They will do short haircuts on women as well, styled beautifully, which is really hard to find someone to do competently because so many female salons do mostly chin-length or longer styles. Just got my hair cut by Sam. Let me first say I am nothing to look at. I'm what's considered eye liver. Most people find me repulsive to look at but there are a few souls that find me tolerable. Sam was meticulous with my cut. I noticed the guy next to me was like a 10. Hot beard. Dressed to the nines. Sam gave my cut the same attention to detail that Rico Sauve got next to me by his barber. Couldn't be happier with the cut, the barber and the barbershop. The absolute best thing about this place was the price. Parking usually sucks in this parking lot but honestly, I would park a mile away and walk here for this cut, at this price. I've been here twice and loved both experiences. Finding the right barber is like finding the right mechanic. Once you've found your person that's kind of it you lucked out and don't need to search for a more honest or more efficient mechanic. That's how I felt when I got my haircut at Bam Bam's. I have a lot of experience in salons and barber shops since I've been to most of them down here and only one or two have been decent in skill and price but they've since sadly closed due to Covid. Since then, I've been looking and after a year of testing places I feel like I can comfortably say Bam Bam's is probably where you wanna go for a damn good cut. Noel is the guy though I've seen a review for the other dude there and he's just as good. Noel did what I've been hoping a barber would do for me. Accurately look at me after being told to just do what you think works and delivering a fantastic easy to manage haircut. Vibes at the place are chill. The 8 year old kid needed a haircut. This place had just opened a week or so prior...we showed up November 22, 2019. We got right in no problem. The hair cut was quick, no nonsense, and good. The warmth from the staff was also, no nonsense. A second barber offered me a haircut and I declined. That was cool. We were the only customers in there and there was very limited conversation to us or the kid. We're ok with that! Time to finish and pay and he says, "$25". Whoa! $25 for a kid cut was new to me as we're using to paying $9 for a kid's cut at our normal place I've been going to since 2011. I totally recognize that is a steal! Ok then. This is what it is...185% more expensive than normal. I understand this is a new place and there's a cost of doing business, so I hand the dude $40, he puts both bills in the register, then looked at me and said, "How much change would you like?" ***long pause*** LOL As I former salesman I can "get" pushing for that sale...but a 60% tip is bonkers. This place is a great find, this is the second time I bring my teen son. He has very curly hair and is just hard to find a place that can do his hair and still look "coo". I showed them one or two pictures of the desired haircut and it was spot on each time. Very accommodating with walk ins but I think it would be best to make an appointment. Came in day after Christmas and got hooked up with a fresh cut by the owner Zach. I usually go to another place, but drove by and saw it...love to support local business. I'm pretty particular about my hair...lots of places don't know how to cut Asian hair, but Zach took care of me with a clean high skin fade with a precise blend into the top. Cool decor with old school wrestling pics. Super clean with a tight barbershop vibe. Price was pretty standard -$25 for a cut. My husband and I walked in with two of my boys(6 & 3). They greeted us and asked who's getting a haircut and we said both of our boys. When they were going to sit, I let the guy know that our 3 year old might not stay still on his own so he'd have to sit on me. The guy that was going to cut it said it was okay but then the other guy immediately said that we would better be off going somewhere else where they have tablets and cars. We have never encountered this at other barber shops we've taken our kids too so I was quite upset about his response. Reason we have it a shot was that I saw that they recently opened, they were very close to me and wanted to give it a try. My husband and older boy did get a cut, but we are not coming back. Shop just opened and I was cared for today by Zack, the owner. Today being Sunday, there wasn't anyone in the shop so it was awesome my not having to wait. Zack has been doing this for years and his work today was evident of his experience. He was extremely attentive to his detail.
