Of course it happened right before a snow storm was about to hit. I called Ollie's Garage Doors and Sheldon gave me a great price and was able to come the next day, even with snow in the forecast. He installed New cables and told me that it was Way out of adjustment and that was why it was snapping and causing my cables to eventually fray. My garage door is adjusted now and there is no more Snapping sound as it opens. He oiled it up really well and now my garage door opens smoothly. My wife and I went back together on Mother's Day to let her pick one out. The same lady manager was overtly rude again. She then argued with me that she did NOT have the kayak I had just seen there a day earlier. So I got a different associate to go get it and I bought it. I am a life long "outdoorsman". Typically people working in the outdoor specialty industry are positive, active, people looking forward to interacting with like minded people. Lakeside Chimney was a great choice! We initially went with…read morea popular chimney company from around Springfield because it was who our General Contractor used. What a nightmare! They replaced our old chase cover with one that was so flat that it had puddles on it after it rained. They drilled rusty screws down through the TOP of the chase cover to fasten it, instead of stainless screws in the side. Then they put a booger gob of caulking on them to try to seal them. Then they got crazy with the caulking and tried sealing the chimney collar to the chase cover, which defeats the purpose of the collar to allow air flow. Somewhere between all of their installation errors, they defeated the very purpose they were hired for, which was to stop the chimney from leaking in our garage!!! Brandon and Caleb from Lakeside Chimney did an excellent job on our chimney! Even our General Contactor was asking for their business card.

Went down on a Saturday, walked around and looked at shelters on site ("looked while business was…read moreclosed). Went back on a Wednesday. Sat and completed my order for a sloped front shelter. Delivered and installed on Wednesday. The whole process was great, friendly, professional, courteous. Can't say enough. Thank you.. oh yeah, needed the shelter on Thursday. And then to top it off we went into the little shop behind the storm shelter office and bought all kinds of soda's made with real sugar and even some weird ones.
