EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS! BOB PLESSINGER is the BEST!…read more I was very lucky to get introduced to Bob via Redfin in Dallas. I started using Redfin initially because 1) I was doing a remote search from San Francisco 2) I love technology and the alerts and open houses made it simple to tour homes Bob and I talked at great lengths over the phone about what we were looking. He listened with great care and helped us make suggestions. With Redfin, it's easy to tour homes. There were a few times, we went with another team member/touring agent because it fit into our schedule, not just Sat, Sun and Tues. After touring about 30 homes and condos, Bob helped us figure out neighborhoods and homes that would fit us because he listened to our needs. We initially thought we wanted to live in a high rise condo when we first started. So over time as we toured each home, I could see Bob inspect homes and give us advice about how to fix things up. He is extremely detailed oriented and knows a lot about home improvement as he himself has built/remodeled multiple homes. So as we narrowed down options, we finally put an offer on a house, but ultimately, we were out cashed. We put an offer on another house that we also loved and followed the process through. Bob patiently explained the whole process with inspections, earnest money, etc. He also helped us make recommendations on the offer price and down payment. Well 1 day before we would love lost our earnest money, I got a Redfin email alert that the first house came back on the market. With Redfin, we may not have known in time! Bob already went through almost the entire process to close on the 1st house and now we had to do it again! The one moment when I knew that Bob was the best agent was when we were driving in California and it was 11:00 pm so in Dallas, it was 1:00 am! Bob knew we had a touch decision and went above and beyond to speak to us and give us great advice. He was even able to negotiate some money back from the owners since the inspection was worse than we thought. Needless to say, Bob was there at every step, all inspections, closing and most importantly, he was there for us emotionally. I still stay in touch with Bob and he has given me more advice on pool, flooring and even furniture shopping! He is delightful to work and I highly recommend him! PROs: - Bob was easy to communicate with. He responded to every text, e-mail or phone call in a speedy manner especially given the distance and time zone differences. - Bob is extremely knowledgeable about the Dallas neighborhoods and gave us pro/cons. - Bob has a rolodex of resources for inspections, mortgage brokers, experts for AC, Pool, flooring, electrical, etc. It made the process fast and seamless and is now helpful as we already moved in. - Bob's entire team was incredible to work with - Pam, Sean and Justin. You don't just get 1 agent at Redfin, you get a team that works for you! CONs: - Bob has to sleep a few hours a night.
