Think ordering balloons for a birthday would be a relatively simple process? We wanted a dozen balloons to be delivered but needed to exchange several emails with Ron, the owner, before finally understanding what Balloons On Broadway actually offers and charges. To begin, though Balloons On Broadway's misleading website clearly states that delivery to our zip code would be $10, one of Ron's many emails (all ordering is done through email) informed us that the $10 charge was meant only for one of his specials, not a delivery of balloons. Huh? Our actual delivery charge would be $20, twice the advertised amount. Why not be upfront about actual delivery charges? In addition we were told that we couldn't order only a dozen balloons. The minimum number to be delivered would have to be at least two dozen. Again, why not tell the potential customer this from the beginning? As for the balloons, they're clearly pricey -- $2.50 each, $2.75 each with Hi-Float. Competitors offer balloons filled with Hi-Float for under two dollars. After the lengthy email exchange we stuck with our order and paid for the extras, but we certainly won't do business with Balloons On Broadway again. read more

These folks were so easy to work with and I got exactly what I wanted! I wanted balloons to decorate for a celebration of my first year in business. They created cute little bunches of balloons that were just perfect! I knew I wanted a mix of mostly blue and white balloons with one orange one for fun. They staggered the height of the balloons so each bunch looked very nice and provided weights wrapped in fun sparkly paper/plastic. Great place, better prices than flowers, and Ron is super nice guy. He is definitely an experienced customer service master. I've taken a few customer service classes and this guy is top notch. But Ron will stick to his guns when you talk about buying a smaller quantity of balloons than 24. He only delivers balloons in 24 count bundles. He was willing to deliver fewer balloons for the same price, usually something that ticks me off. (Less product for same price) but he did throw in some spray that extends the life of the balloons and was super apologetic. Whatever. I'm just enjoying the fact that I can send my hottie fiance' some balloons. If you can find someone else to do it for cheaper and on a moments notice you let me know ;) read more

They had two months to get delivery information for our wedding and waited till the day of to email my wife to get info. This is after they received payment. Emailing the bride to be on her wedding day is no way to get information. They then refused to refund us all of our money, but instead offered us half. Then they couldn't figure out how to refund us so they gave us credit... Why would I want credit to your business after you failed to provide good service. My daughter just graduated from U of O. I found this company after another local company said they were not sure they could take a reservation 3 weeks in advance for the special colors(yellow & green). I was shocked, but am SO happy as this was SO much better than a bunch of balloons. Ron was creative and so easy to work with. I was so happy with our main balloon bouquet! Great personal service. I wanted balloons for my granddaughter's birthday. She lives in Vancouver, WA and I live in the other Washington on the East Coast. And there would be no party in CoVid time. So I ordered the 6 foot balloon because there was going to be a drive by 2 days after her birthday dinner. The balloon was perfect, she loved it and it was still a tall balloon, not quite 6 foot for the drive by, but large enough so that a pizza driver, mail man and police man saw it and gave her a big honking congratulations before the drive by from her friends started! my 3 dozen latex balloons looked awesome!... but they didnt even last a full day. They quickly deflated :( the delivery was a nice option but not worth the money given how fast they lost their helium. the 3 balloons i purchased at the dollar store have been floating nicely for 3 days now. wont be using balloons on broadway again. read more
