The place is really cute and was the perfect size for our wedding. We had just the perfect amount of room for the number of table and chairs we used and enough room on the dance floor. There is a little area/ private room near the bathrooms that serves as the bridal suite and also a great place to nurse my son and for other nursing moms. The price was great and I love what the money goes towards. I would absolutely recommend this for a wedding of 50-90 guests or for other events. This is basically a small down and back loop with a few short side trails that crisscross the main path, Jenkins Road. The cauliflower appetizer was exceptional, but the entrées were not good. The Java pork chop, which used to be the Java pork loin, was very overcooked, and dry. The wife's crabcakes were also overcooked and bland. Other tables around us were also upset at the wait and a few of them were given incorrect entrées. Our waiter Alex was awesome, but could only do so much. The remodel is nice, but it's gonna take a few more weeks at least for the kinks to get smoothed out. I'm still gonna return, just because of the Goodwill they have accumulated over the last couple of decades. I think they'll get back to their rightful spot.

We had to move our ceremony indoors at the last-minute due to weather, which I was heartbroken about, but I'll admit that the space still looked stunning. It's flexible and modern, giving couples a great canvas to make their own, which was a huge reason we chose Pomme. * The food and drinks were outstanding. Our guests raved about the cocktail hour, especially the cheesesteak station. And the Pineapple Margarita (our signature drink) was a crowd favorite. * Service during the event was, for the most part, excellent. Guests told us it was some of the best they've experienced, especially how dinner was served in unison. * Special shoutout to the lovely woman who took care of my husband and me in the bridal suite and during dinner. I regret not remembering her name, because she was truly a highlight. She made sure we were fed, hydrated, and relaxed in the middle of the madness. Now...the bad: Our experience leading up to the day -- and even parts of the day itself -- left us hurt, frustrated, and frankly, angry. * I showed up to the rehearsal with my parents, grandparents, and wedding party excited to walk through what was supposed to be the first look at our ceremony setup. Instead, we walked into a construction site. Tarps, ladders, open buckets of white paint, and men actively painting -- at the literal spot where I was to say my vows in less than 24 hours. No warning. No apology. Just a smile and a comment from our coordinator Steph about how "lucky" we were to be the first wedding of the season with a "fresh coat of paint." That was not reassurance -- that was a spin. And it was insulting. * Steph, our coordinator, was not the right fit. Our personalities didn't mesh from the beginning, but more importantly, I never felt prioritized or truly cared for. I didn't feel like a bride. I felt like a line item. Looking back, I wish I'd asked for someone else early on. * Be prepared to spend thousands more than your initial quote. Nearly everything costs extra, and I don't mean small add-ons. - $200 for a case of Miller Lite (yes, really). $55 for a bottle of Prosecco. And no, you can't bring your own drinks in the bridal suite. - $1,400 for string lights (they put them up and take them down between every wedding just to ensure they can keep charging for them). - $200/hour extra for time in the bridal suite, because the included five hours are never enough when doing a first look. - Signature drinks, bridal suite food, even basic setup -- all à la carte and wildly overpriced. No one even bothered to tell me in the beginning that a big majority of gluten-free options (I have celiac disease) would cost extra. A huge reason why we chose Pomme in the first place. * We were told the staff wouldn't help us set up the day-of, so we planned accordingly. But they did it anyway, which was a pleasant surprise! It looked beautiful, and we were grateful. But then... Steph left. At 9:30pm. The only person who knew all our plans and logistics was suddenly gone without prior warning. By 11pm, it felt like pure chaos. Décor was being boxed up randomly, no one knew what belonged where or what was being donated, and I was being pulled in a million directions. Instead of heading to our after-party, I was left running damage control. I didn't even make it to the after-party because I was so drained. That last hour felt like the rug was pulled out from under us. In summary: Yes, the space is beautiful. Yes, the food is memorable. But beauty and bites only go so far when the process is riddled with stress, miscommunication, hidden fees, and a lack of care. We spent a lot of money -- and what should have been the most joyful day of our lives still carries a sting. I wish I had known all of this beforehand. The restaurant housed the after-wedding party which consisted of french fries, chicken tenders, various egg rolls, and dessert; all of which was very good. I would recommend staying here based on the above, but the outstanding customer service support raised it to another level. Here's my story. We live in New Jersey, roughly 2 1/2 hours away. At approximately 2:30 in the afternoon my husband received a call from the hotel telling him I had left my pocketbook in the safe. Anyone who has done this before knows the sinking feeling of leaving behind a wallet filled with credit cards, driver's license, medical insurance cards, and cash. Since it was a Saturday, hotel management agreed to send it overnight via FedEx on Monday; I was asked to call to confirm delivery. On Monday I spoke with Jean (at the front desk) and explained the reason for my call. I informed her that I hadn't verified the contents of my pocketbook and asked if she could do this before shipment. Once Jean located the package whereabouts, she had to ensure the front desk had coverage. She retrieved the package which had been prepared for mailing, unsealed it and confirmed its contents. Jean then informed me it would be driven to the FedEx office for shipment. Thank you Jean for staying positive and patient with me. Later that day, I missed a call from the manager, Johnny. His voice mail said that our credit card was declined (human error) and asked that I provide another. His message also gave detailed shipment options and costs. Johnny returned to the hotel. I called back shortly after with another credit card. The package was driven back again, and the credit card transaction was approved. In speaking with Johnny, I asked who found my pocketbook as I wanted to thank the individual. He informed me that it is hotel protocol to have a manager check the vacated rooms to see if guests have left any personal belongings behind. The manager's name is Doreen; however, we never had the pleasure of a conversation. Thank you Johnny for your persistence in getting my pocketbook to me. Thank you Doreen for your honesty and ensuring my pocketbook was turned in to hotel management. To conclude, I applaud the honesty, willingness to assist, and patience of Doreen, Jean, and Johnny. I hope the home office, which I will contact, will take note of their commitment to providing the Radnor Hotel's guests with outstanding service and to a very happy ending to what could have been a sad story.
