The Wellness Plan is pricey, but it does save you money and is good for keeping your pet care on track.

I like the plans and the vets but ever since COVID it sucks you don't get one on one time. As well the vet techs are kinda rude.

Dr. Lee hands down the rudest Vet I've ever had the displeasure of talking to. Never again.

Long story here, but I have an extremely anxious cat. The last time I took him here, they gave up…read moreon any shots outside of rabies and advised an all indoor cat didn't need to come in yearly. Fast forward a couple years, my cat had a night where he was in a lot of pain and we took him to the airport emergency vet (they did great, but dang that bill was high). Turns out, he likely has mega colon and they gave a few medications to help. Our cat massively improved. Yay! But, we contacted our primary vet (VCA) for assistance with an ongoing prescription for the medicine. First, they were very rude about our cats not being patients because we hadn't been to them in a while. Though, they advised us to come in less. Calling our cat a problem. So, I go to this check up just so they can prescribe the medicine that is already working. At the appointment, they are very rude about everything. My cat was due for a rabies vaccine and the tech essentially said if he bit him, they would have to cut off his head. So, I offer to scruff and hold my cat for the shots and stuff. But, anytime I asked questions they were really dismissive and rude. They also left the room without helping me get him back in the crate. Then, we get to checkout and they give me a paper on how to order his medicine home delivery through their app. I asked questions on pricing and how it worked and got told it was super easy and I would see it in the app. I go home and set up an account where no prescriptions show, though they said it would. I call back and they say they will figure it out. They call back to get my card info over the phone, but don't have any pricing for me. They say they will get pricing and call me back by end of day. They didn't call back that day. So, the next day I get a call that they don't think my cat needs the two prescriptions and just to keep doing an over the counter medicine. I said, no he has massively improved on the current routine and the entire reason I went in was to get prescribed what he needs. Which they agreed at the appointment was the right medication! I ask for a paper prescription I can go get filled somewhere else, they again say they will call me back. Now, this is my first time ever getting an ongoing medication for a pet. So, an entirely new process for me. I find online Chewy has a good system and affordable prices. I go to chewy and order where it has me select VCA to approve the medicine that requires a prescription. I called and left a voicemail asking they approve the prescription and I hope they do. But, working with this VET has been a nightmare. We were treated very poorly and they had no interest in helping my cat get what was needed. I highly suggest using someone else.

The whole staff was extremely attentive and caring. Doctor Puterbaugh provided treatment that had a very positive and immediate effect. The doctor also made recommendations about testing that should be done. Unfortunately, the testing showed an almost certain terminal illness. The doctor took a good deal of time explaining the situation and answering all of my questions. Michaela also took time to speak to me on several occasions. I was able to have a few more months with my girl, to spoil her and spend time together. Earlier in the week when it was clear she could not go on, the staff at VCA, managed to clear time to see us. Everyone was incredibly caring and, even though I think they gave up their lunch hour to see us, took a tremendous amount of time to make my golden and I comfortable. It is difficult to express how much having caring people treating our best friends helps in difficult times. Thanks everyone at VCA

I struggled with what I was going to review for the big 250 - there were a few good contenders but…read moreI decided to praise a small but important little place to us. We picked this vet based on a handful of reviews and proximity to our home. It was named different back then and we had a great intro appointment and were able to quickly treat a worm problem she had from the shelter when we first got her. They were very good with her despite the fact that she is a total spaz. Since that first visit, we've had to utilize them a handful of times. A couple of moments worth mentioning...first, we had one morning where our dog was throwing up a small amount of blood, we gave them a call and they gave us some suggestions to try at home which worked great and we didn't have to pay for an appointment! That's some good customer service. Most importantly, my husband came home one day after work to our dog having a seizure. Needless to say, we were quite panicked. We gave them a call shortly before they were supposed to be closing that day and they were kind enough to let us bring her in right then to see her instead of having to go to some random emergency place. Not only did they make sure she was doing ok but they calmly explained the next steps for potentially caring for an epileptic dog. We felt much better and prepared when we left there. They even gave her a little toy and were very sweet to her since she was also pretty shaken by the experience. They've also helped fix her allergy skin issues and the random infected eye she had and most importantly our dog has been seizure free since starting her medication. We have had great experiences so far with Glasglow.

I have taken my dogs, Banana and Emma, to Glasgo Memorial Veterinary Hospital several times, and my…read moreexperience has been frustrating and disappointing. Yes, they are transparent about pricing--but it often comes across as transactional. The focus on costs happens immediately, sometimes before there is even a proper greeting or any attention given to the animal. The exception is Dr. Glasgo, who has been kind and attentive, especially with my dog Banana. Unfortunately, that level of compassion has not been my experience with the rest of the staff or veterinarians. Over four visits with my German Shepherd, Emma, who suffers from perianal fistulas, not once did I feel genuine care or empathy toward her condition. The interactions have consistently felt rushed and impersonal. The pricing structure is also difficult to justify. Everything is billed separately--exam, labs, testing, medications--and even basic services like a nail trim are an additional $30. At these price points, it would be reasonable to expect some of these routine services to be included in the exam fee. Despite significant costs (over $700 for a visit, plus $500 in medications), there has been no effort to establish a long-term care plan or provide meaningful guidance on managing Emma's condition at home. Instead, the expectation is frequent return visits without clear direction, which feels more like a business model than patient-centered care. There is also a noticeable disconnect in customer experience. A sign in the lobby warns that rude behavior will not be tolerated, yet the tone from staff can feel cold and unapproachable--especially if you ask questions. I find it hard to reconcile my experience with the very high online ratings. It leaves me wondering if others have had similar experiences but haven't spoken up. I understand veterinary care has evolved and costs have increased over the years, but compassion, communication, and respect should not be optional--especially at this level of pricing. One day after posting this review the vet sent me a text: After reviewing your concerns in your review, it is clear that we have not been able to provide the level of service and care you are looking for in a veterinary hospital. A strong relationship between a client and their veterinary team is built on mutual trust and confidence. Based on your review, it appears that trust has been lost. For that reason, we feel it is in the best interest of both you and our team to cancel your upcoming appointment. We believe you and your pets will be better served by a veterinary practice that is a better fit for your expectations and communication style. If you would like your pets' medical records forwarded to another veterinary hospital, please let us know where you would like them sent, and we will be happy to do so promptly to help ensure continuity of care. We sincerely wish Banana and Emma all the best and hope you are able to find a practice that meets your needs.
