He came out at the expected time, gave a fair quote and since we were planning on doing it eventually anyway, I trusted him and his crew at MiCo Development Group to install a 2nd gate on the other side of the fence. The quote for the project was fair and delivered quickly through email via a customer portal. Payment for the deposit was simple and easy to do and everything was honest and straightforward. We scheduled a time for the work to be done a few weeks after the quote and Colton was communicative about the best days, letting us know that they had to adjust slightly for the Thanksgiving holiday, but was also clear in checking in ahead the day before to make sure the date worked out. When the work was done, they showed up on time and went over the agreed upon specs ahead of time. Colton and Mike paid attention to every detail I mentioned (such as a specific gate latch that I wanted) before starting. And in the middle of the job, when they accidentally hit a sprinkler line, they were honest about it and ensured that it was fixed properly before calling the job complete. The repairs were done in about half a day and now I have the piece of mind of (two!) working gates. Professional, friendly, prompt and fairly priced, as well as amazing customer service makes MiCo Development stand out above any other company here on Yelp. After talking to Jackson an appointment date was later scheduled by text (no time was given and without contacting me first). when I called the company I was told they would be there early, 8:30 or 9:00 am. at 11 I called, got no answer so I left a message. they arrive shortly after. He said it was an easy fix should be done within an hour. 20 minutes later I went out to see how he was doing and he was gone! Although I was told they would review the project with me before they left but they didn't. The fence was straightened and firmed up but I'm not sure what actually was done. I guess I'll have to for the next hurricane. Better communication is expected no matter the size of the job.

After positive past dealings with H&Y I referred them to a member unit-owner to replace a wood courtyard enclosure with vinyl. The job was completed but needed to be lowered slightly to match the height of others in the Association. Despite a delay caused by the hurricane, Jerry, the owner, saw to it that the adjustment was made to our specifications. Given the relative insignificance of this re-visit in comparison to the volume of fence work a hurricane can produce, H&Y kept their commitment and for that the homeowner and I were thoroughly impressed. At the 7 week mark, I was curious because no one had called me with an update on my order. They said they would call in a couple of weeks once they had my install ready to schedule. Jason did call and schedule for the following week at 9am. There were some set-backs on install day, for I had been scheduled to be 9am and by 10am, no one had shown up or called. Having taken the morning off, I was upset when I ended up having to take the full day off and they didn't even arrive until after 2pm. The crew was very efficient, with Sergio heading the team. They worked for a couple of hours. Glad I was there, to review fence before they finalized or they would have installed the fence sloped to accommodate the yard. Fence should be even, dirt can be added to even the slope of the yard on the side of the house. The posts were corrected and fence install continued. Second day they came back and finished the job. Fence looks great and truly adds value to the house. I think the installation crew is top notch. The office staff really needs to improve on their communication skills with their customers. It's like they don't care about the customer but boy did they call right away to get paid. No one ever apologized for making me wait all day when I had been scheduled for a 9am install.

Miguel was very responsive and contacted us to set a time to check the area for the estimate. They used the survey we had done to locate where the fence would be placed. We selected Ace because he came with brochures for us to see the options and was knowledgeable during the estimate. The value for the price is fantastic. Ace came with all the materials on a trailer the Monday after Thanksgiving. They had to load it that morning since they didn't work over the weekend. They created their lines with a laser and string making sure they were in the proper location. They finished the length of gate on the first day and the gate the morning of the second day. I was amazed how fast they dug the holes and assembled the fencing. The fence is beautiful. It's nice to have privacy in the backyard but it beautiful, as well. The fence was destroyed in the hurricane when the posts snapped because they were empty (no beams)! I got a call from Gage, an arrogant and condescending person, who explained that it's my fault that the new sales guy, working on a new system, and the back office staff who confirmed the details and told me that the beams were included were all wrong because I did not bother to add up the individual lines to ensure that they were a part of the total. All I asked for was to honor the original quote or give me a discount on repairs. He laughed at me and said it was my problem. I asked to speak to the owner and he laughed at me again and told me "He's going to tell you the same thing." I absolutely do not recommend this service. They take no responsibility for any part of anything that goes wrong. I was spoken to like it's my fault (I wasn't here during the installation).
