I use quotes because, as others point out had I read reviews, this isn't your traditional brewery experience. With the Ten Pin bowling reference, I figured this was just a bowling alley with a brewery. I'm a fan of bowling and craft beer, so I was excited at this prospect. Instead, the "brewery" experience is housed at their sports bar / casino bar. Rather than watching bowlers and the obligatory Big Lebowski on a tv while sipping craft brews, we were stuck with Chive TV and uninteresting college bowl games on the tvs and people buying pull tabs. Just not a very enjoyable atmosphere for enjoying craft beer, especially if you want to ask questions about their beers. As for the beers, they were a bit hit and miss. Once again enjoyed the Gutterball, as well as the Oktoberfest and even the Groove Pineapple Wheat despite not usually being a fan of beers that add pineapple (not sweet like I expected). The rest were a bit lacking in execution, and they were out of several IPAs/pales that were listed on the menu. We also had their wings, which were actually quite solid. If they were to move the taps into the production facility next door or better incorporate it into the bowling alley experience, we would consider coming again. But probably not with the existing setup.

I thought smoking had to be 25 feet away from all entrances?). We went to see a band there and they were playing outside, but the patio was full of smoke so we opted against listening to the band and sat indoors, which was fine until they opened the door and let the smoke into the building. They have a bar outside as well, but it is cash only...so bring cash if you plan to listen to a band play here. The food was really good, so I'll throw a 2nd star for that, but I doubt we'll be back. If you're a smoker, this would be a great place, I suppose, but I quit over 10 years ago and don't want to sit in a place that reeks of smoke.
