I had heard good things about Mr. Bamieh and Chad Erickson so I signed the retainer agreement with Anzac Jacobs (another attorney at that firm) and paid the $5,000.00 upfront for a DUI case in Ventura. I was as honest as possible when it came to what had happened the night of my arrest, so I was very surprised when Anzac received the police report and basically told me there was nothing he could do for me. I was told to find a new job and prepare for my entire life to change without a fight or defense from the lawyer I had retained for just that purpose. I hired a different lawyer before my next DMV hearing in the hopes that at least they would try to find a defense for me. I tried to get a least a partial return of the fees I had paid to Mr. Bamieh's office and still have not received a response so I will have to go through fee arbitration with the Ventura County Bar Association. If you want to pay a lawyer$5,000.00 to tell you, "You are screwed, there is nothing I can do," by all means, hire one of these guys. read more
