Have been here many times now- both as a Polish mini mart and deli. Great assortments of Polish meats and kielbasas. Great breakfast lunch and dinner menu as well. Often times they have a large assortment of Polish desserts too. Today I got the chicken cutlet lunch sandwich which was really hearty- it came with melted cheese and mushrooms on a portuguese roll. Additionally, we tried the traditional cheesecake and a slice of poppy cheesecake. Really great! They have a large assortment of Polish beers, drinks, and mineral water and a huge assortment of European candy/grocery items. Definitely recommend checking this spot out!

good take out is hard to find, but worth the drive...

If you want to try authentic Keilbasa, Polish fare, delicacies from that part of the world. This is your place. My Mom has been getting their sausage, kielbasa, head cheese, cakes etc, for many years and they are a part of our family history of loving Kielbasa. This Kielbasa is lean, handmade, and delicious. My Great Grandfather had horse drawn sausage and meat cart in Bridgeport at the turn of the century. Their meats are the real deal. Blessings and enjoy. They are incredible. This is the best Kielbasa I have ever eaten.

This was my first vist to Cutting Wedge although I have been eyeing the menu for a while. I like…read morethat they make their roast beef in house, so I decided to go with the number 10, roast beef., melted Swiss, coleslaw, horseradish cream on a hard roll. Service was fast and friendly and my order was ready in minutes. Only Pepsi products here as far as soda so opted out. The sandwich was good. The roast beef was thinly sliced and nice and rare, but did seem to lack some basic seasoning. I could not pin point it, but either the coleslaw or that horseradish cream gave a bit of an off flavor to the sandwich which reminded me of Miracle Whip. Not a fan of Miracle Whip. The cheese was not melted and it did not have that distinctive Swiss cheese flavor. The roll was fine but not hard roll, most definitely a soft one. I might be back to try other menu items. 3.5 stars so far for my experience. Plenty of parking and there are tables to eat in.

Ordered steak cheese mushroom tomato mayo The girl at the counter could not grasp what I was ordering. I think because it wasn't one of the subs on the menu she struggled. Steak and cheese I said. So she asked chicken or beef? Mushroom tomato mayo I said. So not hot peppers she said. Again, steak cheese mushroom tomato mayo She struggled but I think she's got it now Get home and low and behold no tomato on it. In addition, the steak wasn't great, no flavor at all really. I'm not cheap but if you can't get a simple sandwich order correct and charge me $51 and ask for tip on top of it. Here's my tip, learn how to make a steak and cheese and get your customers orders right.

I can't eat the sandwich and I end up tossing it..every time. Happened over last weekend and Monday I called about it. Whoever I spoke to that way was very nice about it and told me that I would be refunded and the owner would call me back when he came in around noon that day. I never got a call back. I called on Tuesday morning and spoke to a different girl. She was awfully rude when I asked when it would be that I could speak to the owner she said "I'm not doing this" and hung up on me. I've thrown out one too many sandwiches and when it happened this past weekend again I decided I should probably get my money back for it at this point. It has now been almost a week and I still have not heard back from the owner and I'm still upset with the way that that girl spoke to me on Tuesday. She certainly was not the same girl that I spoke to on Monday about it. The way she spoke to me I am more annoyed about than the money. When I called back to speak to somebody else instead of speaking to her, I asked what the person's name was that I've spoken to and the girl that picked up the phone told me that she didn't know her name because she just started and had just that day so you mean to tell me that your brand new employee spoke to me that way? Not surprised that they've got such low stars on Yelp.

The lady who greeted me was super friendly. Their menu includes hot and cold sandwiches, breakfast, and Italian meals. I enjoyed my grilled chicken Philly. Sandwiches can come as a roll or a sub. "Spread your wings for New Orleans Kentucky bluebird, fly…read moreaway And take a message to Michael" (Dionne Warwick) Quite a few of Mike's Yelp reviews mention their fantastic customer service, and that claim was proven the minute we crossed the threshold into their deli. We were greeted by a big smiling face that seemed genuinely happy to see us, and made us feel at ease as if we were long lost relatives. What a welcoming experience for our first time here. Mike's is an old school Italian deli, with quite a few breakfast specials that are incredibly priced. For example, how about an egg on a roll for $3.25 or hash browns for a buck? Hell, the most expensive breakfast item on their entire menu is $9.50 for three eggs, home fries, toast and breakfast meat! After breakfast, you can function on lunch because Mike's offers plenty of hot and cold sandwiches, hot and cold sides, paninis, salads, soups and Italian lunches and dinners. The most expensive thing on the entire menu is a Chicken Parmigiano dinner for $15.95. We ordered some food to go, and we walked out with a bag and box of food for $34.24 after tax. Our order included a Ham and Cheese on a roll ($9.25), Ziti with Chicken Parmigiano Lunch ($10.95), fresh Garden Salad ($9.95), and two chocolate chip cookies ($2). As we were waiting for the food, we witnessed a parade of lunch customers coming in for their to-go orders. Many of the customers were obvious regulars and they were addressed by name by the staff. That was pretty cool to see. We split the sandwich for lunch, and it was a very good sandwich with plenty of high-quality deli ham and cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes and onions, and a very fresh hard roll. For dinner, we attacked the salad, chicken parm and ziti, and a hunk of fresh buttered Italian bread that came with the chicken and ziti. The salad was excellent, with plenty of fresh lettuce, grape tomatoes, halved cucumber slices, black olives, and cheddar cheese shreds. The chicken parm/ziti lunch was a pretty good portion that we easily split. Ziti, sauce, cubed breaded chicken cutlets, all with a blanket of marinara sauce and cheese. We had it for dinner and it was very good, as was the Italian bread that came with it. The proverbial icing on the cake wasn't a cake at all, but two chocolate chip cookies, made fresh every morning by Mike himself. What a sweet way to finish off our wonderful experience with Mike's Italian Deli & Grill. This was an easy FIVE STAR review for customer service, value, variety, and product quality.
