Fun place with lots of things to imagine and ball pits, climbing things, cars, tools, pretend play

The perfect go to place I in the neighbourhood on a rainy, or winters day. Kids Fun Town is not only really safe but a fairly good place to leave your kid go off and play and know they're having a fabulous time, while you can relax and watch them in the near distance or get right in there and be active with them. My daughter and I love it here. Some days are incredibly busy and some are are pretty laid back in respect to the amount of kids that show up. If you live in the area it's certainly worth the tiime and cost to come here! read more

We just had our son's 4th birthday party here and it was the PERFECT place! Daniel, the owner, is friendly, responsive, and reasonable. Most places don't let you bring in outside food, but as long as it was nut free, Daniel let us bring in snacks and a sandwich platter to accompany the pizza that came with the package. Also, the place can hold up to 25-30 kids (bigger than most, though 20 is probably best space-wise) and your party is private unlike many other bigger indoor playgrounds (note: it moved to a bigger space in Spring/Summer of 2018). Plus, location right on Danforth at Woodbine is super convenient. Perfect place for those 5 and under. read more

When this place opened we had huge hopes that it would be a place to take our son for a play session on weekends when we were not working. We did a couple of times and it was fun. In principle this is a great place. That said. The way the owners run the place is absolutely brutal. You see in order to capitalize on making money they rent the place out for birthday parties and instead of using a separate space for parties they close down the whole place. And there are birthday parties EVERY WEEKEND. So if you want to take your child to play it is highly unlikely that you will be able to because the place is closed for private parties almost all day. Take for example today, May 3rd (a Saturday). They open at 9am and I was going to take my son there this morning. Instead on the suggestion of another friend in the area who also has a problem with the way they run the place I checked the website. And of course, they are closed for a private party from 9am-1pm. That is half the day! This makes it completely useless to try and plan to go to a place that should be open to every paying customer. There is no point in having the place around if it is always closed on prime times. My advice to the owners is to reserve birthdays for late afternoons or weekdays. Otherwise you are going to lose all of your regular drop in business for the sake of some parties that are likely one-offs due to the huge price you charge to host them. Had a great time. My 2.5 & 8 month old had a great time moving around and playing. I think the space was a lot better in person than how the space looks on the website -Wasn't overcrowded -Was nice & clean -Good storage for coats, shoes & strollers -Great little eating area at the back with a baby gate which was super helpful to contain kids during snack time. I don't mind that they have limited weekend availability, makes sense that they'd need to run bday parties on the weekends to make a living. I'd go back! read more

This has to be my favourite place to take my daughter. We go every tuesday as thats her daddy day. Its a safe space, the owners are amazing. And totally understanding of the things young kids get into. Its always clean, im always greeted with a friendly face. Its an all arpuhbd great experience. And best of all living in a neighborhood of completely overpriced things this is something i can afford to do once a week. I would recommend this place to everyone. It really doesnt get better for the young kids. 8.50 with tax in, and the kids play as long as they want. read more

Yesterday we had my four year old's birthday party here and it was SO GREAT. I really think it was the best two hours of his whole life. Daniel, the owner of Kids Fun Town, organized everything perfectly and the whole party was easy and relaxing (a first for a children's party...). All the other kids and parents seemed delighted too. I've been to 5 different indoor playgrounds in the GTA this year and this one is unfortunately at the bottom of the list. Very tight space with no room for parents to sit and even though it was the middle of a weekday it was feeling pretty crowded with about a dozen kids plus their parents. (Understandable given the Danforth location though.) With a younger toddler I also didn't like that the slide area was very hard to get up (climbing wall entry - have to be closer to 4 to do solo). Also, parents aren't allowed up to the slide area - troublesome for me and another mom I saw whose kids wanted to get down. Ratty stuffed toys need to be thrown out--stick to plastic stuff that can be sanitized (hopefully it does at some point!) Washroom also stunk horribly - poopy diaper left on the floor. If you live walking distance and have no other option this will do but if you have the means to go elsewhere - other places are much better and cost the same. read more

I do not like this place for the following reasons. 1. Broken toys everywhere. 2. A small place where kids do not have fun but just go from one place to another. Especially when there are lots of kids is a place to run away and never come back because there is no air to breath. 3. An irresponsible employee that pretends that is working. 4. A dirty place where you can go and get lots of germs if you are too clean. 5. A place where lots of parents do not know how to communicate properly. 6. A place where you cannot be entertained with your child properly. There is something good though: It's a good place to go if you are caught in the rain/cold. And see different colours. It's been months I haven't gone to this place anymore, but I hope they have changed smth, at least for the kids and those parents/ babysitters that go there. read more

Was happy to find a place at the Danforth that offered babysitting services. We are not from the area but go there regularly for appointments at the nearby hospital. Everything seemed great and I use the word seemed as when leaving my three year old with them they were friendly and the place was nice and clean. I called twice during his four hour time there and everything was great based on their feedback. Even when picking him up they said he was good and very happy boy. When I called to schedule another babysitting session they painted a very different picture, he was too active for them. What a surprise, so you say one thing to a parent then turn around to say the complete opposite.. He's been in preschool for two years with zero issues and is a fun, active and loving child. Three year old boys are active, it's their nature, and if you want a child to sit quietly then they are not taught to expressive their creative and fun nature. I do not recommend their babysitting services, if one person cannot look after one three year old in a confined play space they should not be in that business. Also, how does the rate of $12 an hour go up to $15 overnight. read more

The company does not care to please customers. I got a helium balloon and got home 5 minutes after the purchase an the balloon pops. I call the store and the employee says it is impossible and he has never had that happened in his 8 years of working there so I ask if they can honour it as clearly it is a defective product (if it is actually impossible as he claims). All of a sudden it is now possible that foil balloons filled with helium pop. So i stated that if a product is not supposed to pop because of its properties (compared to cheaper latex balloons), it should be excluded of the policy as clearly it is impossible and therefore defective. The employee says that the best they can do is charge me half the price for a new balloon. Keep in mind this balloon was already costed me 16$. Clearly this company doesn't care about children (given that an 8 year old child won't get her big balloon as promised and simply cares about making more money. I'm sorry but giving someone half off a new balloon rather than replacing a product that is clearly defective is not making a customer happy or caring about them. As a childcare worker in the ares, definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who might be unlucky in a situation like this. read more

I did not like this place at all. the owner kept telling the kids to not do these, dont do that and it wasnt only just my kids, its supossed to be a place for kids to be kids. read more
