I literally fell in love at first sip. A friend had been anxious to get me to visit Lenox with her and when she sent me the notification that Bonhomie was doing a pop up there, it was an immediate hell yeah from me. When I arrived at Lenox, you simply walked up and ordered your coffee before being sat at a table. There were visible menus for the coffee options and it was easy to order. I went with the Haitian Mocha Latte and it absolutely was everything I want my coffee to be. The first sip was smooth and bold at the same time: deep, slightly earthy Haitian coffee layered with a mellow chocolate note that didn't overpower, just quietly lingered. The brown sugar softened everything, adding this warm, almost caramel-like sweetness that wrapped around the espresso instead of sitting on top of it. I don't typically get iced coffees often because I don't want my coffee watered down, but even the ice didn't stand a chance of messing up this golden cup of delight. The latte remained silky throughout the entire drinking experience. It tasted like a slow moment in the middle of a busy day--cool, comforting, and just a little bit luxurious. This was a damn good hojicha from a coffee place. The house syrups were delicious sounding and I wanted to try them but I am allergic to coffee beans, so I was happy to see they had hojicha too. The barista gave a great rec for which tea drinks each syrup was best in, which was very helpful to me. The drinks came out quick and honestly, if I hadn't had to go to work, I would have sat down for a few minutes to enjoy the gatsby coffee shop vibes. I'll def be back! read more

This coffee shop inside of the Labour Temple is so beautiful! The coffee at Bonhomie is great. They didn't have very many food options, and we weren't able to get our coffee in a mug, only a to-go cup, which is why I took off a star. I visited Bonhomie at their latest pop up at Be Here Now. Their drinks are Haitian inspired and very unique from what is typically offered such as their plantain latte (which I want to try next time!) I went with their mango matcha latte since it was a seasonal item. The drink was super yummy and well balanced with it not being overly sweet. The freeze dried mangos were a nice touch and the matcha flavor was very strong. The customer service was exceptional. The baristas were very sweet and had great suggestions. I really like that in place of accepting tips, they donate to Haitian non-profits. read more

Been eyeing Bonhomie for a few months on Instagram and was glad to have an opportunity today to come by while in Seattle. I haven't had Haitian coffee before and was super excited to try. They recommended the Bannann Dous Latte from their new spring menu and it was unique and delicious (spiced plantain syrup? For real?!) and made me so wish I had my mom's plantain tart to go with it. I am not free between 11-2 on Sundays very often so was sad to miss out on the baked goods from the Pizza by Ruffin team. The owners of Bonhomie were super sweet and I am hoping they'll get to do this more often (& further south!). I decided to check out Bonhomie Coffee Bar before Super Bowl Sunday (2/9/25). This popular coffee pop up is located in front of Pizza By Ruffin, at the Fairview Market Hall in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood. Bonhomie Coffee Bar, a mobile cart, is only available on Sundays 11am-2pm. Bonus is that street parking is free and no Amazon business traffic! Since Konbit closed in the UDistrict, I was happy to learn of this Haitian indie business from local media. Definitely line worthy, but without the lengthy insanity of other local bagel, doughnut, and pastry stops. Welcoming, upbeat staff crafting tasty coffee beverages, featuring fresh baked items, and coffee roasts also for purchase. I tried a delicious Haitian Mocha and Haitian Bread while onsite for nearly an hour. The Butter Cake slice will be shared with The Homie. Because of access to the Pizza By Ruffin ovens, the baked goods are fresh and warm! The nearby seating at Pizza By Ruffin was full, so I headed over to community seating at the market hall. I enjoyed the industrial, modern, and sleek layout. I realized I had been here years ago to checkout adjacent business, Bar Harbor. Very cute spot that's currently doing a residency at "be here now." Wish I could have gone to the pioneer square location, but was excited to finally have time to try this cafe today. The flavor combinations were super unique. We ordered the Bannann Dous and an orange-vanilla latte. I asked for the bannan dous to be less sweet which was perfect. It's got a sweet plantain base which was delish! The orange-vanilla drink (can't remember the name, sorry!) was sharp, tangy, and super refreshing. I highly recommend this one. Beyond the drinks, I think the service really stood out to me. I'm the type of person who doesn't care how a cafe/restaurant's service is because I don't expect strangers to go out of their way to make me feel a certain way when I'm a customer. Like I chose to shop there, and idc if they're smiling, bubbly, etc. I only really care if someone's being outright rude/unkind. BUT the people at Bonhomie were so chill and sweet! Very easy to talk to and ask questions which just goes to show they really believe in their product and brand. Really makes you want to root for them! Everything was delicious and the customer service spectacular. As someone with crohns I cannot have oats or oat milk (mystery to me) as it causes stomach pain. I was lucky enough to be able to bring my own milk to make a couple drinks for me to try. I ordered both the Haitian mocha and the Bannan Dous latte. They were both delicious, though my stomach did not like something in at least one of them so the deliciousness was short lived. Definitely a place I will hype up though - if you don't have gut issues definitely make an effort to try this out. They pop up in different spots, are queer black owned, and just good vibes. Love the concept and drinks here, and the how they integrate their culture into the ambiance and offerings, including merch. The Bannann Dous was a little sweeter than I'd liked, so if I get it again I'll probably cut it by half. An absolutely stunning coffeehouse located near Pioneer Square. As soon as you walk in, you are acknowledged by helpful and engaging staff. I went an hour before closing time and I wished I had arrived sooner to enjoy my coffee. Ample seating, lots of people appeared to be working comfortably. Also, great music playing overhead made it a total vibe, and it was not distracting. I ordered a small coffee that was robust. Very bad service and this cafe cannot make some standard coffee drinks so it may not be for everyone. I tried to order an iced latte but they could only make it with oat milk, not sure if they were out of milk or if they only offer vegan options. I said thanks anyway but I asked the barista to use their restroom. The owner who was standing right there told me it was for customers only and I couldn't use it even though she had just watched me try to buy coffee. I understand that you have to be careful about opening up your restroom to the public to keep it clean....but I wasn't just coming in off the street, I tried to buy coffee. read more
