Our 2 year old was having fun but after a party came, they took over and she was a little scared to do much as the others were just pushing their way around and didn't seem to care. One kid jumped on her because he was not paying attention and he was probably 8 - 10. I know the parents should be doing something, not the location but the location should at least have some control over their environment. In short, good if it is not too busy. read more

My daughter loved this place, we went there at 6pm and if you come between 6:30pm - 7:30pm ( they close at 7:30 ) then it's just $5.- per child. Otherwise it's $9.-, parents don't pay. It's a huge facility with lots of running space high ceilings and good air circulation which you want in places like this. There are two rooms the main room with lots of running space ( I would say almost half a football field kinda space ), slides, ball pits etc. and then a smaller room called the toddler room with again a small slide and just a lot of different balls and big padded building blocks. The best part of this place was that you can bring in your own food, like you can get your dinner all ready bring it in tupperware and just eat it there in the eating area, only rule is no peanuts. So if your kids are jumping off the walls on a rainy day and u don't know what to do with them, this is just the place to take them!!! read more

We went here for a birthday party. The space was tight as we were not able to unload the stuff for our party until after our reservation time had begun. The okay arwa I would encourage the staff to circulate and monitor the play area. Kids were kicking balls randomly everywhere and it was dangerous for my 5 and 2 year old. Adults were also playing and ended up knocking over my 2 year old with his rough playing. Most importantly, staff need to circulate and enforce rules as my 2 year old has a nut allergy and there was an adult man eating a fruit and nut bar. I had to ask him to put it away myself but nonetheless, it was one of the many things that ruined the experience. I hope they can be more safe read more

So there are about 4 different indoor playgrounds all in this area and I have to admit that I mostly chose Balls of Fun because of the potential for hilarious Facebook status updates: "We're playing with BALLS!" "Kid is face first in BALLS!" "That other kid just touched my kids balls..." See? The list can go on and on. Balls of Fun at first was pretty difficult to find for me and my failing GPS, but once I did, the staff at the front was pretty friendly and got us in fast. Admission was $10 for the both of us. After leaving the kids food in the lunch area (one of the only indoor playgrounds by the way that allow you to bring your own food in - just no nuts), I released him running and screaming his way towards the giant ball pit. I have to say that the kid had pretty much the best time ever. All the play structures are pretty toddler and parent friendly...though I was tired WAY before he was. At one point I decided to follow the trend of every other parent in the place: I sat down in a giant bean bag chair and just let the kid throw various sized basketballs at me while I stared at nothing in particular. Visited this place for a birthday for a child's friend... Kids had a terrific time. The activities they can do here are great. Party rooms are good sized and place is good from an accessibility perspective. They have a room specifically for 0-3 ages and it gives the kids a decent workout. Typically places like this aren't hygienic, but this one seems clean and they promote hand washing before and after kids play. Love the fact that kids cannot exit the building as there is someone waiting at the front. A nice safety feature.... read more

One of my favourite locations. Always clean. Lots to choose from. About 5 slides in the older children's room. 2 slides in the baby room. Massive jungle gym which is also very clean as I had to climb up to get my son once before. They change the set up of this place every few months which I think is refreshing. The lunch room is immaculate and they have juices and snacks available for sale. They have a variety of private washrooms located in the main entrance and in the jungle gym room. I like the set up now with little relay races taped on the floor. And guests are usually polite and parents are supportive and interactive with children. So not many crazy kids teaching inappropriate behaviours. They also do accept Cash, Debit, Or Credit which is amazing and it's about 10$ per child. read more

Came here to burn off some steam with my toddler on a cold rainy day. It was $10 including tax for my son which included up to 4 adults. I found the pricing reasonable. They have a special section for infants and toddlers with a door you can close. My son loved the slide! We also checked out the bigger area that includes a ball pit, huge slides, soccer nets, trampolines, bowling pins and much more. We had a blast here. I don't see a section that allows for negative rating which would be my choice so had to pick one star We just left a birthday party for my granddaughter which was without a doubt the worst birthday experience ever. The staff were rude to every guest and spent more time harping about rule then ensuring that everyone enjoyed their experience. My grandson was corrected by a staff person, I believe the manager, for asking for a goody bag in a manner that displeased her. He is 5 years old, has special needs and was in the presence of grandparents, parents and aunts who apparently were not policing his speech to a degree satisfactory to this staff member, even though he was doing an exceptional job given his disability. When this was brought to the staff members attention, instead of an apology she appeared to feel compelled to justify her right to correct children who couldn't speak properly. I will never step foot in this business again and will let everyone I know not to bring their children there, particularly if they have special needs. Another concern is safety govern the number of little ones In our group who hand little fingers slammed in doors. I took my daughter to Balls of Fun. I'd heard about it from a friend who's been going for years, so I thought we'd check it out. My girl loved it. She had so much fun playing and sliding and she actually played with kids she didn't know, which I thought was great. It's a really good atmosphere for kids. Lots of balls & activities set up for the kids to play, and apparently they change it up often. The staff was polite, helpful, and the place was surprisingly CLEAN! Lol. All of these places seem to be pretty gross, I guess it's hard to keep clean with so many kids, but balls of fun was really spotless. Makes a huge difference for me anyway. Great place to go if your kid is 18 months +. My son had a great time today there. The only thing is that they increased price recently from 10$ to 12$, and adult need to pay extra 2$. It's quite pricy compare to other in door playgrounds. read more

I have been to Balls of Fun a number of times with my 2.5 year old - and she loves is. BoF has been a life saver on rainy days, snowy days, cold days and general "mom is going nuts today" days. I have found the staff to be helpful and attentive every time I've been. I was especially impressed with the way they monitored the younger kids section by regularly looking in and reminding the older kids that is was a room designated specifically for the younger ones - it's a safety issue and was much appreciated by all the parents. I also found BoF to be clean. The patrons all seemed pretty respectful of the eating area by putting their garbage away, etc. - but I definitely noticed that the staff were cleaning very regularly. I've been to different indoor playgrounds and activity centers closer to my home - but because I know BoF and my daughter has enjoyed it so much - I've chosen to drive the extra distance because it simply worth it. We found out about the $5 per child price on-line and decided to take our daughter and son there for her birthday. We had made plans for dinner and wanted to go there a bit earlier so we called ahead and asked if it was OK to come earlier. The girl on the phone said "as long as it is 6:00PM it should be OK". We arrive @ 5:50PM. Thinking we only needed to wait 10 mins we informed the girls at the counter that we had called earlier, but they refused to admit us. We would not have come if they didn't say it was OK in the first place. It was a hot day outside and did not want to wait out in the sun with our 21 month old son. I'm surprised that this place has such poor customer service and was not very accommodating. I will not bring my kids here again. Thumbs down for me. read more

I recently assisted a large group of children with a visit to Balls of Fun. Some parents had said that the last time they were there, the ball pit smelled of urine. We checked and it smelled clean. The toddler area was great for our kids. We didn't appreciate that the staff complained of some crumbs on the floor of the snack area....I believe that is their job? When we have gone to other indoor playgrounds, it was closed to the public. I would recommend they do this as there were members of the public there with younger children...not really safe in an enclosed area with balls flying around. We never had a problem at other play areas. I'm not likely to return with my family although the kids had a great time. read more

My son loved this place! At $10 a pop, it is not the most affordable indoor playground. But you get what you pay for. Clean, bright and spacious! Full of balls (yes, lots of them), an inflatable bouncing pad, a climbing structure and more! We loved that the toddler area was separate which gave our little guy time to adjust and play while the bigger kids cleared out. Parents can use the structures which is helpful for determined little toddlers. The eating area and washrooms are wonderfully clean! Staff is pleasant and enforce the rules. (e.g., they made an announcement to kids who were climbing up the slides to stop. It was actually for their parents who weren't watching what they were doing. Wish they had a road sign for easier visibility (same issues as Nicole C. in locating it). read more

I made plans for me, my husband and our 20 month old daughter to meet my college friend and her 6yr old, and 4 year old to meet here. Since my college friend was helping me plan my daughter's 2nd b day partym, I figured her experience would be helpful. All the girls appeared to have fun. Little did I know this would be my biggest regret so far. 6 peopel in total went that day. 3 adults ended up so sick that we ALL lost work for 4 days. As for the girl I wish I could say the same. The 2 daughters of my long time friend missed a week of school and were on meds for 14 days. All adukts were aslo on meds for 14 days. My daughter, was wasn't even 2 years old as yet, and ( unfortunately) born a premie, was not so lucky. She was hospitalized for 7 days, sick for more then 15 days and on meds for almost 21 days. All of us had contracted a Gastrol Intestinal Infection. Which, sadly nearly killed my daughter. The most horrific 10 days of my life. She was in The NICU for a week, and suffered vomitting, diahrea, dehydration and other more serious complications. I spent even minute by her bedside, hospital records and friends can testify to such. The 1st chance I got to return, I did and was greated with a very less then concerned, less then causal response of " well mame we are sorry, but it didn't come from here." I need to make clear that this is the only place that all 6 of us had been that would be common. My college friend lives in the niagara region and drove down with her girls just for this day. My husband, my baby amd I had not been anywhere prior to this. The ministry of Health even advised us that the only commonality between the 2 families was this location. I have never been back, and refuse to. Since not so much as an apology was granted, not even an acknowlegdement that such an insodent was even possible. I strongly warn parents of the hidden dangers. We all were sickened because we shared the equipment, a common ground that was not properly cleaned, or staffed with employees that cared. We went there January 21st 2010. I only ever went back there once, during the 2nd week of Feb, 2010. It is now 2012 almost 2 years since the near fatal illness, and still I have yet to recieve even so much as an apoligy. All I want to say is parents be warned. Since then my daughter has been to several indoor play places, as well as attended several parties, and for the record not one has ended inher being hospitalized. I have to ask, how often are the really disifecting and cleaning the equipment? I feel it is my obligation to warn all parents of small children to stay away, and look futher into the history of the place they choose to have their childs party or play date..... seriously a shocked, and concerned Mother. read more
