The wooden wick produces a nice light flicker and slight crackle. The clean wax burns evenly. The recycled glass container is easy to clean and re-purpose after the candle is done. I use the clean and empty glass for all kinds of things - pens and pencils, herb containers, catchalls, tablescape decorations, and even elevated gifts for others. Whether we are talking about marketplace candles, or the newer perfume lines, the scents are sophisticated and delicious. Some of my favorite S&T products are the holiday lines, like the Fall 2023 skeleton candles in pumpkin chai, the Holiday/Christmas greenery scents (this year with a G&T inspired offering!), and the just released winter perfume candle called après ski. I have gotten so many compliments on my S&T La Mia Muse silk scarf and furoshiki wraps, and I cannot wait for colder temps, so that I can slip in to the luxurious unisex après ski holiday sweatshirt. Highly recommend. Excited to see what new things Desiree, Michaela, and their team dream up for us! Please join me in supporting this planet friendly, women-owned, small business.

It still has that Seattle waterfront feel, but they're a lot more open seating areas outside to enjoy the scenery, the weather and your food. We love coming here and looking through all the shops, tasting the various food options available, looking at all the beautiful flowers that they're selling. And all the little gift ideas from all the vendors. Our favorite spot is to watch the seafood areas, throw fish around and chant while they do so. It's such a staple to see this in action when you're visiting Pike place market. Don't forget to look for all of the pigs in the market area. There's one that's hiding somewhere and then there's two that sit on the corner right in front of the fish market area. I always suggest going in hungry and just trying different foods from different areas because all the food there are a delicious. This small little area connects you down to the waterfront which has the aquarium. Beware of those stairs as they can get tiresome. But the view from the top of Pike place market down to the water is beautiful. There is not a spot that you cannot capture a beautiful site.

Even though it was crowded!! Workers were very nice and helpful and made suggestions for local places to eat! I will say that being from Texas where prices are moderate made the prices look exorbitantly high for some things! I'm not paying $68 for a beanie. Sorry! $8 for half dozen donuts and $15 for large mac and cheese was worth the experience!

The Homie and I decided to check them out in the Ballard/Shilshoe area on a warm summer evening (7/6/24). I was able to score a parking spot out front of Secret Congee which is sheer luck with Ray's and Un Bien nearby. I placed an order for the BBQ set for 2 ($65) which included grilled Thai sausage, grilled whole/halved poussin chicken, grilled 12oz skirt steak over special Thai charcoal which imparted a distinct flavor. Our container also was accompanied with spicy clam dip, sticky rice, tamarind BBQ sauce, fresh herbs, and a quarter wedge of fresh cabbage. Generous servings for two! Delicious flavors, cool breeze dining al fresco, great convo with the owners, and even a special treat of Thai Tea Tres Leches cake from San Bartolo Bakeshop. It was nice to see others dining onsite or placing orders as takeout. Passersby from the neighborhood or from visiting nearby Golden Gardens were pausing for brief convos and aromatic scents. Yes, we started the day up north at our fave BBQ in Marysville. Wrapped up a pleasant, albeit toasty evening, by checking out Siam BBQ. This brother duo has the winning formula for tasty dining spots. Come support local, indie, and family run. Great addition to the summer pop up scene!
