He upgraded the furnace venting configuration, installed a new vent cap on my roof, and checked all functions of my system and thermostat. Later I found out that Anthony is the company owner! They checked all the seals and left me feeling perfectly confident in the dependability of my new system. This company is a class act. Great, honest, and dependable service. We bought a used home, our proud fixer upper... We started with getting a mini split installed in our garage. We are very happy with it. Bravo Air gave good recommendations for our needs. From the time I called to the moment they left after install, everything is professional, timely, communicated well and cleanly installed. We feel like VIPs and always feel like we are the priority. Now fast forward 6 months and our aging central air system was no longer cooling. We remembered the great job they did with our mini split system so we called... Again, great service. For the first time while living in this house, I slept with an outside door open. When I woke up this morning, I did a quick Yelp search for AC service in my neighborhood. Quan Air was the the highest rated and all the reviews pointed out their professionalism. I emailed from the website, then called. I know that's a lot for 7:30 am, but it's humid in SATX and I couldn't stand feeling awful for another night or two. Amber called me back a few minutes later and managed to get us on the schedule today. Andy showed up about 20 minutes earlier than the window, but I'm fine with it because it's 82° with 72% humidity at 11 am. Andy pointed out some maintenance things, this is my first air conditioner. It was helpful to learn all the things to do that will save us money and keep our AC running. He also replaced a motor, rinsed our AC vents, and checked the condensation pans in the attic. He helped me install the replacement filters I found in my closet. Thanks a million for saving us from the humidity.

This is an unusual trait in service technicians who usually display a "I know more than you" attitude. We found this approach refreshing and very appealing. He spent extra time to diagnose, research, and attempt to find replacement parts, while keeping us informed of his progress. Another company's tech quoted a $1600 job WITHOUT a full diagnostic. Service First provided a full diagnostic (gratis) AND fixed the problem in one call. Outstanding. Like any repair company, shop around...but if you land on Service First you may have a winner.

We hired this company a little over a year ago to replace three AC units in our house. We got two…read morebids and His bid was the lowest we got so we hired him. Since day one, one of the units upstairs did not work well. He came back a few times and did some work, this dragged a few months and as the weather was cooler we did not notice any issues and thought it is fixed. Recently we had to go in our attic and noticed that the unit he had put in in the attic is not sealed well so it is leaking air, and it feels cool in the attic!!! We called him, He came back to look at it, he charged us again to fix it because its been a little over a year and his warranty is over! a couple of days later we went in the attic to check it and noticed it is still leaking cool air in the attic!!! we called him back and he is not answering our calls, we have left him messages and he is not returning our calls. Be aware of this company. They may give you a good price but do shady work. I am very disappointed to say the least.

He was very transparent with what the process of the maintenance would be, as well as the cost. Throughout the inspection he took pictures to show us, explained the different readings and whether it was considered in range or not, and he suggested a couple of ways to optimize our HVAC system/additional preventative maintenance without being pushy about it.
