Joe came out, took a look what was going on, and gave me an estimate that was identical in scope but half the price of another estimate we received so we opted to go with Eames and Sons. Joe was fantastic to work with and kept me up-to-date on scheduling of the entire process, from dropping off a trailer for the old roofing materials, dropping off the new materials, the actual day of work, etc. The Eames and Sons crew came out, did the work in a single day, and then Joe came out the next day for an inspection. Joe noticed some of the work wasn't up to the Eames and Sons standards, so he had someone from the crew come back out and redo it and then came back out the same day to check on the work again. I also noticed that some of the mortar between bricks near some of the work seemed to now be missing and he came back out on his own time to fill in the gap. Eames and Sons, and specifically Joe, definitely went out of their way to make sure our roof was perfect and that I no longer needed to worry about the leak we found. This was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend others use Eames and Sons for their roofing needs. EDIT: I noticed some damage to a window screen after the dump trailer was moved away. Joe fixed the screen himself and sent someone else out to take care of some of the metal around the window as well. Eames and Sons has gone above and beyond what I expected and they have set a very high bar for any work that gets done around our house in the future.

Prior to receiving these other quotes, we called the office to ask about financing or if there was an incentive to pay in cash. The call was never even returned. The estimate was free, so no real loss on our end. Disappointed nonetheless. Edit: Since I cannot respond to the company's response, I will do so here. I have read the Ohio mask mandate, thank you, and your snarky response is unhelpful. It's not about the mask mandate, it's about common courtesy. More specifically, the lack thereof. Furthermore, temperature checks are only helpful if a person is showing symptoms. Asymptomatic spread is a concern, thus the mask my fiancé wore as a courtesy to your employee. Per my fiancé, whom I believe more than a random person, we were not given any options for shingles other than pattern and color. We did request a quote for new gutters not because ours are in bad shape, but because the previous owner had painted them, and we want them replaced. The gutters were not on the quote we received, so that does not explain the drastic difference in price between quotes. Lastly, we received zero return calls from your company, or anyone claiming to represent your company, other than one after we made the original call to ask about financing or incentive to pay cash. That call back was someone telling us that the gentleman who was at our house had not returned back to the office, so financial talks would have to wait. No follow up after that. Take care.

Unfortunately, he did not fulfill what we agreed on. I paid over $12,000, and the work was left incomplete. The units were not rent-ready, debris and trash were left throughout the property, and key items we discussed were never finished. The photos I attached show only part of the condition he left the property in. After receiving payment, Larry stopped responding and ultimately blocked me instead of taking accountability or addressing the issues. As a property owner who relied on clear communication and trust, this was extremely disappointing and costly. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend hiring someone else if you are considering renovating a property. This contractor was unreliable, unresponsive, and did not deliver the agreed-upon work.
