The sessions are so cheap at $10 for the first hour consultation and then $5 after that for every half hr consultation. There is also rarely a long waiting period and if you rang up on any given day it should not take more than a couple of days to get you booked in. Their range of services include: * Back, neck and limb pain * Sports injuries * Orthopaedic injuries (including rehabilitation after surgery) * Headaches * Repetition strain injuries, overuse syndromes and other work related problems * Movement related disorders. They will also come up with a selection of exercises that you can take home with you which will help you continue with your treatment plan long after you have gone home.

There are almost no words to describe how incredible it was. From start to finish, everything was perfect! I was looked after by Carly. She welcomed me warmly and presented me with a cup of herbal tea, and also offered me the opportunity to customise my treatment (which I did). There was a short questionnaire about my needs and expectations (how firm do I like my massage? how much talking would I like during my treatment? do I have any specific areas which I would like to focus on today? etc). The treatment room I was ushered into was beautifully appointed (two massage tables so could be used for a couples treatment - I am looking forward to trying that sometime!). The music playing was really relaxing and just to my taste (such a nice change from Enya and the other cliche soundtrack which I have become accustomed to in some other similar establishments!). Their robes are divinely soft, their skincare products and oils all smelled divine and left me feeling like a Queen. My treatment began with a relaxing footbath and foot massage, then a full body massage, followed by a facial. It was exquisite! I have previously visited some wonderful day spas for massage and facial treatments, including Jurlique and other high end places, but this is far and away the best of all. Instead of just jumping in and crunching your back, he will start by releasing the muscle tension around the area so that the spine doesn't go straight back out of alignment again. The Clinic is located in what used to be a State Bank building. It isn't the slickest looking place but that is probably a good thing as in my experience the slicker something looks the less time and energy is spent on the clients. One of my favourite receptionists, Pauline always greets me with a smile and a chat and is very efficient. Last year Greg trained up an enthusiastic young chiropractor, Adam, and he has been a great protege. These days I probably see Adam more often than Greg and he is every bit as good as his mentor. So whoever you end up seeing here, you can't go wrong.

I booked a one hour hot stone massage, so assumed it would be just placing hot stones on your back, but no. Along with the oil you are massaged with the hot stone rocks as well, which feels amazing. The rooms are also dimly-lit, even dimmer, as you lay in darkness listening to bird and monkey sounds. I was then told to turn over so my arms and legs could be done, including my head. A towel was placed over my eyes and there was some reiki. I found it very relaxing and left me with a strange feeling of happiness. I'd love to come back and try what else is on the menu.

I've only really been in here to buy some tea, but I just love the aesthetics of the place, all the strange jars and boxes and diagrams of the human body with the pressure points marked. The little man who runs the place is cool and friendly and was very helpful with my inane inquiries as to what it was all about. I still don't really understand though.

I mainly get sport (martial arts) related injuries like pulled muscles in the legs, arms and back. He is really skilled at finding the problem and massaging it out. He also helps me with giving me stretches and exercises to prevent them in the future. I always feel like I'm moving forward with his help. Old injuries go away and it helps me push myself to the next level in my training. New injuries appear and they are dealt with quickly. I'd never consider going to a physio again. He has the perfect mix of hands-on therapy and self-care advice.

This is a positive thing because due to limited funding and government interest the whole area of education surrounding this most difficult disease has grown quite small, similar with HIV/AIDS; to the extent that even someone as great a role model as the Prime Minister of our country (Julia Gillard at the moment) does not even bother to mention World AIDS Day or wear a ribbon for it, yet there was a time not so long ago when all politicians would make it their business to promote things such as safer sex education and community education programs concerning sexually transmitted infections. Sadly it is left to underfunded community organisations these days. The education services for people with Hep are very important; showing them how to keep safe from other infections, to not infect their partners, family and friends. Treatment options and alternative therapies that contribute to the overall wellness of people. Started by people for people.
