Dr Bamford has very poor bedside manner, she is very impatient and abrupt, not a listener. I felt belittled during the consultation! Also, she is always late. read more

My practitioner was Dr. Emilie Staehr who was nice initially but comes across as a very transactional doctor. Don't go in to an appointment expecting more than a 10 minute discussion. As a last resort, I'm sure there are worse clinics out there- but I would recommend seeking treatment elsewhere for anything ongoing and if you have the time there are plenty of clinics in the area which offer bulk billing. -Michael

I arrived early for my appointment, was seen early and was back in the car heading before my actual booking time. The offices are clean and quite new, you could still smell the paint, there is a kids area in the waiting room, several doctors offices and a large waiting room. The staff are friendly and quick at getting you in if you're new, all I needed was my Medicare card and to confirm my address and phone number. Bulk billing makes this even better, once finished with the doctor I was ready to leave, nothing else had to be done.

Tracey Cook as a…read morefantastic reputation and has helped so many people I know, that I was happy to book an appointment and see what she had to say about my health. She is particularly popular with people looking for help with conception. One of the best things about Tracey is she can give you an ideal diet and exercise plan (if required), but she'll also give you some real life alternatives as she knows we're not all puritans. She also prescribes Mediberb, the liquid herbs that are mixed to suit your needs. The centre has a counsellor of whom I've heard great reports and a really good remedial massage therapist. A few years ago I saw a more touchy feeling massage woman here. Not sure if she's still there, but she's good if you're into that style. The storefront stocks lots of health remedies and some gorgeous gifts. It's worth stopping in here even if you aren't seeing one of the practitioners. They also do fresh juices to order, which are great for a quick pick me up.

I'm completely morally opposed to any place that sells pizza and chips. I find it highly disturbing. But for the price, this place does a pretty good job of the pizza. I haven't brought myself to order chips, though. The service is quick, the ingredients are of acceptable quality, and it's cheap. You really can't go too far wrong with this place. It's a much better option than Domino's.

We each had an hour massage and a session in the infra red sauna, followed by a quiet champagne 'party' in a lovely room. An amazing food platter went with it. Two of the four of us have back problems. I have scheuermann's disease and scoliosis, and one of my guests has a bad back and neck from a car accident injury. Both of us suffer pain 24/7 but after these treatments we felt nothing! We all agreed we would love to go back to Temple Day Spa. It is the best venue for beauty and body treatments I have ever visited. I'm recommending to everyone! Perfect day.

I chose firm, not really knowing what firm was like. Then you sit in a dimly-lit waiting room to drink water or tea if you like. Your masseuse then comes and gets you when they are ready. I booked a one hour hot stone massage, so assumed it would be just placing hot stones on your back, but no. Along with the oil you are massaged with the hot stone rocks as well, which feels amazing. The rooms are also dimly-lit, even dimmer, as you lay in darkness listening to bird and monkey sounds. I was then told to turn over so my arms and legs could be done, including my head. A towel was placed over my eyes and there was some reiki. I found it very relaxing and left me with a strange feeling of happiness. I'd love to come back and try what else is on the menu.

The clinic is run by the University of South Australia and is staffed by fourth year students from the Physiotherapy degree. Don't stress about receiving below-par treatment though, because there is always several tutors on and the students have to report to them constantly about their patients and their thoughts for treatments. The sessions are so cheap at $10 for the first hour consultation and then $5 after that for every half hr consultation. There is also rarely a long waiting period and if you rang up on any given day it should not take more than a couple of days to get you booked in. Their range of services include: * Back, neck and limb pain * Sports injuries * Orthopaedic injuries (including rehabilitation after surgery) * Headaches * Repetition strain injuries, overuse syndromes and other work related problems * Movement related disorders. They will also come up with a selection of exercises that you can take home with you which will help you continue with your treatment plan long after you have gone home.

This is a positive thing because due to limited funding and government interest the whole area of education surrounding this most difficult disease has grown quite small, similar with HIV/AIDS; to the extent that even someone as great a role model as the Prime Minister of our country (Julia Gillard at the moment) does not even bother to mention World AIDS Day or wear a ribbon for it, yet there was a time not so long ago when all politicians would make it their business to promote things such as safer sex education and community education programs concerning sexually transmitted infections. Sadly it is left to underfunded community organisations these days. The education services for people with Hep are very important; showing them how to keep safe from other infections, to not infect their partners, family and friends.
