The place really did a great job with my event! Prices are the same or a little cheaper than all their competitors. (Trust me I got bids from everyone) Pick up and drop off times were right on time and everything came in good condition. Best of all is their customer service. I had to change my order multiple times and they were on it immediately with a new quote emailed to me immediately. I would use this place for any event I was doing. Think of all the fun party decorations & toys you have ever dreamed of, now times that by 100 thousand and you will have touched on just a slice of what they have to rent at Peter Corvallis. Their show room is lined with aisles of inspired themes from Fiesta, Old Hollywood, Pirate, Safari, Malt shop, Greek toga, Vintage Circus, Indiana Jones, Barn Bash, Food Carts, Egyptian Pharaohs, Classic Casino, Marie Antoinette, Ok-Corral, Winter wonderland and that is just what I took silly pictures in front of, at one of their open houses. They also have Tents, tables chairs, linens and lighting from basic to the outrageous. Their staff has been absolutely amazing. These Event specialist even have a whole separate warehouse with an Audio Visual department who can do sound, lighting design, projection and from what I can tell their skills are more in the realm of limitless, so I am sure the list does not end there. I know that they have a design specialist who can create your dream decor for the larger events. I know they do big rentals along the lines many thousands of people large and can help with single small item rentals like a snow cone machine (which you better believe I am renting). From visiting their open house it seems like their clientele ranges from brides, restaurants, caterers, event planners, and regular folks having a backyard bash. Although the rental was great. Customer service is non-existent. They never sent me a copy of my service order. My rental item did not come on the day I requested. I had to call and ask them where it was and they said it looks like they forgot it. No apology was made. During the correspondence, they had the audacity to fully capitalize words throughout the email to ensure their point was made. I was told that an AV person was suppose to call me and let me know how to work the rental and I never received the call. I had to call them the day of the wedding myself. When I advised that I was told an AV person would call me to explain how to operate the rental, he said "oh we did not know about that." Again no apology was made. He was actually very dry and mono-tone. I gave my credit card information when I originally ordered the rental and I get an email about a week after the event saying they needed my credit card number. When I called to make the payment I was transferred 3 times until I got to the right person. When I reached the right person, which apparently was AV again, the same dry mono-tone guy answered. He was very short in the way he spoke and not customer service orientated at all. It should never be this difficult to pay. I work in event planning and I am completely appalled at the lack of customer service I received. I would not recommend this rental company to anyone. read more

The great thing about PCP is not just the stuff they have, but the fact that they can actually design amazing event spaces. It's pretty much the complete package, plus they are all super nice people. If I could give this company zero stars I would. Planned an event for 30 people 3 months in advance. Event was in November. In Oregon. Rented a white tent with with sides, lighting, and heater. I expressed concerns about the wet grass and asked if flooring should be installed (just dinner under the tent, no dancing). Event person told me no. She'd have the team install the tent a few days before so grass would dry...and told me heaters would help with this. Never offered to visit my house. Day of the install, pouring down rain Guys, who were very professional and polite btw, call me out to the yard to inspect the install. The tent is disgustingly filthy. Huge stains cover the entire ceiling (see pictures) and massive flooding under tent, in some spots at least 3 inches deep. There is no way this will dry in 3 days. Guys leave. I frantically call sales person. She has guys come back to inspect. We go back outside. Flooding is worse. I get the manager on the phone who tells me the flooding is caused by the sloping in my yard. My yard is completely flat (attaching a picture). At this point I am worried the flooded yard will cause issues with my foundation and flood my basement. I insist the guys take down the tent. They do. Again, they were super nice. Long story short, I have to host 30 people in my house by having furniture moved out. My bad for not insisting they come view the site and getting some type of guarantee. But when I leave countless phone calls and send countless emails requesting they refund a portion of money (1500.00 total) and take partial responsibility. Crickets. Not a peep. Worst. Customer. Peter Corvalis production's has got to be the worst company to work for. They underpay and overworked their employees don't give them a day off and work them extremely long. Also, their equipment stuff like their fence fences stage material in a lot of father material are in very bad shape and in need of repair and they go ahead and rent them out to the customers anyway care more about money than what it would take to fix them up and deliver a good product. It was a great decision! We were having a wedding on New Year's Eve, and my rental order changed throughout the planning process. We worked primarily with Cat at PCP on Oregon Repertory Singers' major annual fundraiser. Cat was INCREDIBLE. She was flexible, worked to stay as close to our budget as possible, made adjustments and substitutions as needed to make sure we got everything we need. Her service was excellent. When we discovered a major omission on the day of the event that was our fault, and required immediate resolution, we had the product in less than an hour. The crew who worked at our event (primarily a/v support) was not only knowledgeable but friendly and flexible -- not always the case with a/v crew members. Peter Corvallis Productions lived up to the reputation I'd heard when I began working for our organization, providing excellent products and customer service, all with a great attitude. Eek! Methinks Not. is an under statement. I used to be in love with their cool funky props and the way they make you feel welcome when you come in the door. But after having their staff show up late or not at all to a few events, and even more funny was one event where they came rolling in to an event we did not even contract with them for (good thing too because they would have been late to that one). It seems that at one point they may have been a luxury rental company here in town but their prices are still much higher and the quality of service is horrible. To me when you hire a company for your event you want them to partner with you to make it a success, not just randomly send the truck out. I have seen their staff drinking at events, and the owner yelling at their staff when she clearly messed up the order. I will never even call them for a quote again for fear that they show up un announced and embarrass me. read more

They get a 1 star because they LOST my rental. I reserved a chuppah on September 24th. I called on July 13th to confirm that it was ready for pick-up on July 14th and they said "yes" it will be ready for you at 9am. My fiancé showed up to get it at 9am and they couldn't find it in the warehouse. They got tired of waiting and left and several hours later the Chuppah was located. No apologies from them. We definitely won't be using them again. My wedding planner recommended them to me but she won't be sending them anymore referrals after today. read more

We used this company for AV setup at the Elysian Ballroom for my non-profit's anniversary reception. I was able to meet with the techs before hand as they were getting things in place for the event, and test the set up to make sure everything was in working order. They were responsive to emails during the weeks leading up to the event, their prices were reasonable, and their equipment worked great. We had no problems during our event. First of all, if I could give this company NO STARS, I defiantly would. My husband found this company online because we were looking for a place to rent decorations for our sons baptism. We went into the warehouse and picked out a couple of items with Nicole so she can add to our quote. Let us know that she would email it to us later that day, didn't get the email til later the next day. Along in our quote we wanted to get the ceiling swag, we needed to get the height and length of the ballroom, got it for her that same day, didn't hear back from her for about a 3 day because I had to contact her. She then let me know that I needed to know if there were any other doors entering the ballroom because they needed to see if the ceiling swag would get in the way, I then sent her a diagram with exact measurements and all and again didn't hear from her for another 3 days. AGAIN, I was the one who had to contact to see what was going on, she then let me know she was waiting to get a response from her manager. The day was getting close so we decided to remove the ceiling swag and just get a door swag instead. I was ready in this case and sent her the measurements to the door. This was becoming the exact same thing as the ceiling swag. Question after question, response after response and no answers. Finally we just decided to go with ONLY the props, we also decided on picking up the props from the warehouse. Paid everything in full. 3 days before the party, Nicole let us know we were not allowed to pick up the items from the warehouse better yet they had to deliver it themselves and charge a $250 fee and with the party approaching, any extra spending becomes a huge inconvenience for anybody. If this company is forcing their customers to add delivery from them then why not just include it in the original price and why even provide option for pick up. Props were delivered when they said they would be and pick up went fine. A week later, after the party, the company emails me saying we still need to pay a fee because the props were left in a different location then where they had dropped off. Location was 50ft away from where they dropped off. I left Nichole know that. She never said anything about no fee? Now I'm pissed. They are sales people and if you're trying to make a sale you go above and beyond to complete the sale and answer any questions with answers at an orderly fashion but NO! Worst customer service/ sales experience EVER! Never again will we rent from this company. Spent about $900 for props, delivery and a huge headache. Not all worth it! Trust me. read more

Setup was set for 3pm and they were on time and done with draping in less than an hour. I thought the price was reasonable for how beautiful the drapes and uplighting was. Two of the last three years we had contracted a Stage Rental through Peter Corvallis for a large outdoor concert style event, and they failed to deliver it on time.
