Unfortunately we arrived 90 minutes before closing and did not have time to see the movies or fully engage with many of the exhibits. Very nice restaurant as well

This is a wonderful museum, family-friendly and a must see for anyone interested in energy,…read moresustainability and transportation. We stopped by unexpectedly after our hiking plans were rained out, and were very glad we did! We got discounted tickets with our Swiss travel pass and decided to check out the main museum. We spent most of our time in the energy, train, and car sections of the museum. For a weekday afternoon near closing time, it was not crowded at all so we were able to see everything we wanted. Some of the highlights are the various railroad cars - it was so interesting to see how the appearances differed across centuries! The huge model trainset would be a lot of fun for kids. We were also struck by the wide selection of cars across centuries, and the machinery that brings them up and down so you can see them more closely. The simulation experiences are really cool for all ages, we learned a lot about the different forces at play during the crash test. The museum of mirrors was also a hit - it was so much fun trying to figure out what is mirror and what is not. All in all a great experience, I only wish we could have spent longer there before it closed to check out more of the ships and aviation sections of the museum. It is a delight for all ages and very educational.

Absolutely fantastic day, we lucked out with having nice weather, especially since this is a place that you walk around... So many building and things to see, think we tried to cover the main points and were there for at least 3-4 hrs without ever running out of things to see and experience. The buildings where you could do things like wood cutting, etc were neat. We had fun trying on some old clothes and trying to imagine what it was like to live in the houses, which were all very nice and well maintained. Of course, the younger son and I were caught up with all the animals we got to see and pet, etc. The goats were very funny, trying to eat my hair and nibble on my jackets and the young pigs were so cute! Love that they have so many animals running around and available to pet. Of course, when we took a break and had our picnic lunch, the chickens were all hovering around begging for food,,,,so naturally we reinforced their begging by tossing them bits of bread! There was a horse and cart available and they even stopped during one of their travels to pick up a family that seemed weary of walking, but we thoroughly enjoyed walking through the beautiful museum area.... The section where the water wheels move the wood cutting machine and pound the bone into meal was really cool to see...and apparently they do things like outdoor theatre/plays there as well. Very nice visit, highly recommend for folks to visit!

In fact it was probably one of the worst spaghettis I've had. I would only get it if I was absolutely starving from a long hike which I was. The waiter in the end asked for an additional tip while his service was poor and service fees are already included in the cost of the meals. Overall, I had a poor experience here and had terrible food. I do not recommend coming here.

There is interesting information on the film, the actors, actresses and the Olympic winning stuntmen that did the skiing. There is information on how the movie being shot here changed the area which was interesting. There were non-interactive and interactive exhibitions. The most fun being the helicopter simulator tour, the put yourself in the movie silly photos and the film your own bobsled he race - we did the fight scene and the film is very silly! I was dubious but it was good fun and useful to have something to do when waiting for the cloud to clear or for the coach load of tourists to move on
