Was assaulted here and a minor with me was assaulted by a grown man…read more ill Try to sum this up to the best of my ability. long story short. I was here with a student, training him at the basketball court. some man In his 40s was getting very frustrated that we kept beating him. so he grabs my neck and starts to choke me. it took maybe 4-6 other grown men to get him to stop. he then tried to assault the minor. Mind you over a game of basketball. and when lifetime brought us in to mitigate the issue they were great with all these empty claimed promises. they promised to ban the other member if I did not press legal charges. i Still have 3-5 witnesses that were there that day. many of them are current active members still. but regardless the matter. lifetime told me they would ban the other member. so I was content with that as I was a daily guest at lifetime most times 2-3 times a day. the staff there all know me and my family. i can have at least 10 workers there vouch for me that I would go at least 2 times a day 5/6 am and 7/9 pm everyday. Regardless I noticed the member lifetime told me they banned, was in fact not banned. is lifetime that greedy that they ignore an assault case they had on video on a minor and a guest Just for some extra money ? I cancelled my membership immediately after finding this out. I contacted Devin yesterday through email and he might have been the worst assist in history of customer reps. Anyways that's my 2 cents and I strongly advise you to pick another gym than lifetime. I would rather pay 2/3x more instead of being around a gym that's just greedy and cash hungry, they don't even value their guests. my entire family was enrolled here before 2010 and we stayed active for over 13 years. absolutely insane way This company looks at their clients. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM

Of course, I had to use my phone and I did for the last three months. I used to work out outside of the peak hours and I was always very respectful having my private session via google meet. Unfortunately, I was approached in a very abrupt way in the middle of my session by Alyssa, the GM. She asked me to turn off my phone or cancel my membership. Even though I explained to her that I was promised an exception. She could have waited for me to finalize my workout. No, she had to interrupt in a very abrupt way. I ended the google meet session and I asked to finish my workout. After finalizing it, I canceled my membership.it was very misleading allowing me to join the gym just to make me going through such a disrespectful experience. Alyssa should get a better training on customer service. I have been training with my personal trainer for 3 years via Google meet, thus developing a friendship and a professional relationship. I have already found a new gym that values my business and is open to new technologies. It gets very busy during peak hours which I avoided. I only joined one health because it is a walking distance. There are much better options, Where unhappy female member doesn't complain about seeing a respectful and quite member like myself working with a trainer via Google meet and where the GM is polite and got people skills.

The equipment was old. I was told I could connect my Netflix to the equipment, that was one of the "selling" points. I'm not disadvantaged when it comes to technology, I can figure it out. I couldn't find how to set up the Netflix and the Bluetooth wasn't working on the machines so I asked the girl working there for help. She told me "Oh, I've literally never used it before so I'm not sure". Great. Thanks. Forget everything, I just didn't appreciate the ants on the floor. Also, the steam room should be cleaned.

My daughter and I have really enjoyed attending Sunny Tang's Martial arts center for WuShu & Wing…read moreChun Kung Fu. Originally my daughter saw a display of the acrobatic WuShu Taulo (display KungFu) and she thought it beautiful and like The Power Rangers so she wanted in. Fast forward a few months and we discovered that this school was in our Area. They let her try a class to get a feel for it and she did indeed love it. The teachers are great with her and her fellow 4-6 year olds. Very encouraging and always attempt to keep them focused and give each some one on one time to improve and develop. After about a month of seeing me sitting in the parents area watching her 5 days a week they let me know there was a parent program at a reduced rate (with a child's gold membership) for the parent to join in on the class with their child AND participate in the Wing Chun classes. Even though I am overweight and MUCH bigger than the 4-6 year olds in the class they make me feel included and encourage me to keep doing better. We both really love it. The Wing Chun classes are more self defense and much less acrobatic but no less rigorous. They mix 'noobs' like myself with very kind veterans and other masters. All encourage each other and the learning environment is excellent. With all this I cannot help but strongly endorse this school for children and adults alike. I find myself attending 8 times a week (5 with my daughter in WuShu and 3 Wing Chun Classes) and still wanting to do more.

Came here to partake in a Zumba class. I called to find out information as I have a women's group…read moreon Meetup so I needed to make sure I knew exactly how to pay for the class. I was told on the phone by one of the employees that you need to pay through their website as the woman who runs the class rents out the room so I need to pay her directly which is through the website. So I logged onto their website and paid for the class which was $16.95 including tax. Let me tell you, I am so glad a few of the girls couldn't make it that night because Planet workout would have had a big problem to deal with. I will get to why it became an issue later on in my review. So I show up and I'm standing in front of the desk waiting for someone to acknowledge me. Their are two employees behind the counter, one checking his phone and the other chatting to a trainer. The trainer noticed me and asked me if he could help me with something, so I told him I'm here for the Zumba class. He told me I can just walk through to the class. So I proceeded to the class. As I walked through I observed that the place was really outdated and looked like a dump. The washrooms were gross with outdated toilets from maybe the 90s and the sofa in there needs a good cleaning as it had stains all over it. So I then proceeded to the class. The instructor is very nice and man can she move! She interacted very nicely with us which was fun. It's really sad that I had to give this place one star because I really enjoyed the Zumba class and would have come back weekly but because of the way I was treated by the other employees, I won't return. So come the end of the class, the instructor asks me for the money for the class. I looked at her surprisingly and said I paid online? I showed her my receipt and she told me that you don't pay online you per her in person????? Are you kidding me???? Btw the class is $12 so I was overcharged by $4. She told me to go to the front and sort it out. So I walked back to the front. One of the employees (male with blond hair) saw me walk to stand in line. He turned his back to me and ignored me for a good three minutes. When he eventually turned around he greeted me with "what's up"?????, I asked him, is that what you normally do when a customer is in line? You turn around and ignore them? He responded with I thought you were on your way out.... ooooookkkkaay???? Really bizarre.. I told him about the situation and he offered no help. He told me never do you pay for a class online. You pay her directly. I asked him why would one of the employees forward that information, he couldn't answer. I showed him my receipt and he didn't even offer to refund the difference. I really don't have time for hassles, but like I said earlier, their really lucky I didn't have 6 women with me because it would have been a big problem. I will never return to this dump which is sad because the Zumba class is awesome. NOTE TO MANAGER: Your employees are very rude and unprofessional. You will continue to lose business, I suggest more training and a lesson in manners.
