He was rude and didn't explain a thing while he was entering the information into his computer. Instead of actively helping me with my taxes and where I could save money or pay less taxes, he just performed data entry in front of me. Also his demeanor was less than professional and condescending when I explained the documents I gave to him. The tone was rude and not what I'd expected. I also am a new business owner and when I asked about the taxes related to my business he promptly interrupted me and told me I had no real business and people just go around saying they own a business when they don't. I didn't understand & told him I'd made actual sales- which makes me a business owner. I want to make sure everything is done by the books. Either way, there are many write offs he could have helped provide me for my business but he never did. Not sure if he just doesn't know what he's doing or likely, he doesn't care. I'm going to look into another accountant that will actually help me instead of one that charges upwards of $400 to watch him do data entry & treat you disrespectfully. I'd recommend looking into other accountants and not wasting your time and hard earned money here. I was a loyal customer for years, but not anymore. If he doesn't want/need my business then that is fine with me.

I spent approximately an hour on the phone explaining my business, operations, and the level of bookkeeping assistance I needed. Dee assured me that they could support my business and mentioned she had been doing this for a long time, which gave me confidence to move forward. On June 25, she requested my bank statements, profit statements, and a detailed explanation of my business. I spent another hour gathering the requested documents and walking her through everything in detail after spending her an email. She told me she would review the information and get back to me with a quote. After not hearing back, I followed up by email on June 26 and received no response. A few days later, I called and left a voicemail requesting an update again, no response. I called once more on June 30 and still did not receive a response. I'm disappointed that I invested so much time explaining my business and sharing sensitive financial information, only to be completely ignored afterward. Even if they decided they weren't the right fit, a simple courtesy response would have been the professional thing to do. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm. The lack of communication and professionalism resulted in a significant waste of my time.

I have nothing good to say about this company, I paid them of 20k to reduce my tax situation and in…read more4 years they deceived me, failed to submit my 2023 tax and never presented me with a plan to resolve my tax issues. They never reached out to me, I had to contact them for an update and when they did give an update they could never provide me a concrete plan for resolution, and the deception continued until I contacted the IRS tax advocate office and found out this company had been deceiving me. I would strongly recommend that you avoid the tax advocate group. they created a mess for me. There were excellent at not taking ownership for their flaws. I have asked for a partial refund but the company is avoiding my request for reimbursement.
