South Station South Station Acai Bowl

Looks like they got new containers and downsized portions. I got half a banana and what looks to be 1 full strawberry on the South Station Bowl. Staff are friendly and helpful but this new small container will make me not go back again

i got the old fashioned smoothie and it was not bad! definitely better than some other smoothies i've gotten, but not the best. the old fashioned smoothie has banana, strawberry, raspberry, granola, almonds and agave. you can also choose to add almond or coconut milk. it was $10.50 ish for a 12oz drink - a bit pricey in my opinion. the staff were nice and patient, and it was well staffed. there are plenty of tables and they also have wifi! overall rating: 8/10

Was craving a smoothie bowl, and kwench came to the rescue! Really refreshing south station bowl with granola, strawberries, and banana, and the peanut butter really shone through. I just wish they had greater variety of berries to put on top! Limited seating because it is a very tiny shop, so we had to go eat our bowls elsewhere.

As most people have mentioned, no seating. Very much take and go. Every time I come in here there's always a mob of people reading the menu, so if you know what you want just walk up to the register and order - the mob of people are not actually in line. They have a good selection of juices and smoothies. Prices are alright - around 8 or 9$ depending on what you get, add ons start at 1.50$. Seems pretty on par with what everyone else is charging. Ordering is painless and, as far as my experience goes, you can request substitutions and minor veggie add-ins in the smoothies and juices for no extra cost. Juices/smoothies themselves are what you would get anywhere else - when you're blending a bunch of raw fruits and veggies together there isn't much one shop can do to differentiate itself from others. Usually orders come out pretty quickly but sometimes they get really backlogged - once they ran out of some ingredient after having taken a bunch of orders and everyone basically had to wait 20 minutes (a long time for lunch or a drink!) before orders started coming out again. Texture can be a little rough on the smoothies but overall everything tastes really good. Overall, I really like Kwench and their location is super convenient. I don't have a huge sweet tooth so I appreciate that a lot of their drinks are more on the tangy side and not drowning in honey.

Best place for a smoothie Downtown. Delicious and affordable! Beach Bomb, Gaby, and Marty are my favorite smoothies! Service here is friendly as well.

It pains me to give this spot 1 star but I have to because of their consistent shady business practices. Two times now I've ordered a large juice ($10 each) and they gave me a malls ($6 each). Each time they handed me a small and when I said I paid for a large they apologized and offered to remake me a large but it takes so long in the first place who really wants to wait a second time. The first time I was annoyed and brushed it off but the second time (today) I just think they're shady .. It's not that hard to get it right- it's either small or large stop screwing me over Also, they HALF fresh squeeze your juice on the spot and the other half of your juice is some unknown premade juice they fill in. So not really fresh and make on the spot Not a fan..

I had the Açailicious bowl. I really liked it! It could've had a bit more granola but overall really good. Highly recommended.

Loving my juice cleanse from Kwench!! I did a three day juice cleanse which included a morning smoothie, four juices, and a wheat grass shot. Everything was made on the spot. It was fast and easy. Zhenni helped me personalized my juices. The place is very accommodating to my allergy needs.

Pretty extensive menu for a smoothie place

She was so excited when she found Cafe Bonjour because they had several gluten-free options on the menu. We took an Uber there right after we landed and were able to walk right in and get a table when they opened, which worked out perfectly because the place started to fill up! It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating inside, and they also had a nice outdoor parklet that would be great in good weather. We asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was really fun. The menu had all the classic breakfast favorites like eggs and French toast, along with some lunch options like hamburgers and chicken wraps. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the gluten-free eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. I had the Bonjour omelet, and it was delicious. We walked into a relaxed space with a consistently friendly and engaged staff, making the experience feel more personal than a typical fast casual stop. The acai bowl is the foundation of the menu and it delivers reliably, with the base thick enough to hold the toppings without turning into soup partway through. The Nutella bowl is the most popular order, and the combination of the rich spread against the acai base works in a way that feels indulgent without completely undermining the healthier premise of the meal. The mango bowls are a lighter, brighter option for anyone who wants something less earthy than the acai, and the Nica Bowl is another solid choice for a more composed build. The customization options are generous and the staff is helpful in steering you toward combinations that work if you are unsure where to start. Prices land in the eleven to thirteen dollar range, which is on the higher side for the format, though the quality of the fruit and the portion sizes make it feel reasonable once you are eating it. For a post workout meal or a lighter lunch option near Northeastern, Playa Bowls is an easy and reliable choice.

While the menu is entirely vegetarian with many vegan options, it feels approachable whether you are looking for a healthy lunch, a filling dinner, or just a smoothie or coffee. We walked into the Back Bay location, which has a bright, inviting interior filled with natural light, plants, and plenty of seating, creating a calm atmosphere that feels more like a neighborhood café than a typical fast-casual restaurant. The design is modern and clean, with a warm energy that makes it the kind of place where you can enjoy a meal at your own pace, meet a friend, or even spend some time working. The grain and noodle bowls are the main reason to visit. They are built around fresh vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and flavorful sauces that make each bowl feel substantial without being overly heavy. We appreciated that every ingredient tasted fresh, and the different textures kept each bite interesting. The spicy peanut noodles are one of the standout dishes, combining chewy noodles with crisp vegetables and a rich, savory sauce that has just enough heat without overwhelming the rest of the flavors. The falafel is another solid choice, with a crispy exterior and soft interior that pairs well with the fresh vegetables and creamy sauces. Beyond the bowls, there is a good variety of options depending on what you are in the mood for. The menu includes açaí bowls, salads, wraps, soups, smoothies, fresh juices, and coffee, making it easy to stop by at almost any time of day. The menu also changes with seasonal ingredients, giving returning visits some variety while still keeping the café's focus on fresh, healthy food. Even if you are not vegetarian, the meals are filling enough that they never feel like they are missing anything. The café itself has a relaxing atmosphere that encourages you to stay a while. The modern design, abundance of plants, and comfortable seating make it feel much more welcoming than many grab-and-go lunch spots in the area. The ordering process is straightforward, and the staff were friendly throughout our visit. During busier lunch hours, food can take a little longer to prepare since everything is made to order, so keeping that in mind is worth it if you are on a tight schedule. The seating area stays comfortable even when the café fills up, and the energy of the room remains calm and focused. Life Alive Organic Cafe stands out because it proves that healthy food can still be satisfying and full of flavor. The fresh ingredients, diverse menu, and comfortable atmosphere make it an easy place to return to whether you are looking for a quick lunch, a lighter dinner, or simply a break from heavier meals. If you are in Back Bay and want a meal that feels nourishing without sacrificing taste, this is a café well worth adding to your list.
