The furniture is fabulous! They have a great selection of paints, stencils, handles, knobs and pulls and more for furniture makeovers. They also have plenty of art throughout the shop. Resin art and mixed media were plentiful and they teach classes on various mediums. My friend wants lessons on resin art. I picked up a whimsical pull for a piece of furniture at home- the knob had broken off a few months ago, so I was so happy to replace it with something fun and my style. Tiff grabbed a couple of Christmas gifts and a schedule for classes. On the furniture side, I was very interested in a couple of pieces, but there weren't price tags and I wondered if they were more for those doing classes or if they were sold outright. The gallery also features Melodye's work and as much as I tried not to acquire more art, I could not resist purchasing one of her pieces. Thom & Melodye are a wealth of information about the artists history and background to certain pieces they have acquired in their many travels. This is a great addition to the Arts in St. Augustine and I look forward to returning to this gallery.

I'll tell you about Jolan Gamblin, Jill Hunter and Gail Husveth first. They are great. I took their picture (which is with my review). They told me about how great it is to be a part of the Gallery and also hooked me up with another multi-media art group where I can pursue more with my art skills (yeah!) excited! What a great place! They have beautiful paintings, sculptures, and a variety of other things like jewelry and beautiful stained glass window decorations. I bought a beautiful one for myself. The shop is right next to the St Augustine pier so it's right on the beach! Awesome! What a great place to just stop by when you are at the farmer's market or getting some tan-on while enjoying the beach. You can park in the pier parking lot and look for them right next to the pavilion on the north side. A little touch and go to find, but they are tucked in right next to the water. If you really can't find them just look for the fire trucks on the street just north of the pier parking lot, follow that side road to the end, take a right and you are at the gallery. But there isn't really much parking there, so try and get a spot in the big lot. But the gallery is definitely worth the work. There is street parking or on one of the side streets and walk in. The scene is great, so it's all good. I am an Ancient City Poet and we are placing our books at the gallery for April National Poetry Month. My new book, "A While Away" is going to be there during April. Come by and check it out! They are a numbered, limited edition run of 100 and once they are gone, they're gone. It has colored photos of my artwork, photography and, of course, my poetry.

The prices are very reasonable for the quality and considering it's a unique shop located in a state park. Purchasing gifts here helps preserve the park and grounds- so every purchase supports local artists, American jobs, and American history.

I struck gold this weekend though! Gift shop was open and the plant sale was going! This little cottage feel gift shop is a gem to shop! Walking in the front door there is a fireplace to the left to greet you. I was pleasantly surprised to see a huge tree of life wall art piece- one that I have hanging in my dining room! Great focal piece. The front of the store is filled to the brim with glass art, jewelry, wall art and more! As you go through the hallways- more wall art! Dip into various rooms for pottery, glass and wood art. The back room to the right has more traditional State Park items- shits, hats, patches, magnets. The rest of the store is art! There were several booths that definitely had high-quality well designed items. When you walk in, there is a receptionist person, but each booth does not have the artist there so it appears that they just set it up and leave Some items were very fair priced and some items I felt were A bit high. I was told by somebody outside in another store of the mall that next Saturday they're supposed to have a huge event With outdoor vendors and many other things to choose from. It's about a 45 minute drive for us so I'm not sure that I would go back.
