    Security harassment
    Andrea H.

The staff came up to me and falsely stated I pushed the service button. The subhumans asked "Do you need help? You pushed for service." That's completely false. Staff are excellent at following their instructions. Here are my photos showing how the staff must harass me.

Between mold and the walls peeling I was really disappointed in this establishment. I would of expected better from Bally's than this out dated 70's decorative hotel, with a 20" TV. The tv was so small you can't watch it. Would definitely pass on staying here and hit the motel 6 it maybe more modern and clean.

What a pleasant surprise! My wife and I were traveling and while searching YELP! for a hotel in the Evansville area I saw Ballys. First recently we went Caesar's Indiana and had the worst experience there ever at a Casino/Hotel property. More about that on another post. Ballys had a room available on a Friday night, decent price, super clean and comfortable! Staff were all friendly and gracious. Food options were available on site! We grabbed a snack at the Tap House. Food was good and reasonably priced. Casio was kept clean and employees were helpful and friendly. Only wish they had more Gaming options in the non smoking area! Great location for a quick getaway for us! Hopefully we will get some offers to come back!!!

I'm giving a 4 star based on the fact I only experienced the Casino area everytime I have been at Bally's so far. I've never had to use to check into the hotel so I can only review my experiences as a Casino customer. First off I love the fact the entrance area feels more secured for you, or really anyone (especially us women) to travel alone, the parking is close to hotel & the airport in general. That in itself makes it less stressful. Its mainly an entertainment complex located on the scenic banks of the Ohio River River front property in Evansville Indiana. It has the fairly large sized casino on the lower floor just inside the main entrance of the parking garage. (That is the popular single-level 24-hour casino that encompasses 45,000 square feet of gaming space featuring 1,175 slot games, over 30 table games, a Poker Room and a High Limit Room). Location overall is great, within walking distance of several bar & grills. Not to mention if you are traveling in to Evansville for an event at the Ford Center this establishment is only 10 minutes away. There's also a great bar & grill inside the casino with decent food selections for this kind of establishment. They offer great selection of alcohol, along with free fountain soft drinks. I like the convenience of the location, and that local guests, or return guests have the opportunity to sign up for a Bally's physical membership card for use in the casino area that you can set a pin number up for (keeps your money safe) and this enables you to have access to exclusive offers and ability to recieve great updates and potential savings. ***[Other things Bally's has to offer it's guests: Other recreational opportunities include fitness center, nightclub. The hotel that includes free wireless Internet access, and gift shops, Temptations Buffet with a coffee shop and other restaurants, the ability to catch a rides on the complimentary shuttle, which operates within a 3 mile radius if need be. It has a bar / lounge area for breaks which includes beverage availability. A business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and even laundry services. A 243-room hotel tower and a 95-room hotel that have coffeemakers, complimentary bottled water, and LCD TV's].***

This is a nice casino. I essentially Herr visiting from California and decided to stop here. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because smoking is allowed. Other than that, it is very clean and nice faculty.

$25/$200. Should not even be legal. Been going for years, done. $200 max on a $25 minimum table is just wrong. Shame on you Tropicana.

Since the CIVID-19 the bathrooms are nasty and a lot of the machines are gross with grease and liquor. WTF!?

    Is it clean?

The rooms are clean with no sign of bedbugs (my wife always looks). There may be some light dust in the hallways, they are building a new casino and remodeling some areas near the hotel.

It turns out, those were actually flattering photos. The rooms are just gross. I can't begin to explain how many stains of God-knows-what were all over the carpet. The bedspreads - yes bedspreads, not comforters - were seriously old, and the blanket on the bed had seen better days. The sheets thankfully were clean, but I wouldn't touch anything else. The shower head is circa 1985 and felt like a sand blaster, only to be followed up with nearly see-through sandpaper like towels. On the plus side, I did feel exfoliated. Seriously, the lobby and restaurant are dated, but the rooms are truly disgusting, and I will never, ever consider staying there again.

A Must-Stop at The Mint!…read more If you haven't been to The Mint Gaming Hall in Franklin, KY since their recent renovations -- you are in for a treat! The whole place has leveled up, but what really deserves the spotlight are the new food and beverage options. We stopped in for a quick visit and dinner at The Corner Café on Thursday night, and can I just say -- YUM! The Chicken Alfredo was absolutely wonderful -- grilled chicken cooked perfectly, swimming in plenty of mouth-watering, creamy sauce that makes you want to overeat (and with their generous portions, that's easy to do!). It even comes with warm, flavorful French bread garlic toast to soak up every last bit. Not to be outdone, the Burger and Fries are outstanding -- juicy, chargrilled to perfection, and served with a fun twist: a fried dill pickle on the side. Y'all, this is smack-your-mama good! The aroma alone will have your mouth watering before you even take the first bite. And of course, you can't leave without a glass of their perfectly brewed Southern Sweet Tea -- it hits that just-right balance of sweetness and refreshment. So do yourself a favor: if you're passing through Franklin, KY, make a stop at The Mint Gaming Hall and check out all the new experiences. And definitely grab a bite (or two) at The Corner Café -- you'll be glad you did!
