We actually stopped here on the way back from the Rocks with Sass location right down the road. The reviews are accurate with the quality of food you received and the staff is super helpful. We just happen to hit the right time to come, lunch time, and the meals were only $6.75! How crazy is that? A full plate of food for under $7. I got the triple delight kung pao edition that had shrimp, chicken, and steak with a ton of veggies and peanuts. The rice was cooked perfect and the portion was spot on. My dining guest had the pepper steak lunch and that was also a ton of food with great flavor. This is going to be my new go-to spot for lunch whenever I am in the Westerville location. I think this used to be a different Chinese restaurant, and this one is pretty new. Same small space, mainly carry out, a few tables there. Pretty standard Chinese menu, although there are also some Thai items and a few Japanese ones. I ended up with the Mongolian triple, and crab Rangoon, my standard tryout dishes. Huge portion for the entrée. Lots of meat, sweet and not overly salty sauce. Decent portion of crab Rangoon, with some actual bits of crab. Well, krab. Decent fried rice, but with no veggies. Reasonable prices. Good service. Very very fast at lunchtime. Lots more interesting stuff on the menu, so I will be back. read more

The lunch special ($6.75) runs from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, and there are 20 choices! Twelve of the choices are chicken. I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice, and the portion was huge. However, it only came with two pieces of broccoli, so I feel they could have better balanced out the chicken, rice, and vegetables. Also, the chef's special sauce is a bit too sweet for me. In the future, I would take this home, make my own portion of vegetables to go with it, and it could easily make a meal for two people. Since this is the only dish I tried, maybe the other sauces are good. The special spicy sauce, brown sauce, or chef special mayo sweet mayonnaise sauce, might be worth a try. The Chef's Special Sweet and Sour Double was very heavily breaded with only small pieces of actual chicken and shrimp and a few small pieces of carrot, pepper and pineapple. Went to the Draft Room a few doors down,and after recommendations from the bar staff, we decided to order. We ordered General Tso's and two spring rolls. The portions we big. The broccoli was fresh and the chicken was white meat not dark. It was saucy and not too spicy The spring rolls were flaky, flavorful and big. We only spent $15 for our entire meal! We were playing trivia at the Draft Room next door and ordered in (since Draft Room doesn't have a proper kitchen). Everything was delicious: Sweet and Sour Shrimp, Red Curry Chicken, Seafood Delight, and Happy Family. Because we had over $30 in food, they included Crab Rangoon on the house. I have been looking for sesame balls in the columbus area FOR YEARS. I nearly cried when I saw these and hoped beyond hope that this is what I have been searching for. It was and it was delicious. We also got crab Rangoon, edamame, and potstickers. All of the items were fully delicious. Theses are items that can easily phoned in or defrosted. Each was fresh and tasty. I've found my go to Chinese restaurant and can't wait to try more. Please never get rid of the sesame balls. They are delicious. We ordered carryout 2 weeks ago and it was delicious. We were long time customers of China Dynasty until it closed during the pandemic. After trying Bamboo Garden we were very pleased with the food. Be warned, it is not really a sit down restaurant. Small location with only two tables along the wall. Only two people working when I as there, one cooking and one working the counter and running the food. Extremely pleasant and friendly. We had wor sue Gai and sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, egg rolls and egg drop soup. Everything was ready and hot when I arrived.
