Because I am a woman in my mid forties, I HAD to try one of their specials aptly named "Hello Kitty"; but make her hot! I do love a strong hazelnut flavor to my lattes and this gal didn't disappoint. Very smooth, zero irritation on the stomach, with a smidge of a caramel kick at the end. Requested oat milk out of preference - or maybe habit? - but she was wonderful. I had my eyes on a few of those cupcakes in their display case and never mind those breakfast sammies listed on their menu... next time, next time... Can we talk about their study rooms for a minute?! Where was this when I was deep in the studies?! Perfect place for a small gathering of sorts, especially in their $20/hr conference room. But those bathroom stall doors... does that green not just make you happy?! If urban coffee shops filled with art from local artists, big plush comfy couches, lived in comfy chairs, or just dig the vibe of a downtown coffee shop, try them! If you aren't a coffee lover, there's other drinks on the menu for indulgent purposes, along with some pretty neat combos; flavored cold foams with such-and-such...

The desserts are SO good, and the coffee and tea varieties are awesome. Good selection of herbal teas and drinks if you're avoiding caffeine--I got an iced hibiscus and chamomile tea blend that was superlative. Super friendly staff. Really patient and kind when I realized I hadn't specified decaf for my coffee drink, and remade it immediately. Can't wait to return for open-mic night or one of their other events! There are many permanent displays about Omaha history, and there are train cars you can walk through; enthusiastic docents are often there to answer any questions. There are temporary exhibits here as well, and in the summers they will have something cool that the whole family will enjoy. There are lots of programs here, many of them free with admission or membership. I do recommend getting a membership if you think you might want to come at least a couple times in a year. And you probably will want to! There is a soda fountain/snack bar area. The ice cream is great! The food is okay. It's a museum and not a lunch destination. The museum is located right next to Omaha's Old Market.

It was built in 1931 in the Art Deco style and designed by LA architect Gilbert Stanley Underwood. The museum has lots of photographs and examples of materials used that would be a delight for all those interested in architecture. Downstairs was the train depot and where you can go inside and sit in the train cars. Most of the rooms appeared to be part of their permanent collection, but part of the downstairs area has rotating exhibits. The exhibit on display was "The Negro Motorist Green Book" which you may be familiar with if you watched the 2018 film "Green Book." I had a great time at the museum and would return, although check the calendar as I went when the NE SciFest going on and I prefer calmer museum visits. Still, definitely would recommend checking it out!

I enjoyed the crunch and freshness of the broccolini and Klamato olives for that added punch of flavor .... The citrus herb grilled chicken had a lightness to it..herbs made it even more delicious.another of my absolute favorite was the hearty roasted squash soup ...topped with sunflower seeds for taste and texture. last but not least the berry cobbler...cherries, strawberries, topped with crispiness .it was a sweet light dessert for the win ..then the best part that completed the perfect night for ME was when I was nominated for Rookie of the year ...and surprisingly enough I won...I humbly accepted my award...smiled the rest of the night...knowing my journey has just begun! The staff was amazing ...the service was top notch ...the bar had lots of options ...well stocked and organized ...the Photo Booth was perfect for making our memories permanent Marguerite who painted our portrait demonstrated how she saw us through her eyes...loved the retro yet sophisticated imagines she created for us!
