I was recently asked for a recommendation for balloon services and I had to unfortunately not recommend Sarah's balloon service. I hired her for my children's grad party and she was very responsive and nice to deal with. She had great ideas for decor but the problem was in the delivery the day of our event. She arrived about 2 hours late and was not done with setup when my guests arrived. She stated she was late (our party started at 6pm), because she was at another event. She then proceeded to tell me that she wasn't done with the other arrangements so she had to leave for another pickup. She didn't come back until 9:30pm. I asked her at that point for a discount due to the fact that she robbed us of the "Wow" factor because our guests didn't see the backyard setup the way I envisioned (and paid for) to look like. Sarah only offered me $100 discount - and continued to state that it would cut into her costs if she gave more. I spent over $1200 on her services. My overall impression is that Sarah needs to hire people if she wants to grow her business and not leave her customers with such a sour experience OR NOT take on more business than she can handle by herself. read more
