When I asked how I could expect compliance from a 7 year old to wear a retainer I was told ... take his iPad away from him if he doesn't ... or he will end up with a palate expander later. I am thankful that I many excellent long term relationships with orthodontists and ENTs who contradicted the given advice to give me a better and fuller understanding of this particular child's challenges. The final and completely unnecessary straw was having me sign a document acknowledging the price if his twin needed a tooth pulled ... because you can't just send the quote home with me- you need my signature... (because I'm 5.) Employees were all perfectly nice and no complaints about friendliness of employees or cleanliness and appearance of facility. The buck ends at the top though. At the end of the day it's about the attitude and relationship with the dentist. It's wasn't there for me that day.

And procedures could've been pushed back a month to when coverage reset and would've left us with no bill. 2022 these crooks did it again. After a call with Jamie, their secretary she informed me ON THE RECORDED LINE that she would reach out to insurance on remaining coverage about the upcoming appointment. They would only provide the care that was covered and the rest we would bump to a future appointment once coverage reset. Needless to say, day of procedure they do not inform us of remaining coverage, instead do everything on the appointment and at the end ask for $2000. FULL well admitting they hadn't even billed insurance yet to know what the final bill would be. They wanted $2000 immediately because they were FULLY aware they had provided more services than we had coverage with and intentionally did not inform us. After insurance, another $1000 bill. Not saying healthcare is free, but this company is out here to trap you to make themselves more than they're telling you!!!!!!!

When I mentioned my concerns, the doctor assured me that once the braces were off everything would be fine. He then proceeded to file down my teeth, but it was the wrong side. When I got my braces off and teeth cleaned, I complained again that it was uneven. The dentist acted like they didn't see it until I had them look at the ex-ray. I made another appointment back to the orthodontist and tried to fix it but not really and they billed me for trying to fix what they messed up. Aside from that and most important to me, you don't wait forever in a waiting room. I've only been to Garrison Dental a couple of times but every time I'm seen almost immediately. I've never waited for even ten minutes. The only slight downside to this place is their limited hours of operation. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist.
