Jungle Juice
Devin V.

Super friendly service and fun atmosphere! Stopped here while waiting for a haircut down the street, and loved the açaí bowl! Only one star off because the smoothie (i got jungle juice) had a slightly off-sour taste, but maybe I just wasn't used to it! Would return

honestly this place puts playa bowls to shame.. i love supporting a small business over a chain anyway but the pink bowl is delicious! the prices are good for the size, and all the fresh fruit.

Delicious acai bowl, they also have smoothies, toasts and juice, it's a large menu with many options. The little shop is cute.

So yummy! I got the power bowl and it was so good. I've been waiting for a place like this to come to Southie for a while. The staff was extremely friendly and the place was really cute & clean. Best of luck to the new owners. I will be back for sure!

A great new juice bar with a nice menu of smoothies, juices and açaí bowls. I am addicted to the berry bowl it is so delicious and perfect for breakfast or lunch! I also love the funky monkey smoothie! They are gaining popularity fast! They have high top tables and some fun decor! A great new addition to the neighborhood!

Love coming here! Very consistent, fresh and tasty açaí bowls! My favorite it the berry bowl with added peanut butter.

BERRY BOWL This was incredible.

Smoothies and toasts are very good but this berry bowl was... bananas. Glad to see a local business take over this spot after it was vacant for so many years.

The COCO BOWL

I had BERRY BOWL my husband had POWER BOWL, we loved. Great location and great services , I give to them 5 stars, but for me is 10 stars

She was so excited when she found Cafe Bonjour because they had several gluten-free options on the menu. We took an Uber there right after we landed and were able to walk right in and get a table when they opened, which worked out perfectly because the place started to fill up! It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating inside, and they also had a nice outdoor parklet that would be great in good weather. We asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was really fun. The menu had all the classic breakfast favorites like eggs and French toast, along with some lunch options like hamburgers and chicken wraps. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the gluten-free eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. I had the Bonjour omelet, and it was delicious. Overall, this is a fantastic breakfast spot with great food, a fun atmosphere, and solid gluten-free options.

Waiter didn't bring out water, didn't offer any cream or sugar for coffees, and was difficult to flag down to ask for extra plates/utensils. The inside is quite cramped and we were shoved into a tiny little corner. Overall a meh place for brunch. The appeal is the convenience of the location. Other than that I'd stop somewhere else for a brunch.

We walked into a relaxed space with a consistently friendly and engaged staff, making the experience feel more personal than a typical fast casual stop. The acai bowl is the foundation of the menu and it delivers reliably, with the base thick enough to hold the toppings without turning into soup partway through. The Nutella bowl is the most popular order, and the combination of the rich spread against the acai base works in a way that feels indulgent without completely undermining the healthier premise of the meal. The mango bowls are a lighter, brighter option for anyone who wants something less earthy than the acai, and the Nica Bowl is another solid choice for a more composed build. The customization options are generous and the staff is helpful in steering you toward combinations that work if you are unsure where to start. Prices land in the eleven to thirteen dollar range, which is on the higher side for the format, though the quality of the fruit and the portion sizes make it feel reasonable once you are eating it. For a post workout meal or a lighter lunch option near Northeastern, Playa Bowls is an easy and reliable choice.

When I'm on travel I love finding places with real, whole foods that don't make me feel like crap…read more I ordered from here every day. The prices are amazing for what you get :D The menu here is HUGE and has tons of options for customization. There are wraps, salads, smoothies, sandwiches, bowls, drinks - so many items to choose from! This place is located in the lobby of the Amazon Seaport Office. I got a Spicy Greek Breakfast Wrap ($13, +$1.50 for egg white sub) and a Santorini Sunrise Yogurt Bowl ($12). The portions are gigantic and the food is fresh. The Platters, both the breakfast and mezze are gorgeous. Pictures attached. The interior has ample seating and is bright and beautiful. They also prep your food impressively quickly given how many orders they seem to get! They get BUSY but I get why - the food is so good.

So far, I am a huge fan of the pita, hummus, labneh, anything with meat (smash burgers and brisket breakfast sando), and they have pretty decent mac. I'm excited to continue eating my way through their options. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. The restaurant is bright and bubbling. The servers are very kind and always helpful with menu questions. It can get quite busy but service moves quick. I have ordered ahead and ordered in person and never had an issue. If you are in a rush around lunch definitely do yourself a favor and order ahead. If you have time, the wait is never usually more than 10-15 mins and goes by quick. Life Alive Organic Cafe is a plant-based café that focuses on fresh, organic meals made with…read morewholesome ingredients. While the menu is entirely vegetarian with many vegan options, it feels approachable whether you are looking for a healthy lunch, a filling dinner, or just a smoothie or coffee. We walked into the Back Bay location, which has a bright, inviting interior filled with natural light, plants, and plenty of seating, creating a calm atmosphere that feels more like a neighborhood café than a typical fast-casual restaurant. The design is modern and clean, with a warm energy that makes it the kind of place where you can enjoy a meal at your own pace, meet a friend, or even spend some time working. The grain and noodle bowls are the main reason to visit. They are built around fresh vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and flavorful sauces that make each bowl feel substantial without being overly heavy. We appreciated that every ingredient tasted fresh, and the different textures kept each bite interesting. The spicy peanut noodles are one of the standout dishes, combining chewy noodles with crisp vegetables and a rich, savory sauce that has just enough heat without overwhelming the rest of the flavors. The falafel is another solid choice, with a crispy exterior and soft interior that pairs well with the fresh vegetables and creamy sauces. Beyond the bowls, there is a good variety of options depending on what you are in the mood for. The menu includes açaí bowls, salads, wraps, soups, smoothies, fresh juices, and coffee, making it easy to stop by at almost any time of day. The menu also changes with seasonal ingredients, giving returning visits some variety while still keeping the café's focus on fresh, healthy food. Even if you are not vegetarian, the meals are filling enough that they never feel like they are missing anything. The café itself has a relaxing atmosphere that encourages you to stay a while. The modern design, abundance of plants, and comfortable seating make it feel much more welcoming than many grab-and-go lunch spots in the area. The ordering process is straightforward, and the staff were friendly throughout our visit. During busier lunch hours, food can take a little longer to prepare since everything is made to order, so keeping that in mind is worth it if you are on a tight schedule. The seating area stays comfortable even when the café fills up, and the energy of the room remains calm and focused. Life Alive Organic Cafe stands out because it proves that healthy food can still be satisfying and full of flavor. The fresh ingredients, diverse menu, and comfortable atmosphere make it an easy place to return to whether you are looking for a quick lunch, a lighter dinner, or simply a break from heavier meals. If you are in Back Bay and want a meal that feels nourishing without sacrificing taste, this is a café well worth adding to your list.
