However, you must keep a ledger of all your phone calls and emails because they charge you for every little thing, dates and amounts did not add up. The law firm states that they are fair and reasonable with fees and what they charge, well there not! and when I wanted to question some of the fees/charges with Mr. Boula, he got upset, he acted like he was beyond reproach and suggest that we part ways if I'm not happy. I asked him "why I would do that, because the case is almost over. I have a right to question anything about the case, especially when it comes to the money. After the last and final court date for the distribution of funds, I felt that we were charged twice (in the $ thousands) from my mother's Estate, which of course was NOT fair! also, I never heard from Mr. Boula again, I thought he would at least send me a closing email, but he didn't! At the same time mom and dad were in the hospital just on different floors. Dad with the stroke and mom with pneumonia. This last stroke paralyzed dad putting him in a nursing home. Mom and dad could not afford the nursing home bills along with their home mortgage & utilities. Nancie and her partners helped us find funding for the nursing home and keep mom in their home. Shortly after mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. We were able to take care of her at her home and give her an additional 3.5 years to spend with her family.
