Decent flower selection, but terrible service. I wish I could recall their names, but depending on which worker you ask, you get different prices. Only the bouqets have prices - not good. The man had the better price. Also, I bought the exact same type of dozen roses as hispanic gentleman in front of me, I overheard the price, and paid $2 more. I doubt coincidence, as I can understand a little Spanish to know it was his 1st time there. That's a bummer. read more

Owner Luz hooked me up - I brought in my planter liners, and she went to town creating interesting & bountiful succulent combos. Prices are unbelievably competitive. I walked away with a sunflower bouquet and three potted combos for $39 - that included labor, soil, and seven mini succy's in each pot! Bamby's is such a better alternative to nursery giants. I stopped in to pick up a few items for the house (the GF loves fresh flowers so this place rules) and all for under $15 bucks Bambi has a ton of potted plants, cut flowers, planted hanging baskets, indoor/outdoor plants, succulents and yard decorations. Giving 3 stars because they have a decent selection. Poor customer service. Was trying to troubleshoot why my prayer plant was doing poorly in it's location and the owner told me "it's not the plant it's the place. You can't put any plant there". Kind of scolded me for asking more saying he has been in the business for 20 years but could not really tell me what conditions the plants required. A great little shop to visit. I had previously driven by Bamby's but figured it was just a flower shop. But during my last visit, we learned that it is more than just a flower shop - they have a whole nursery in the back! There is a large selection of succulents as well as indoor plants. I left with a cute little 2-inch pot succulent (not even sure what it is called, but it was too cute not to take) and a string of dolphins that I have been dying to get my hands on. I will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area. The ladies working there were very sweet. While paying, you are standing in the middle of all their flowers and it is the most wonderful scent to be around. I now know that I can stop by for my plant needs in the future. read more

I love the idea of buying flowers from a florist because it's more personal when you are giving them to a friend/family, and it's fun to pick your flowers from bulk bins rather than the "you get what you get" from your local grocery. My fiancé and I always made a point to stop here when in the village because of the custom reasons listed above. However, our most recent visits were sub par. First, I picked a couple of traditional flowers to have then make me a bouquet....$35!!! I AM NOT KIDDING....$35 for wild flowers.....um, NO. Maybe if there was something exotic there, but there wasn't, so that's just plain wrong. Then, my fiancé got me flowers from there for my birthday, they looked gorgeous, clearly a lot of there "good for one more day" flowers but the bouquet was gorgeous. Brought them home, not only did they last literally one day, BUT THEY CAME WITH PET APHIDS..... I AM NOT JOKING YOU, that is DISGUSTING. Litetally hundreds of them, and don't get me started on this $10-20 bouquet that lasted ONE DAY. Bottom line is, go to the grocery store, make your own. Or just don't buy here. They have run of the mill product at exotic floral pricing....and they NEVER have flower food, and tell you to pour bleach....anyways. Sad I didn't have nicer things to say, but just a fair warning for all of you wondering! read more

As a Hispanic person, I am shock how this couple can get away with a business here in the states with the most unfriendly service. Doesn't even represent the welcoming Hispanic vibe. This is my second time stopping by, the first time I spend around $80/$90. I was looking today to add some more plants to my apartment. First I took a walked to look at the plants and when I was ready and saw the lady available. I asked her a couple questions, she answer quickly while at the same time trow water the ground and got my feet wet, she apologize but it was not sincere, she told me go talk to her husband. I should have leave by then. Then this man was such a rude person, we spoked in Spanish, he tried to sale me some sick albahaca that already got eat by bugs, I decide to take another plant. I star asking him questions about a plant that I just saw, like what is it call this plant, his answer is PLANT. And then he proceed to tell me my question doesn't make sense, I said well we can spoke in English if you want, his answer was no it's okay. What a sad scenery, a business is open, they have costumer and they are just angry and sarcastic. I told him, it seems you are not in the mood to agreed your Costumers or provide a excellent service. I think I am going to go, which he yelled at me, thanks for make waste my time. Home Depot and Leucadia have good nursery and beautiful plants. read more

Customer service here is terrible! This place has just lost their customer. I decided to stop at this small nursery to get some flowers and plants after my yoga class that is next door to this business. As I was walking through the nursery I realized that I forgot my wallet at home. Ugh!! The sales lady first seemed to be very friendly but when I told her that unfortunately I don't have my wallet on me she refused to answer any of my questions about any of their plants and their prices. She said "why don't you come back when you have your wallet". I was a little shocked.... How rude!! I live five minutes from that nursery, I drive past it every single day and would definitely go home to grab the money however I felt that it was such a HORRIBLE WELCOME. I called two floral shops in Oceanside - One wanted me to go online would not take order over the phone. I called Bamby's and they took the order over the phone - took time to say what flowers were available - listened to what I wanted and delivered with only a few hours notice. The customer service was outstanding and nice to talk to someone that cared about what I wanted- not be directed to photos on a website like the other shop I contacted. Amazing service!!! I called from Orange County to arrange for 55 roses (50 red and 5 white) for my parents 55th wedding anniversary. They made a stunning arrangement with an emerald green bow (symbolizes 55th) and even texted me photos before they delivered it to the house. The arrangement is huge and very classy.
