When I arrived at Lenox, you simply walked up and ordered your coffee before being sat at a table. There were visible menus for the coffee options and it was easy to order. I went with the Haitian Mocha Latte and it absolutely was everything I want my coffee to be. The first sip was smooth and bold at the same time: deep, slightly earthy Haitian coffee layered with a mellow chocolate note that didn't overpower, just quietly lingered. The brown sugar softened everything, adding this warm, almost caramel-like sweetness that wrapped around the espresso instead of sitting on top of it. I don't typically get iced coffees often because I don't want my coffee watered down, but even the ice didn't stand a chance of messing up this golden cup of delight. The latte remained silky throughout the entire drinking experience. It tasted like a slow moment in the middle of a busy day--cool, comforting, and just a little bit luxurious. I can't wait to come back!

I went with their mango matcha latte since it was a seasonal item. The drink was super yummy and well balanced with it not being overly sweet. The freeze dried mangos were a nice touch and the matcha flavor was very strong. The customer service was exceptional. The baristas were very sweet and had great suggestions. I really like that in place of accepting tips, they donate to Haitian non-profits.

It's a nostalgic place for me. It truly feels like the clean and safe part of Seattle when inside. The vibe of the venders, tourists, scents in the air and hustle bustle make for the sweetest people watching. I always buy something. It can be spendy for some thing but it is supporting local businesses. Ok usually I hit up a flower stand and buy produce. On my recent pass through I bought chocolate. I will always find an excuse to support the market and enjoy the vibes along the way. Now I'm ready to go back!!

Pike Place is a massive food hall, craft market, and farmers' market. You can find just about anything in Pike Place. It is truly an amazingly magical spot, and there is nothing quite like it. You could spend days roaming through Pike Place and eating all of the amazing things each vendor, restaurant, and bakery has to offer. It's a Yelpers paradise! The selection is unmatched. The value is great. The service is prime. I think you could easily stay within a $100 budget for a family and feed everyone for the whole day in Pike Place Market. A day at Pike Place is not a day wasted, and no matter how many times you've been, you're sure to find something new.

The Homie and I decided to check them out in the Ballard/Shilshoe area on a warm summer evening (7/6/24). I was able to score a parking spot out front of Secret Congee which is sheer luck with Ray's and Un Bien nearby. I placed an order for the BBQ set for 2 ($65) which included grilled Thai sausage, grilled whole/halved poussin chicken, grilled 12oz skirt steak over special Thai charcoal which imparted a distinct flavor. Our container also was accompanied with spicy clam dip, sticky rice, tamarind BBQ sauce, fresh herbs, and a quarter wedge of fresh cabbage. Generous servings for two! Delicious flavors, cool breeze dining al fresco, great convo with the owners, and even a special treat of Thai Tea Tres Leches cake from San Bartolo Bakeshop. It was nice to see others dining onsite or placing orders as takeout. Passersby from the neighborhood or from visiting nearby Golden Gardens were pausing for brief convos and aromatic scents. Yes, we started the day up north at our fave BBQ in Marysville. Wrapped up a pleasant, albeit toasty evening, by checking out Siam BBQ. This brother duo has the winning formula for tasty dining spots. Come support local, indie, and family run. Great addition to the summer pop up scene!
