Lynn did my nails twice in the past few weeks and they look great! I have been getting my nails done for the past 25+ years and I have only had 4 technicians file my nails exactly how I like them and Lynn is one of them :-) She is very fast and does a great job. I have had 2 pedicures by the male at the salon (sorry, not sure of his name). Man, he goes to town on my feet and I love it!! I had heard a vicious rumor about American Nails, but they are just so close to my house I gave them a shot. I was impressed! I don't impress easily. I brought my daughter, 5. She and I got mother/daughter pedis. They had a special station just for kids. It was the cutest thing I ever saw. They even drew "hello kitty" on her big toes. She is tickled! I went for the spa pedi. The orange sugar scrub is worth every penny. The mask has my legs and feet feeling smooth days after the treatment. I think I've found my new go to place! I was going to a different nail spa in the area but I decided a change was needed after my Christmas nails, that I spent good money on, began to literally crumble. American Nails is clean, the staff is friendly and the vibe is relaxing! These are things I look for in a nail spa! They don't try to push for more expensive services and even their "basic" pedicure was amazing! My nails (full set: acrylic and gel paint) are the best they've looked in years!!!! I went on a Saturday and it was packed but I was SO impressed with how the staff balanced everyone and kept the flow going. Will definitely return, keep up the great work! read more

Came here a week ago for a Manicure and a pedicure. The ladies were nice, but the sanitation I have to question. When they use a nail filer they have to use a new one and they do not. They reuse it over and over again on every single person! The place was hot and dirty. It was very rushed and not to talk about the price. I feel like I overpaying for getting mediocrity. I'm not one to complain but I had to drop this couple of lines here. I just would support this business again. The pedicure was the nice. The nails/manicure not too much my four-year-old could've done it. I like supporting businesses that take their time and do their efforts to do a good job. I don't care about the money it's all about the service. But I do question their sanitation. I would rate them very poorly. Remember ladies even if they do your nails acrylics and they use the machine. The file on that needs to be new! Or the nail file that they use on your regular nail also needs to be brand new! No I'm not talking about the stainless steel one. I'm talking about the nail File machine on the tip of the drill bit, and the nail file they used to shape your nails. This is some thing that should be done without you having to ask for it!! This is how Infections happen. Just be on the lookout! Worst salon for waxing! Lady only used wax on a little part of my lower eye brows! She used a cheap shaver that you see in info commercials and can buy at CVS for $1.99 on the top of my brows. On top of not using wax, at the end of it my eye brows weren't even the same shape. I had also opted for a lip wax and she claims that since so little of my lip hair was removed, it's be cause I had soft hair. My mom has her own waxing tools and when I have used hers, it removes 95% of my lip hair. When went back a few minutes later to get a refund, the lady told me she was only going to give me $7 for the lip waxing. A full refund should have been given. Worst experience ever since she was rude and told me to go do it myself and see if I could do a better job. read more

Awful, awful, awful service. My mother went to get her eyebrows/upper lip waxed and I could not be more disgusted. She left with wax slopped in her hair and on her jacket. The worst part, a significant burn that has now turned into a sore on her face. The employee was extremely preoccupied and not concerned about her customer's at all. I understand people make mistakes but at least acknowledge what you did and show some concern. read more

I recently went to American Nails to get my eyebrows waxed and was very disappointed with my experience. Not only was the woman rude, but she was rough and careless. When I left, I noticed that she dripped hot wax on my jacket, my shirt, and in my hair. Very disappointed! I will not be back and would not recommend this place to others. read more
