Overall, they've been pretty good. But I have to say.... Don't post your actual schedule as 8:00am to 8:30pm (0800-2030) if you're just outsourcing jobs to wherever/whomever, and customer has to call about half a dozen times and their husband as to do it also, because it's 92 degrees upstairs by 3pm. It's a bit expensive and a tad misleading and a fairly unpleasant thing when you were led to believe that paying an extra yearly fee meant that someone would actually come over in a timely manner. This is a top-notch outfit. They've gone above and beyond in help us manage a difficult situation at our house in Pipe Creek. Our AC unit was leaking and they were willing to show up several times to fill it up (even on a Sunday) to keep the house cool while a new unit was being shipped. During the installation the team worked their tail off to get the job done in an extremely difficult attic. When it took extra time to get done the owner showed up at 8pm to apologize. I had the distinct displeasure of dealing with this company and the owner, Phillip. Was looking for them to finish a job they'd started- Installation of new HVAC, thermostats, returns, etc. Got a massive run-around from them regarding the work and how they couldn't do it. Asked the owner Phillip a question. He blew up at me and called me a "Smart Ass". Unbelievable! Will NEVER NEVER NEVER recommend this company to anyone! I called Band Aire earlier in the week and scheduled an appointment for 2 days later in the week I was told they would call me an hour before they come out to bid my job of 3 new mini split units to be installed. The office told me it would be around 12 to 1:00. I called their office at 1:50 and they told me that they would see were my estimator is and call me back. (No one called me back from their office and at 3:15 the estimator called, I told him that it seems your to busy and that it looks like that my money is not good enough. He told me to have a good day and then hung up. If you are looking for HVAC service or new installation please take the time to look for a company that will keep the schedule they set of you or at least call you that they are running behind. Time is money and you should not have to wait when you are working around the appointment you had made 2 days before. Right after xmas we had to have our old propane-fueled furnace replaced because it had become a fire hazard. We got 3 bids because a new electric unit, duct, vents, etc is very costly. Band-Aire was a little lower than the other bids and we've been pleased with their work in the past (always prompt, fix problem right, easy to work with) so they got it. This was a BIG job taking out old and installing new unit in our attic. Phillip and his crew worked diligently until finished. Took about 3 days. Our new system is awesome, so quiet, and now have a wifi thermostat. Highly recommend this company!! read more

Before calling this company I had someone else come to my house to look at the a/c unit. That wasn't a pleasant experience and I felt taken advantage of. It's hard to go without a/c in July and the unit still wasn't working right so I decided to call Band-Aire (I had seen one of their trucks on the road a couple days before). Immediately I was put at ease with the lady (Belinda) who answered the phone!! She was extremely friendly and polite. I was lucky enough to have the owner (Philip) come to my house. He was as friendly and polite as the lady who answered the phone. He listened to everything I had to say about what was going on with the a/c unit and got to work. I have full confidence in knowing it was fixed. I will call this company the next time I have a/c or heating problems. I will also be spreading the word on what an amazing company this is!! read more
