This review has nothing to do with the food/drinks offered in the store and everything to do with the amazing people who work there. My daughter tripped and fell just as we were passing the store this morning. She hit the ground pretty hard and busted her lip pretty significantly. Not only did they get us water, a wet rag, and napkins, but they also offered to call an ambulance and any other assistance we needed. Thankfully, we were able to get her cleaned up and made it to our destination of the train stop shortly after. However, their kindness and generosity is what helped that take place. Although she is still sore and has a pretty swollen lip, she's doing much better. Thank you to the staff for going above and beyond for people who weren't even customers. If we lived in Boston, we would definitely be back! read more

First time here and kinda rushed my acai bowl order (Rainbow) and got the Vitamin C drink. Drink was good, exactly what I expected. Rainbow was more crunching and chewing of goji berries, but I still plan to return and try other items. One drink I did hear alot when I was there was Beast Mode. I love açaí bowls and this was my first time trying it at Kwench. The cafe is very small, so don't expect to be able to sit there and the service staff were great however my bowl was watery and didn't have the thick consistency that I'm accustomed to from other restaurants. I was charged an extra $2 to add nutella and although I request them not to add the coconut flakes, they still did. I was in a rush and did not have the time to wait for them to make another one. read more

i got the old fashioned smoothie and it was not bad! definitely better than some other smoothies i've gotten, but not the best. the old fashioned smoothie has banana, strawberry, raspberry, granola, almonds and agave. you can also choose to add almond or coconut milk. it was $10.50 ish for a 12oz drink - a bit pricey in my opinion. the staff were nice and patient, and it was well staffed. there are plenty of tables and they also have wifi! overall rating: 8/10 read more

Ridiculously overpriced. Paid $17 for a small two ingredient incredibly tasteless juice and one slice of toast topped with some nut butter and gooey drizzle of honey, all served with annoyed disinterest. As most people have mentioned, no seating. Very much take and go. Every time I come in here there's always a mob of people reading the menu, so if you know what you want just walk up to the register and order - the mob of people are not actually in line. They have a good selection of juices and smoothies. Prices are alright - around 8 or 9$ depending on what you get, add ons start at 1.50$. Seems pretty on par with what everyone else is charging. Ordering is painless and, as far as my experience goes, you can request substitutions and minor veggie add-ins in the smoothies and juices for no extra cost. Juices/smoothies themselves are what you would get anywhere else - when you're blending a bunch of raw fruits and veggies together there isn't much one shop can do to differentiate itself from others. Usually orders come out pretty quickly but sometimes they get really backlogged - once they ran out of some ingredient after having taken a bunch of orders and everyone basically had to wait 20 minutes (a long time for lunch or a drink!) before orders started coming out again. Texture can be a little rough on the smoothies but overall everything tastes really good. Overall, I really like Kwench and their location is super convenient. I don't have a huge sweet tooth so I appreciate that a lot of their drinks are more on the tangy side and not drowning in honey. read more

I love all things avocado. When avocados are in season I love making my own smoothies and shakes at home. My friend wanted to come so I came to try it out and got the Wonderland smoothie. It is AHmazing and contains Avocado,Banana, Apple, Celery, Spinach, Almond milk and Agave. It's a wonderfully sweet and thick smoothie made from all natural ingredients (the store is lined in fresh produce). She got one of the coffee smoothies with protein in it and it was delish as well. I'd def come here after a workout or midday for a meal replacement smoothie since they are filling. Price wise it was about $6.50 for a regular size smoothie. It's on par with other juice places but def $$ for an everyday thing. If you use LevelUp to pay you get $1 off your first visit and $10 after you spend $100. read more

It pains me to give this spot 1 star but I have to because of their consistent shady business practices. Two times now I've ordered a large juice ($10 each) and they gave me a malls ($6 each). Each time they handed me a small and when I said I paid for a large they apologized and offered to remake me a large but it takes so long in the first place who really wants to wait a second time. The first time I was annoyed and brushed it off but the second time (today) I just think they're shady .. It's not that hard to get it right- it's either small or large stop screwing me over Also, they HALF fresh squeeze your juice on the spot and the other half of your juice is some unknown premade juice they fill in. Solid smoothie place in the financial district! The place is tiny and not a good space to stick around but luckily I was just swinging by here after a sweat sesh at b/Spoke. The staff here was really nice and explained to me all their different options. I ended up going with the Beast Mode smoothie and added vegan chocolate protein powder as my post-workout fuel. It was super delicious and something I wish I could recreate just as well at home! I also got one of their wellness shots (lemon, ginger, turmeric, honey) and the only thing I should mention is that they don't prepare it for you on the spot. It makes sense since it can seem like a waste of time to prepare 2-5 oz of juice at a time, but it does lose its appeal a bit since you don't know how long it's been sitting out lol read more

I absolutely love the açaí bowls. I get the classic south station açaí bowl and it's the perfect portion for a mid-day lunch. I have also had the fruit pulse juice but instead of the celery I get carrots (I highly recommend the modification). The bowls and juices are a little expensive but right in the average range of other juice and smoothie places in the area. I have never had a bitter or mushy fruit mixed with my food and it always tastes fresh. I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out! read more

Their in-store menu differs from their online one (not everything that's shown online is available in store). Love this place, happy to have one a short walk from my work. Smoothies and bowls are fresh,tasty and reasonably priced. Ambience good. Wait staff very good, responsive and friendly. Visiting Boston on business and I was craving something healthy near the office. I stumbled upon a juice bar with really nice people. No seating so it's a takeout space. Smells fresh and they don't seem to use powders which I hate. I ordered the Fresh Storm which includes kale; cucumber; banana; Apple; fresh squeezed lemon juice and coconut water. TLDR!! Service was slow even during an off peak time. One of few places that offer acai and pitaya (dragonfruit) bowls. On the pricey side in my opinion ($2 for almond butter add-on, $5 for ginger shots). Probably won't be returning here soon given the many other better juice shop options in the area, especially ones that use organic and local ingredients. They also have limited operation hours mon-fri 7am-6pm only. They're on grubhub too but what's the point if they're closed by the time I get home??!!!??!? I ordered through MealPass for a 230PM pick up and when I got there, my juice was not ready. I found that ironic since MealPass advertises that consumers can just grab and go with their orders. When I got there, I was the only customer inside. This was not surprising since it was after the lunch rush. I was greeted by two workers but still my juice took 5-10 minutes to make!! The service was terrible. I'm actually never spending my money here again. I wish they wore nametags cause I put this dude on blast for his behavior towards me. The whole time he's servicing the people ahead of me in line he continued to shoot me strange glances. Then when it was my turn he walked away from the counter all together. As I'm standing there waiting, he comes back showing no interest and literally staring at me like "what do you want?"... I finally break the silence by saying hi, he reluctantly greets me back then I ask for my order. This whole interaction is slow, rude and disinterested. This little shop has been under construction since before I interviewed for my current job about 8 months ago. When I got the job I thought "great I'll be able to get quality juice while at work!" After what was a long wait for me and what I can only assume was a very painful wait for the owners this shiny new juicery has finally opened its doors. The cafe is small, even by Boston standards, but what it lacks in size and seating it makes up for with charm. Bright colors greet you from about a block away and let you know you're in for some natural nourishment. There is actually no seating, but that's fine, the nature of a juice or smoothie is not to sit around, it's to take it and go. The cashiers have been very friendly, and the staff does a good job preparing the smoothies, juices, shots, and bowls in an efficient manner. The menu is large and there is a good amount of variety. There are fresh pressed juices, a wide assortment of smoothies, plenty of "boosts" to add whatever you're lacking, fancy sounding bowls should you want to do some chewing, and what seems like a great idea juice shots. I just had the ginger, turmeric, lemon and honey, the worker was right "it will wake you up!" I prefer this type of juicery over Kwench's nearest rival in the area Freshii, because Kwench doesn't fuss around with soup and burritos. When you're looking for a juice or a smoothie, go to a store that does juice and smoothies. More importantly, go to Kwench. Fresh ingredients and lots of variety. You can make your own concoction if you like. A bit on the expensive side at $6 for a drink but they do have a frequent customer card to earn a free one. I've gotten the same drink twice and the consistency wasn't the same. I don't drink coffee so this is a good alternative for my afternoon break spot. read more
