We've been going to Dr. Brady and the BAC team for over 10 years now. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is modern, clean, and spacious. There is no one I would trust more than Dr. Brady with my fur babies! She is always willing to look into new information or consults with other veterinary experts. We had been having troubles with integrating a new cat with the resident cats. She referred us to a great behaviorist who provided some awesome recommendations. We've moved farther from Brownsburg now, but I still drive the extra distance for the best care with an awesome team. read more

At first I was like " this place is great!" The vet and tech were awesome. Then. When the meds went really doing the trick after 2 weeks I was basically treated like I was a problem. Several days of trying to get new meds and calls and emails and it seemed like I was I begging for help...then they gave me 3 pills and when I asked if there were special instructions? I take my precious baby dog here, and I have been nothing but thrilled with the care they provide. This is the most thorough vet I have ever taken a pet to. They do not push unnecessary services but do give you plenty of information to make informed decisions on your pets' needs. They did a teeth cleaning service for my Gertie that really helped with her stinky breath and tartar buildup on her teeth. The techs and the vets are all amazing and highly skilled. read more

I had FOUR horrible experiences at this location and would never want someone to be treated in the same way. First time I went, the clinic struggled finding her bordatella vaccine on her adoption papers and shamed me for not having one. They said she would have to be in the car next time and that I could get other dogs sick. They eventually found the vaccination and apologized profusely. Second experience, got her nails trimmed and they charged me extra for her "snapping" and having to put a muzzle on. I have NEVER seen her snap before so found this shocking. Third experience, they took a urinalysis for her UTI. They LOST the urinalysis and only realized it when I CALLED. They "were very thankful I called" because they wouldn't have known otherwise. Had there been a bigger health issue two weeks later, it would've been on them. I went back today and they couldn't get a urinalysis so they recommended anti anxiety medication for her.... My dog shows no signs of anxiety but only gets amped when she's put on her backed and has a needle poked in her (reasonably). I would never want someone else to have this kind of experience so that's why I put this review out there. Save yourself frustration and money and go somewhere else. read more

I've been a regular at this veterinarian for a while for my 4 cats and 3 dogs, but I won't be coming back. We just adopted a dog, and he came back with an eye infection which spread to the other 2 dogs within 24 hours. It's not a severe infection, but it's an eye infection and should be taken seriously. We already had appointments set for next week for all them, but I called today to try and get even one of them in for an appointment to get some simple antibiotic eye drops. Nope. The vet has to see all 3 of them first. Well, can you get them in for an appointment sooner than next week? Nope, you'll have to go to an emergency vet. SERIOUSLY!?!? They can't even get one of them in for an appointment, especially for a customer with seven pets that spends around $10,000/yr on veterinary care? I'm not asking them to perform a surgery here, I just needed something that I can buy online and that isn't even a controlled substance. We're talking about something safer than Tylenol here. Well, that's going to end up being a pretty costly business decision since I'm switching to another veterinarian. read more

I can't recommend this place enough. We had to put down our 2 year old dog for aggression issues this week and the staff was all very thoughtful and comforting. He had been a patient at the clinic since birth and they have worked with us to try and exhaust all of our options before euthanasia. They eased a difficult situation even though we miss our sweet puppy dearly. read more

Well considering it was a first visit with strangers my dog was a little nervous, they insisted on a technician holding my dog down instead of me doing when I volunteered to calm her down. She showed no signs of aggression but was just all around unfamiliar with them, she's a Collie Australian Shepherd mix. Upon the end of the exam the vet continued to push antianxiety meds for my dog. I heard her out but I asked specific questions about what the medication was and how the medication was metabolized and the Vet was clueless. For being so eager to prescribe and get another charge out of the visit she didn't seem to know anything about the drug just kept repeating "it just takes the edge off". Deep down I was thinking well I hear heroine does that too but I'm not giving that to my dog. The Next issue was when they were going to give a heart worm exam and a giardia exam. I responded no thank you. But the Vet kept insisting to the point of being condescending. I stayed calm and respectful but told her no, as my dogs are home dogs with a backyard and not around other dogs, the risk is low. Also considering the fact that since they were tested as puppies they have never been off the medication. Which is more of a concern for individuals who give the medication seasonally. The vet additionally denied our heart worm prescription from our provider later because we didn't do a test which in my opinion is borderline extortion. Pay us for an exam or you can't keep giving preventative medication to your animals. Well we are going elsewhere, your policies are misguided and your vets don't seem to understand the medications they provide. Its a shame because we wanted it to work. Incompetent and condescending. Hope others have better experiences. read more

I have taken my dog here twice and they make her feel comfortable, plus they get everything done quickly. The waiting area is calm and well decorated, not the typical clinical appearance. They do most of their basic testing in house and they can explain things in simple language. I habe never had any issues with the staff or their treatment of my dog and I doubt I ever will. read more

The first time I went to the Brownsburg Animal Clinic was about 1 1/2 years ago when I noticed that my cat had a problem. One of the vets, Dr. Brady diagnosed her with cancer of the breast and I was given 3 options of treatment. I chose surgery for her and I cannot tell you how kind, considerate and caring the medical group was to both Sophie and me. I left her there and they took such good care of her. I was called daily and given updates on her condition. I even received calls from a vet after hours. I picked her up 4 days later and nursed her back to health. The cancer Sophie had was invasive and even with surgery I was informed that they couldn't get it all. We had followup office visits for Sophie and I began taking all our other animals there. In July Sophie began to have problems. Which were addressed but she continued to decline. So, on 9/11 I took Sophie to see Dr. Brady for the last time. Everyone was so kind to us both. They treated Sophie with such tenderness in her final moments. I was in the room with her and cannot tell you how much I appreciated everything they did. Kelly and Dr. Brady will forever be in my heart along with Sophie. My thanks to everyone who works there for all they do...every day. read more

We have used Brownsburg Animal Clinic exclusively since 2004. We have been blessed in that neither of our pets have been sick up until now so all we've needed was preventative care. My dog seems to have a cold in her eye and just doesn't seem to be feeling well. I called first thing this morning and talked to Stephanie. I was informed that they are booked today and tomorrow (closed on Friday for July 4th) so they can get her in on Monday. Normally, that would be fine except, not only is she sick with symptoms, but we are to leave for a week early Saturday morning so she is to be boarded. But she cannot be boarded if she is SICK! While I was on hold, they received a call for an emergency surgery so they really couldn't work her in. The fact that they couldn't see her before we leave is NOT my issue. My issue is that Stephanie's only advice was to use a warm cloth to wipe off the gunk from her eye. I asked what I can do for her to fix the illness - i.e., would Benadryl work or what should I do? and she repeated how to wipe her eye off. She didn't seem to get that I need to get her better not just ignore it. After many requests for guidance on what to do to care for my dog, she finally told me to take her to an emergency clinic, Ok, WHERE!?? She couldn't tell me where she suggested I take my dog... just "an emergency clinic"... I got completely blown off. This is my dog's DOCTOR! She is SICK! I think my dog deserves to be more of a concern than being told "sorry about ya". When I called back, after searching for an emergency clinic and getting an appointment, and talked to Stephanie. I requested my dog's medical records and told her we wouldn't be back. She got kind of snide and "apologized" for not getting my dog in today but they have an emergency. She just doesn't get it. They lost a patient - not because they couldn't get her in when she needed it (I get that they were booked and there was nothing they could do about that) - but due to her lack of willingness to do her job and help her patient (even it if would have only been to suggest a specific emergency clinic that they trust ). I guess as long as you only need preventative care, this is a great place to go... but if you are in need of medical attention and it isn't a life threatening emergency, you are out of luck. Too bad too... I really liked Dr, Brady. But a business is not just the doctor, the staff affects the quality of care as well. Yes, I am upset right now. But I feel it is rightly so. read more

I adopted my kitten, Rizzoli, 7/2/16. I started to notice that she was having some problems with her eyes on a Thursday. I called that Friday and talked to Emily and she was very nice, she got me an appointment and told me ways to help my little girl. That Saturday I noticed her eyes had worsen and I immediately called. They were very understanding and told me they could make the appointment earlier. That Monday I brought her in and that same day I was able to pick her up with a diagnosis and medication to help her. I read her name tag but her name escapes me right now (which I can't believe because I thought her name was really pretty), she was a young girl but she explained to me how to administer Rizzoli's medication and actually made sense to me and she also took Rizzoli that morning and made me feel really confident about leaving her with them which is such a great thing. I called that day to check up on her and everyone was very understanding. I'm a worry bug, especially about medical things. Everyone was super understanding and helped me feel safe about leaving my baby with them. When I picked her up and brought her home, she already seemed to feel better, playing with her toys and everything. I am so grateful to Dr.Homm for making time for Rizzoli and I so last minute and to the staff for being so nice and understanding. read more

My husband and I just took our new puppy to Brownsburg Animal Clinic today. My husband has had dogs growing up, but our new puppy is the first dog I've ever had. The staff at Brownsburg Animal Clinic were so kind when I talked with them on the phone. They got me an appointment much quicker than I anticipated especially since I am a new patient. I called twice to ask questions before our appointment, and they were still as kind as could be. They never judged me for my silly "new-puppy-mom" questions! On the day of our appointment, we did not have to wait long to be seen. The facility was clean and inviting. The staff must be true animal lovers because they just swooned at the sight of our new puppy! That made us feel good! Dr. Walther was wonderful. She was very professional and had wonderful tips for us to improve our puppy training and made us (and our pup) feel comfortable. Upon leaving our appointment, I felt much more confident in taking care of our dog. I'm so glad I called Brownsburg Animal Clinic and I look forward to working with them in the future as our fur baby grows! read more
