received it it was one problem after another. The non-English speaking crew was also not always supervised. If we needed a question answered we had to wait for the supervisor to return. We agree with the complaint by Joe S. Renovation Systems does not have proper customer service or quality workmanship.

Shortly after, the technician (Jeff) called me back extremely upset, claiming we were "bugging" them, and stated that the owner instructed him to cancel our job and process a full refund. I explained that this was our first phone call today to management and we were simply looking for a timeline since we hadn't heard back all weekend. But he refused to listen, claimed he told us to wait until Monday (which is not in our call recordings or my notes), and canceled the service. Very unprofessional conduct. We suspect this company is discriminatory due to us not sounding like we are from the area and being based out of state. We also paid for our job, but have yet to receive a full refund.

I went on the roof with him and he noticed damage in some areas. My insurance company sent out one of their inspectors and he noted the damage. As always my insurance company nickel and dimed the situation to do the bare minimum of repairs. The Restoration Guys know what they are doing, they got me a full roof replacement . It took some time and some fighting with my insurance company, but they guided me through the process and in the end the whole roof was replaced for just the cost of my $1,000 deductible. Joe came out, took a look what was going on, and gave me an estimate that was identical in scope but half the price of another estimate we received so we opted to go with Eames and Sons. Joe was fantastic to work with and kept me up-to-date on scheduling of the entire process, from dropping off a trailer for the old roofing materials, dropping off the new materials, the actual day of work, etc. The Eames and Sons crew came out, did the work in a single day, and then Joe came out the next day for an inspection. Joe noticed some of the work wasn't up to the Eames and Sons standards, so he had someone from the crew come back out and redo it and then came back out the same day to check on the work again. I also noticed that some of the mortar between bricks near some of the work seemed to now be missing and he came back out on his own time to fill in the gap. Eames and Sons, and specifically Joe, definitely went out of their way to make sure our roof was perfect and that I no longer needed to worry about the leak we found. This was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend others use Eames and Sons for their roofing needs. EDIT: I noticed some damage to a window screen after the dump trailer was moved away. Joe fixed the screen himself and sent someone else out to take care of some of the metal around the window as well. Eames and Sons has gone above and beyond what I expected and they have set a very high bar for any work that gets done around our house in the future.

I was asked if there would be a significant other attending sales pitch meeting and I politely indicated I'm a single mom and will make the final decision myself. Yet, I understood the reason behind the inquiry and had no problems with it. The sales guy was straight to the point didn't really try to sell me the product just provided information regarding the product and answered questions I had accordingly. Which I was grateful for! He let me know that there would be about an 8-week fabrication Lead time which I was fine with. The windows did end up ready for installation within that time frame. Empire graciously set the installation date according to my schedule. And I can't rave enough about the three person team who came out and completed the install. Dave and his crew were on time, addressed my concern about placing down floor protection- which they had already anticipated. They were knowledgeable with the product and how to install the windows and the back patio door. Hard consistent workers, there was no downtime during the install. the framework after the bay window was removed was done very professionally and looks amazing. They answered my questions professionally and didn't make me feel stupid for asking very simple questions at times. I cant say enough about this crew, I hope they see this review and see how appreciative this single mom is. The garage needed new vinyl siding on the back side and exposed wood was enclosed and covered with aluminum. Gutters were installed on the garage that never had gutters before. I'm very pleased with the finished product on both structures. Installers were very nice, especially Joe who completed the garage extras. Cleanup was done very well and they took care with the surrounding areas covering everything up with tarps. Pricing was fair.
