The ballroom was large and spacious and the sound carried well when the band played! There was amble room for dancing and singing too! The food was excellent and the catering staff were very efficient- in and out you didn't notice them and they did a great job accommodating dietary restrictions! All in all, a wonderful night- an unexpected gem in a busy area!

We loved Trish Finley and she was a huge part of why we chose that venue. Ellis is absolutely gorgeous! One of the biggest selling points is the absolutely stunning bridal suite. That really made the entire morning so relaxing and enjoyable. Tina, our event coordinator, was absolutely wonderful. She was communicative, responsive, and very patient with all of our questions. She made sure everything was in place to make sure we had the perfect wedding. We also worked with Brielle and Megan, who were both incredible. They were so kind, fun, and attentive. You honestly don't need a planner with all of the people wonderful people at Finely. On the day of, Shannon was my bridal attendant and she was just awesome. The entire staff is first class! We've received so many compliments about every aspect, but especially the food. The food really is the best! Our guests were particularly impressed with the dessert room. I love TMG, but this has got to be one of the worst convention centers I've ever been to…read more Building is very horizontal, which is good for accessibility, but it means if you don't arrive super early to get good parking, you have to walk around the entire building outside to find the correct entrance. There's several "show floor" halls that can be connected, making for quite a large show space. But that's sort of baffling because the meeting rooms are TINY. Like, you could fit maybe 50 people in the meeting rooms. And the bathrooms are tiny, too. Each men's room only has 2 stalls and 2 urinals. I have no idea what the designer of this building was thinking when it comes to the scale of everything. The one upside is that the food is kinda decent, and cheap compared to other con centers I've been to.

It's a short drive off of US-422 in a complex with many other businesses, but is not hard to find and has a large parking lot. Depending on the event, you can enter from any one of three entrances. Most of the space is configured as an open floor plan, so the rooms are large and wide open. This can lead to issues with noise bleed if any presentations are planned, and I can't comment on the quality of the meeting rooms they offer. The food stand offered basic food options including hamburgers, French fries, chicken tenders, salad's, Coca-Cola beverages, deserts, and other items. I had the chicken tenders and fries, which were decent, and the prices were fine. Negatives were not enough large bathrooms with multiple stalls and I'd be concerned attending a larger event here with how small several of the bathrooms were. Overall, The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center is a reasonably good place to attend an event.

We ended up deciding it was a great option for the following reasons: Large space-- I believe the max is right around 250 people Plenty of parking/transportation options- this spot has a large parking lot AND it is easily walkable from the Conshohocken train station Appeal of Conshohocken- it has hotel options that were walkable from Washies, there were bars within a few blocks for the afterparty, and it is right off 476 and 76 Food and drink options- super affordable (see my PTG Catering review for a review of the food) Our party was this past Saturday and it was a huge hit. The staff at Washies was very helpful during the planning process and on the day of the event. All our guests were impressed by the space and had a great time. I highly recommend Washies Memorial Hall for your next event!

He got angry when we asked him for a glass of water because it was 10 minutes before his shift. He made comments to us about how he wasn't being paid to stay after 11 even thought we were just finishing cleaning up and it was still 10:30. He also closed up the bar an hour before our event ended and wouldn't even get water or soda for anyone. Last year we hoped he was just in a bad mood. This year I think he's just legitimately a jerk. We already decided we're taking the event elsewhere next time.
